It’s amazing to me that you consider these quick and simple meals. They seem elaborate compared to what I cook. Plus you have a bunch of little ones keeping you busy too. I love how varied your meals are too. You are a huge asset to your family!
Your food looks so good especially the pork chops and the fried potatoes! Yum! Your hubby and your kids are so blessed to have you! Love your new stove! God bless you
Hi Justine,My name is Doris I am a new subscriber and like your videos. I hope you read this comment, you make delicious and healthy meals for your beautiful family. I recently came across an article that says using plastic cutting boards may release microplastics that can get into your food, just wanted to give you an FYI. God Biess 😊
Thank you Doris! I'm so glad that you found my channel! Yes, my sister was actually just telling me today I should purchase wood cutting boards so I have some coming in the mail this week.
We raise a few sheep. Processed a few lambs for meat last fall and one ewe that needed culled. Went from having cooked lamb twice or so in my life to pretty frequently. I have found it to be a bit of an acquired my taste for me but no wonder because I didn’t start eating it till thirty! The kids love it eat it just as well as beef or better. For health it’s a very underrated meat. It’s a pity it’s so expensive at least here in the US, it’s not expensive to produce. Also Catholic so when I saw the channel handle I had to click! First time watching. We will have five little ones in the fall, five and under, and I do plenty of from scratch cooking but need to really try to keep things efficient, always looking for good meal ideas that are yummy and no fuss, ones that include lamb are an extra bonus! So thanks for the video. :)
Thank you for taking the time to comment and I'm so glad you found my channel. I also didn't try lamb until my 30's so I'm really trying to like it but I have one child that absolutely hates it, it definitely is an acquired taste 😂
Hi! I think most people and even our own family don’t realize how much effort and time we spend making homemade meals, bread, canning…or even cleaning and making so many others things at home and outside too. Even if we love doing all those things, sometimes it’s exhausting…but when I watch your videos it comforts me to see that you love doing it also and I can see myself through you! Thanks for sharing, God Bless you All!❤🙏🏻
Yes! We love lamb! We buy a whole mutton each year. We love all the cuts. Lamb stew in lamb stock, shanks cooked low and slow, the cutlets are so tender! 😂 I could go on and on… I momma six as well, 16-18mos. Also, cook only whole chickens 😊 though we’re up to two per meal!
Thank you again for sharing your time and recipes and helpful tips with us. Tell the children thank you for sharing a glimpse of the cute turtle. Make sure to squeeze in some rest, God bless
Justine, you are an amazing cook, and mom. You fix the greatest meals. I can't wait till next Thursday. I love all your videos. I have never ever tried lamb. It's not a meat that has been sold in stores in my city until the last few years. It is pretty common now but I don't even know anyone that buys lamb. I'm not sure if I'd like it or not. TYVM for sharing with us.
I can relate to you so much. I make every single meal in my household and I grow some veggies and fruits. We only have two kids, but everything takes time and effort because I like making my own bread, cookies, brownies and all baked goods, also my butter most of the time. I treasure this little corner in my week when I get to watch your videos. May God bless you and your family.
My family loves lamb. We eat it a lot. Especially making Greek dinners!! For my tzatziki I always squeeze out my shredded cucumber, this way the tzatziki doesn’t get watery. 😊.
I didn't try lamb until in my 30's so it definitely is not very common here but now that I think of it I did have some Australian friends in college who consumed it quite often. I guess it's a cultural thing.
Such a great video, Justine! Loved all the meal ideas. I feel so comfortable “in” your kitchen “with” you, we cook so similarly, our typical meals are so similar (and it’s a great way to cook for a big family. )😊 That olive oil you use is one of our faves, yum. Currently I have my 15 yr old twins making Mac and cheese from scratch for the family. It’s paying off to have lots of kids 😂🥰 Have a blessed week!

Just two retired seniors here…..always cooking from scratch… much better tasting and much more economical.
I completely agree. Restaurant food just can't compare to how good from scratch cooking tastes.
The pasta and shrimp look wonderful 😊
Your food looks so good especially the pork chops and the fried potatoes! Yum!
Your hubby and your kids are so blessed to have you!
Love your new stove!
God bless you
Thank you so much! My husband let me know again this week how much he enjoyed those pork chops so it will for sure be a repeat recipe for us.
All the meals are Sunday dinner versions - thank you 😊 for they are great ideas.
And it is so convenient to check the recipe in the description box.
You are welcome 😊 Glad you like them!

I agree, I don't think our families realize how much work it is. Im so glad you find joy in homemaking as well 😊
I've got lamb going in the crockpot right now! Well be having it tonight with unleavened flatbread, dandelion greens, and a garlicky yogurt sauce.
That sounds super yummy! I love a good crockpot meal!

I’m not quite as experienced with lamb as you but you have given me lots of great ideas! Thank you 😊
Great video, I'm going to steal the chicken bowl idea, thanks x
Steal away! I hope you enjoy them!

Thank you for the suggestion 😊
Great video. You are a great cook
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed and I try to be a good cook but I'm still definitely learning.
I love the chicken bowls ideas!! And the loaded baked potato idea, thanks! Mom of 9 from Wisconsin here, always gathering inspiration from other moms.
So glad you enjoyed it and you got some inspiration from it 😊

Thank you for the compliments! Lamb is for sure an interesting flavour, we just recently started purchasing and not everyone enjoys it.
Wow, all those meals looked so delicious!
Thank you! My family did enjoy them all!
❤ deliciousness. Your videos never disappoint. I find them so relaxing 😌
Thank you so much! I’m glad you find them relaxing ☺️
Hello ! En France nous mangeons l’agneau en gigot d’agneau ou en côtes d’agneau, et parfois dans des sortes de ragoûts
Quelles bonne idées!
I’m from Toronto now living in Colorado can’t believe I found something closer to home, I love your videos!
Thank you 😊 we are actually located not too far from Toronto.
I just discovered your channel recently and you are a delight to watch. And I love your new stove!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you are enjoying my content 😊
I’m a new subscriber and try to watch as many Canadian videos as I can seen your blog today and loved it. I live on Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia
Hi! Thank you so much for subscribing! Always nice to meet fellow Canadians! Cape Breton is a beautiful place to live ☺️

Thank you! I'm so glad to know you can relate, that's a big reason why I started this channel ☺️
Great video. Good luck with your new stove...
Thank you! It's for sure been a learning curve and I've definitely over baked a couple meals 😂
I ate lots of lamb as roasts and chops when I lived in New Zealand and also after I moved to Australia. I have not found nice lamb in Canada.
Good to know!
💜💜💜💜💜
All those meals looked delicious. We love lamb in our house, my youngest daughter and my favourite is roast lamb with onion sauce.
That sounds delicious. We love onion sauce here but I never thought of serving with lamb.
Ok, this is super yummy! You are an amazing cook. You gave me some new ideas.❤
Thank you so much ☺️
Loved the relaxing video, sweet friend.🫶🏻🌱
Thank you Sarah! So glad you enjoyed it! 😊

Great idea! I will be doing this next time! Thank you so much for the suggestion 😊
You make excellent videos.. You are one busy lady. You have to be incredibly organized to accomplish all you do.
Thank you very much and I try to stay organized but I'm definitely still learning!
We love lamb, but we are Australian so it’s a pretty commonly eaten protein here.
I didn't try lamb until in my 30's so it definitely is not very common here but now that I think of it I did have some Australian friends in college who consumed it quite often. I guess it's a cultural thing.
Can you give us a toru off your farm have a great spring🌷
I actually have plans to do a farm tour later this spring when we have our pigs, meat birds and garden set up. Stay tuned 😊
Such a great video, Justine! Loved all the meal ideas. I am so looking forward to my kids being able to cook a meal for us, you give me hope that one day all the training I'm doing with them will pay off
No lamb
Yes, it’s not for everyone
Love your videos but we are non lamb eaters. The smelll of lamb cooking makes me ill.
My daughter is the same, she absolutely hates lamb. It for sure is an acquired taste.
We never eat lamb; we don’t care for the taste.
It definitely is an acquired taste 😂
