    Great performance. I also would buy an acoustic album with Adam and this guitarist. Thanks for your reaction.

    That is his house, he decorated it himself! Thank you Shawn for doing this one, I love this mini concert, shows his voice amazingly ♥️

      It does. And I was serious about wanting an unplugged album from him!

    I still can't believe how this alien sounds even better live. For how many singers can you say the same? Just give him a guitar and his voice is everything you need.

    • @ShaunStackhouse
      @ShaunStackhouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There aren't many that can sound good with only an acoustic guitar, but there are definitely a few that can come close for sure.

      @@ShaunStackhouseprobably you are right. But they can come close in one live session, or even in one concert. But name one artist , that can sing effortlessly live every single performance. Every single one. Song after song, show after show. I hope one day the world is going to admit how unbelievable Adam is.

      Oh, I agree. Most singers have bad performances, but I've never heard Adam in bad voice so far.

    Another great day of reactions. I would love Adam to do an acoustic album. Adam singing Blinding Lights was the first I heard the song then looked it up. I really prefer his version. It is so much more emotional. On the Moon is wonderful.

    I totally agree. An acoustic album with these two would be fantastic. Thank you for the Adam Lambert a rhon. Always in the mood for Adam!

    From your lips to Adam's ears... yes! to an acoustic album. His catalog and talent more than support one. Of course he's busy with another project right now but it shouldn't take too much time whenever he decides to do it.

    Adam has already released an acoustic album once, I hope he does it again. His voice is unbelievably good. I mean, there are good singers, there are great singers, and then there is Adam Lambert. I don't think people truly understand how incredible his singing is. And I love him doing acoustic songs because then I get to just focus on his voice and enjoy all the amazing things he does with it. In an acoustic setting most voices are exposed for all their imperfections, there is nothing to hide behind, and you have to be either perfect or sound bad or not quite right. But when you have such incredible technique and singing ability like Adam Lambert then we get the stuff of magic. This was a great session, and I also loved the "On the Moon" performance he did for the Late Late Show with James Corden with the same guitarist. She's great!

    Agree!! That would be awesome to have the whole Velvet album made like this - acoustic just with guitar!!!! My favourite versions of these songs!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks, Shaun for the whole AL day!!!

    JinJoo is Joe Jonas's band DNCE and I believe she has her own projects as well. Adam has the ability to take a cover and make it sound better when he sings it. I didn't know The Weekend's song until I heard Adam sing it. I've been enjoying the songs he's released off his new cover album coming out this month. I understand his version of Chandelier is really great. Looking forward to hearing it.

    Thanks for this, wonderful reaction. I said once on another thread (not yours) that Adam needs musicians who can match his talent. It's an incredible challenge to play guitar with him, I'm sure. She does it so well. And yes to an acoustic album from him, maybe they'd finally give him the Grammy he deserves for it! Also, I loved hearing him do so much in his lower register. Kind of like butterscotch sauce and ice cream. Yum!

    • @ShaunStackhouse
      @ShaunStackhouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I completely agree! His lower register is definitely filling out as he gets older, and it sounds great.

    Is it just me, or is Adam, like, fully turning into George Michael? Or, GM with a bigger vocal range, I guess. (No disrespect on George Michael - that man had probably the smoothest voice of all time, and may his memory always be a blessing.) As for the vid and your reaction, dang, that was beautiful, and I totally agree that I would buy his acoustic album. Thanks for this, man.

    It's refreshing to hear someone sing without all the bells and whistles. Sometimes hearing stripped down singers reveals their short comings and its mindboggling that they can get so much airtime with basically artificial vocals.

    • @ShaunStackhouse
      @ShaunStackhouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh, absolutely! The inventions of auto tune and MTV have completely ruined the music business for genuine talent. Now it doesn't matter what you sound like, as long as you look good on screen.

  • @dandelionfluff_

    JinJoo makes me want to practice guitar way more than I do.
    I think he hasn't done a acoustic album (besides busy) because he thinks about how the album will be performed in a concert. Hopefully at some point he will do a more stripped back acoustic album. Voice-focused all the way. These performances took these songs to a completely different place.

      @@ShaunStackhouse There were/are so many places Adam's career could have gone and may yet go. He seems to be doing pretty well with so many opportunities. So looking forward to his Moonbase 8 episode. Never a dull moment.
