I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. nobody is going to give you *their* golden eggs. Beside listening to influencers on what to do you *with your* money is not a good move. They often have hidden interest in telling A or B.
If you have that much, put it in an ETF, at the average rate of 10%, you make 70k the first year, 150k the 2nd and 250 the 3rd year etc while being much safer.
Another idea to get dividends yielding stocks, so you also have a monthly/quaterly/anual passive income. But then you need to do your due diligence into where to invest.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information.
Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

The step #5 was so true and the lesson on buying quality tools is a tough lesson to learn but one I strongly suggest.
Do not only take this in one area of your objects but the people in your life. Like spending money on things you spend time on people and you need to have valuable people in your life if you are going to have a good life.
Good people are hard to find these days but worth it.

Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown

Agreed, It's essential to diversify your portfolio. While quality stocks are a solid foundation, you should also consider other assets to spread risk. Great video Mark. It's been a while since I last commented but thanks to some of your advice, I'm doing much better. I made a plan to clear all outstanding credit and to start investing in 2020. Since then, I've helped my son become debt free, and set him on the road to investing. I have a capital reduction plan to clear my mortgage at the end of 2026 and I earn enough dividends to assist with my pensions for my retirement plan. I never wanted to become a millionaire, (and I probably never will), but, with hard work and a single minded attitude and good advice from you, I'm much better off. Thank you and Curtis.

In order to become rich at a young age, you need to work hard, be smart, look in the right place, and knowing that certain places that your looking at, aka a business or stock, that will go up. Also, knowing what stock will go down, and you buy it for a discount and sell it when it gets up. It's a combination of those things, or it could just be work hard, be smart, and get a business or get into real estate. Also, the majority of us are not going to be rich like owning a big mansion with a lot of nice cars, but we can become financially free by getting out of consumers' debt, and buying things you can afford with your income. Saving for retirement.

Just to make it clear, when you say invest in S&P500 you don't mean that listing on the market but in an individual company in the S&P 500 group? If just investing in say SNPD do you get the same results? Do both pay dividends?

Investing not too hard....The chart shows all....Find a stock with a good chart where it's making new highs and buy in. This is a safe way to invest with good outcomes. Also you want to find something you believe in. Like maybe you believe UBER might be really successful, so maybe you invest into that. Or maybe LYFT. Or maybe some other stock but something you know about, something you see, something you see where you see with your own eyes they are going well, then you invest. Look for things which are new, like years ago marijuana stocks were new, you could have bought early and did very well. If you can have an eye for what is new and you can take chances if you think it will truly make money. Good luck....Bow

You sound like me 🙂I made a lot of mistakes first starting out. It's easy to make a mistake until you get some experience. Here is a tip: Try to get yourself good at knowing when to buy, maybe on a good dip, a good pullback, and then buy. Then it will bounce and then place a break even stop on your position, if it comes back you get out break even and no loss. But....if it keeps moving up....then you're invested. This technique will keep you from taking big losses and keep you out of the misery of having dead money work for you, meaning you're in a negative position and losing money, so that you can use your money to make money with much more aggresively. For instance if you place a break even stop and it gets hit then you have money again to place another trade. You keep doing the same thing until you hit it and are in a successful position going long. It's not that hard to do but it does take some practice. A good method of approach is to buy pullbacks, wait for a bad day or two or three and then wait for a bounce to happen on the chart and for it to stabelize a little and then buy, buy the chart. If you buy and go negative you must get out with a 10% loss, to keep your money alive....better yet....use the chart. Find a recent low it's made and place your stop right below that low, make sure the low is fairly tight and not too much of a loss. Try not to take anything more than 10% loss, work on getting your entries down better. Try to think to yourself, you're going to buy when you think you should sell, and you're going to sell when you think you should buy or it's getting ready to go to the moon after it just went to the moon, sell. If you could master this one technique alone you could do very well for yourself. Go look at some airline stocks like American Airlines and notice they like to go down below $2 often enough. If you see that opportunity do not be affraid of all the bankruptcy talk and go for it and purchase. And then reap a 1000% profit and do not be greedy, there is a time to get in and a time to get out....think and invest and profit.....you must learn how to take profit.....Good luck.....Bow

That's the appropriate first step. A lot of people with more expendable income say how easy investing is without understanding how difficult it is for the average person. As a low income individual myself, I'd say it's still beneficial to put away a small percentage; assuming, that it doesn't impact life negatively. 2% can still make a difference long term.

I’m loving invest engine so far, especially how simple it is. However they are a very new company compared to say Vanguard or HL and although they are ring-fenced and protected by FSCS it still makes me nervous to trust such a new company. 85k cover is not much if you have a ‘set and forget’ attitude. I wouldn’t feel safe once I’d gone over 85k, even if you stopped there your profits are in danger..Where Vanguard and HL have been around since the 70s, so the fees actually pay for that credibility. Just something I’ve been thinking recently as I’m in it for the long term.
