I have an Opolar for my laptop, it does work if you're not using an ultrabook. It's a more powerful fan, but I wouldn't recommend this for new laptops. When I gamed on a laptop before building my rig, the opolar laptop cooler actually really saved my life. It sucked the hot air out and kept the temps down while gaming. Actually saw FPS stability thanks to this. It's not as useless as you make it seem. The point isn't to make your laptop fans faster, just to reduce the amount of heat inside your laptop.

That laptop cooler thing, appears to be designed more with old 2007 laptops in mind, as I had an Acer Aspire 5050 from that time, where its fan died, but still ran for long enough for the system firmware to not display an error code, so it ran really hot when in use.
As someone who uses an older gaming laptop, the opolar cooler is actually really useful. It obviously wont work on a laptop that thin, but for an older machine that is normal thickness it makes a big difference in terms of heat. For me personally, it can increase my fps by 30 at times due to its cooling
Bose actually made 2 versions of those QC headphones. The difference between the Android and iOS version is the iOS version has a 3 button mic for volume and play/pause/calling, while the Android version only has a single button mic. So if you used the Android version on an iPhone you won't get volume control you'll only get play/pause
I actually bought the Opolar thing for my laptop and it worked amazingly well. My laptop was always having really bad overheating problems and nothing I did was able to fix it so I tried that and it actually worked! The temperature dropped significantly so it gets a pass from me at least :)
probably because the air looses a lot of pressure to get through all the dust. Its like with radiators. If there is a lot of resistance a fan on each side will do better. Try to clean your laptop, after that you will not need the external cooler anymore
I agree. I bought one for my 6 year old laptop (which is cleaned, no dust inside) and the opolar external cooler helps a lot, specially when using it for heavy tasks. For brand new laptops, the external cooler won't make any difference.
I bought one too, cooled my laptop down by nearly 20degrees while gaming, and yes i have cleaned my laptop already but the temp of the cpu still hits 100degrees when gaming (also tried new thermal paste and others but none of the method worked), the cooler works really well. Austin had the rubber wrong way round, its suppose to block out the vent so it acts as a vaccum to suck out all the hot air inside. Works alot better than a cooling pad.

Those laptop vacuums seriously work. my GF's gaming laptop has two on the rear, it keeps it from overheating all the time. Her model has a Temperature readout of the heat exhaust, different silicone shrouds to match the size of other laptops too.
laptop coolers like this are very nice for older thiccer laptops. my old laptop got so laggy just by all the dust collected inside. with this small vaacum fan it really got a lot better. the external cooler sucks all the warm air out of the laptop housing which gives better cooling and better performance. works really well for me. 30 bucks for a cooler like this or a new laptop xD

I've used the opolar laptop cooler on an asus ROG laptop for about six months now, actually does drop your temps, i was gaming at 70-79c, hitting 63-66 with this installed on my ROG at speed 12
The hilarious part on that TV is the outer casing was obviously not damaged at all, which means someone smashed it, and put it back in the box, and either returned it (and Amazon didn't check it at all) or sold it as new (and didn't check it at all).
