Awesome video! One major note, ALWAYS crack your fill plug before your drain plug, you don't want to drain it and then figure out that your fill plug is seized or not able to be removed. Otherwise, outstanding video quick and easy!
@@kamalakeel Late to the vids, but picking up another 350z as a project after years back of having some and I stumbled across the video. Definitely going to follow the channel as you have great advice and shoot the vids well!
Great videos Kamal. I might suggest that it’s important to make sure the fill plug isn’t froze up before you drain trans fluid (or rear diff). Keep up the good work.
Hey nice video Question, is this only for 04? I have an 08 and I was thinking of doing it since the car been sitting there for 3 years. And I though changing fluids should be a good idea
So it’s just drain and fill no bleeding correct? Only reason I ask is because it looks like the pump does let a decent amount of air in the transmission. Super helpful though I’m going to be doing this on my 05 Z!
Yeea, there’s no bleeding. The trans has a breather hose at the top. Same with the rear diff which has the same procedure for changing the fluid. The breather hose allows any built up pressure or air to escape. The fluid does expand when it gets hot as well. I’m glad this video was helpful and thank you for the comment.

Good point, for those that would need to take it somewhere if that happened, no longer possible haha. Thank you for the comment and suggestion.

@@Sigue24 thank you, I appreciate it. Definitely have more vids coming for the 350Z soon.

This was very helpful, I have a 06' 350z
Very helpful informative video. Thanks for that. Literally going get everything to do this now.
What are the benefits of doing this and is there a specified mileage i have a 08 HR on 80k miles need to do my diff too
Great video will be doing this to my Z soon 👍
Its 3 and 1/8 qt. That's why three quart bottles wasnt enough to flow out the fill hole.
what fluid would you recommend for a 2003 auto 350z 60k miles
Hey nice video

washer size washer for the plug?
Am I able to use Valvoline Syncromesh?
How do you feel about redline vs oem
Oil filter ?
The manual transmission doesn’t have a filter but if it’s an auto Z there is a filter to change along with the fluid.
