I love that you picked up Shawn and Beth’s book. We’ve learned so much from them too. We have the privilege of meeting them at lots of conferences here out east and they’re such kind people. Beth will talk with folks for hours answering questions. You’ll love the wealth of knowledge in their book.
Can't tell you how much I enjoy your videos, Katie! I just love them, they always put me in good spirits. Too bad we don't have Azure Standard in Germany, I really would like to buy some of their items, especially in bulk. I'll keep praying for your health 💚
I've been off here for awhile so it's good to see how you're smiling and dancing around in your kitchen. Healthy meals for your family is always on your menu. Good vlog Katie.
Hi Sharon! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your spring!! That was a good day. I have to remind myself I have good days- I built the shed that day, too. The next day I woke up and couldn’t get out of bed. Shuffling around with my cane between laying flat. This darn back 😫 is out again. I guess I never fully recovered from the last bout and I’ve just been pushing through when I feel “good enough.” I prolong the healing jumping back into being a task master. Why can’t I just chill? 😫🥴 Thank you for watching. 🌻🌻🌻🌻
Thank you, Katie! So glad to see you having a good day well enough to see you dancing! ❤Makes my heart happy! Keep up the good work on the healing path. I had to open my Azure account while you were showing your haul. I’m loving the prices on the plant starts! You won’t find anything near that in this neck of the woods! Love the way you sliced the frittata to make wraps out of them! Frittatas are a family fave here so I’m gonna gutta do that. Thank you for all you do! ❤
The plant starts are a great price!! Guess what… doing the foot shuffle, my back is out and I’ve been down for 3 days. I get good enough to do things like gardening, then it goes out again… I’m with a walking cane cause I can’t stand up straight without severe pain. I’m so frustrated! I just cried and cried yesterday cause it’s a constant recovery/injury merry go round. I went to the chiro and cried there as well. My chiro had to help me on and off the table and I just yelped in pain with the effort. Thank you so much Kate for rooting for me. If it’s not my neck and back. It’s my stomach. I’m just really frustrated cause I despise being still and my body is making me be still cause I can’t move without pain. Seems to be getting worse and I literally cannot lift any weight- coffee cup is nearly too much to lift today. I’m still here. I keep rising. It hurts but I’m here.
@@RowesRisingjust to let you know this. I suffered with my back pain, chiro Drs. We were away interstate, had to go to the hospital due to the pain. Went for x.rays and found out it wasn’t my back, my hip was bone on bone, and the pain in my back is referred pain. Now waiting for a hip replacement.
@wannie9731 oh my goodness! That sounds terrible. My neighbor had a hip replacement and he’s all over the place in his yard working and he goes golfing. I hope it helps!! I injured my back when I was 16 and it’s been chronic pain since. I’ve had lots of scans in recent years to get treatments. I have a referral for spine injections but I can walked the first appointment because I got scared. I had them as a teen- I just don’t know the long term side effects. My pain doc said I won’t injure myself further if I do activities with pain- I’ll just be in more pain but no more injured. 🤕Which I e known for 24 years. It’s hell to be in this amount of pain most of my life.
@@RowesRising I get the living in pain thingy. I was in a car accident the end of 2016 and I’ve lived with vertigo and a TBI since. I use the pain scale to measure my ability to do things or not do things. I never go below a 3 or 4. But I can do things up to 6 but to different degrees. When it reaches a 7 is when I stop because an 8 will put me to bed with ice. Also, 8 and above I can’t cook so I batch cook so people can feed themselves when I’m down for the count. Makes me think of Kermit the Frog’s song, “It’s Not Easy Being Green”’ 😁
@RowesRising I understand. Since I had back surgery back in February, I have to be careful as to I what I do. I understand you have a family that depends on you but they'll understand if you take a day off.😇
@tiffanybenefield1980 do you think the surgery helped? I am doing my best to build core strength but I keep getting knocked down and can’t move to exercise. The kids are great- they are being very helpful. I feel so bad for my kids that either Aaron or I or both of us always going out of commission, that we can’t always do the fun things with them. They want to go snowboarding- and I love to but I just can’t do those things anymore. I can’t hardly garden. After a day outside , it’s a week flat on my back recovering cause it’s gone out again😞 I hope you are healing up well and getting your strength back.
@RowesRising Yes so far it has helped majorly. I had 2 rods & some screws at the very end of my spine put in due to my bone deterioration. I still have a month before I can pick up more than 10 lbs, but my strength & mobility are better every day. Just have to keep on but not overdo it. I would recommend my doctor but I'm way down in Alabama. I believe it would help you more than you imagine, especially with small kids at home. They would be tons of help & could be a biology class for homeschooling.
@tiffanybenefield1980 I was supposed to get injections but I cancelled cause I got scared. They help so much- I used to get them 20 years ago but I quit cause we don’t know the long term side effects of steroid epidural injections. I have a pain management specialist here now- I just need to get the shots so I can function. I know if I can build my core stronger I can feel some relief but that’s been a challenge with it’s going out all the time.
I was jamming to my tunes. It’s my least favorite task. It’s satisfying but goodness- sometimes I wish it were a glass top 😅thanks for watching Kitty.🌻🌻🌻
I wish! I scored it at a thrift store $8. Bodhi brand makes an awesome jumpsuit-it’s $100 though. 🥴 I have been seeing ones like this in my video at stores- not sure where you live but Fred Meyers had some around $30-40

I should!! Do you have any suggestions for a source to buy a root/plant? I tried growing some in the UK 11 years ago in a container and failed. I haven’t thought to try again.
A little late getting back to this . . . I see you've already sourced it. I was going to say that any root you get from the grocery store will do--no need to special order from a nursery. They do like a good, well-drained soil. In Illinois (# 1 producer of horseradish in the US), most of the horseradish is grown in the E. St. Louis area where the soil is sandy.

You can mix that horseradish with ketchup to make your own cocktail sauce for seafood and shrimp
Yummy!!!
LOVE the sheet pan pancakes and frittatas! Makes it so easy to make a lot and seems easier to freeze, too! I’ve gotta try this out 🥳🙌🏽
It works great!! I imagine you could gut them to Fallon size and stack and freeze them. Thanks for watching!!

Hi Laney!! I was home alone cleaning having a good ol time. 💃🏻
You’re back again!
Hi Jake!
You look amazing Katie ❤ hot mama . Completely fit!
You should grow your own horseradish! Though once you've planted it, you'll have it forever.
