Here are my thoughts about this topic: I'm agree that you should be yourself, and not change for no one just because to be with other races. However I'm understand why some people of c0l0r (especially us black people) act differently towards other people, especially when you get to introduce somebody new. Now for the guy (the one with the green shirt and hat on.) I'm don't think he mean no harm, you have to keep in mind that when you're are immigrating from international country, of course your english is not gonna be perfect because of your language barrier, plus, you have to be mindful that people who come from around the world especially all international countries they only saw what they see or heard in the media about black culture or America. So do I think that Xaviaer's tone could have been a little soft and not being triggered because of what he said? Yes. But I'm think is why us Americans do be open minded and not being trigger or closed minded because someone who is from a immigrant from a another country who is naive or don't know much about American. Another thing is that yes , I agree you should date who you genuinely really like, but when you are talking, bashing or generalize your race or any race because you have a bad experience or cause of how you look or making assumptions about that race, yeah I'm think that where the line gets drawn. Last but not least, at the end of the day: be proud of your race and who you are, especially the culture you have. Also, the only race we know is the human race, yes treat people the way you wanna be treated. Plus , there is every bad apple in all races (ain't just the whIte ppl only). But I definitely agree with Xaviaer, though at the end of the video. Little side note: in the words of Martin Luther King Jr: "I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of the skin but by the content of their character."
Well said 💯 I agree with some of the points in the video. I think it’s good to have these conversations to get everyone’s view. Also, Legendary words from MLK 🙏🏽
