@@ddh2557you can separate for feeding time. I had to do with with my ackies. Breeding pairs often dont spend their entire lives together. I've even heard a breeder say if they brumate together they wont breed. So just because theyre a breeding pair doesnt mean seperation isnt a good answer
@@tipping_scales no i meant for the moment while you're trying to breed them. Usually you want them to spend most of the time together trying to make babies. I know that they don't have companions and don't mate for the rest of their lives.
There aren't any where I live, so I found an alternative. I got a(n) ground lizard/Amevia which has the same features as the tegus but are a bit smaller.
