    Yes!! Scovillain!! One of my fav mons from this gen! Truth be told, I copied this deck immediately after watching the first match earlier this morning and used it all day to much success! Just finished the video now and it's one of my favs of yours! Is just enough non-meta mixed with unique strategy! Super fun! Thank you!

    O man! Grabber, Miss Fortune Sisters, Eri, Crushing Hammer, hand and deck discard with every attack that is brutal. I would love to go up against this deck just to see if I could survive it. As far as recommendations I don't really know, the only other Pokemon game I play with friends is Unite which is pretty fun maybe you could look into that. Another deck that would be cool to see would be something involving the Simis cards, but a modern take of course.

    I am using Eri instead, because you just use Grabber to scout their hand, meaning you only use your supporter when you know it will hurt your opponent the most. Also, I too use Bib and Skwovet, and so I use a copy of Hand Trimmer instead of your Judge. Your hands are not as big as your opponents'.

    • @professorgnome
      @professorgnome  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not a bad idea i think hand trimmer could be super good!

      @@professorgnomealways hand trimmer then eri. Hahahha. They will cry.
      I had an opponent size hand was 9, hand trimmer, they rid of the not so important cards, then u eri them, the important ones are there for the taking especially rare candy.

    Never put your tool card on until you need it especially against lost box. You are almost guaranteed to get it vacuumed. Best to use an exp as a decoy to save hero’s cape.

      Good point, I'm to used to most people not really playing them as much anymore. Thanks for always having great advice! Each game I get a little better haha ( ignore my major misplays hahaa )

    U should try scovillan, simisage venomoth combo, it handles everything in the meta.

    Really feel like everyone is missing the boat on this deck. Forget the second attack. The current meta has most decks running 0 - 1 switch cards with a few exceptions. Just gust up a support pokemon they can't attack with and use the first attack to trap them and get 20 burn damage. Then on the following turn use radiant alakazam to move the damage to a bench pokemon and repeat. Keep taking bench KO's while keeping the harmless active pokemon trapped.

    • @professorgnome
      @professorgnome  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's not a bad idea, I'll have to try it out, I think with switch and prime catcher and boss in people's decks it could be less consistent then just using two headed crushing but this for sure isn't a bad idea and something I'm going to start testing

    • @Tankpacqikcao
      @Tankpacqikcao 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have been playing this way too. But if youre lucky on the burn, it adds up til they get knocked out, which in that time, you need to get your bench and main attackers fully ready. This deck doesnt work on Lost zone decks. Those decks run alot of switch cards

    • @modernmaniac1780
      @modernmaniac1780 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Tankpacqikcao the idea is to never KO the active. Keep moving damage off to the bench with radiant alakazam, taking only KOs from the bench. Lost box is running very few switches these days. They rely on rescue board for free retreat and we just say "no" to that and on jet energy which we shut off with temple of sinnoh. Lost box doesn't play many stadiums anymore so the temple usually sticks around. Temple of sinnoh also shuts of mist energy which is a problem aswell so it pulls double duty. Then if we can grab a switch or 2 with eri they are dead in the water. Check for switches with grabber before playing eri. And if you find something you wanna stick in the active they haven't played down for you, use Erika's invitation to get it out and in the active. Hope that helps.

      I have not had that much of an issue with having bricked hands tho it does happen from time to time.

    How will it do against chein pao

    • @professorgnome
      @professorgnome  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So vs chein pao it really depends on the items you are able to hit. If you can get right of the energy retrievals then you pretty much win the game since they won't have the energy to finish KOs on you. Or the second option is that you can look to remove all the rare candy after bossing up bax. If you get any of them to happen you win most of the time. If you can't the match up is a little rough.
