I think the Factory original is a lightweight made from Aluminium, for an idea how to indicate an JBL Aluminium diaphragm used in the old Version of that driver until ca. 1982 Open it and see the brittle parts around the Diamond Shaped moving area, Titanium doesnt Show brittle holes like specialy that diaphragm does if original JBL. I think a good todays replacement will be the Radian Version. So far i know from Engineering Data of the JBL 4435 They calibrate a lot at the pressing Mashines to realize that Perfect Diamond pattern (Question of moving area, Air Flow etc) without the efective Dome Area it cant Sound the same. For the Tuning about the high ends and linearity its better to boost from 16-22Khz or a tweter in that Frequency Range on Axis with the Horn at listening Position.
Mr KENJI ascoltando attentamente tutti e 3 i diaframmi nei vari passaggi musicali , secondo me,quello che suona meglio avendo un equilibrio timbrico superiore agli altri 2 diaframmi è il 1 cioè l'originale JBL. Degli altri 2 diaframmi quello che piu si avvicina timbricamente è il 3 sul jazz...sul pianoforte il suono da un po fastidio sugli alti...Come sempre ottima comparativa👍👍👍
First one sounds the most balanced and therefore best in my opinion. So cool that you fine tune them to specific genres.
