I don't think Israel has been honest about everything that is going on in Gaza. However, I don't believe anything that comes out of Gaza regardless of who says it. Politicians and journalists are the most deceitful people on this planet. I think Israel has to do whatever it has to do to stop another October 7. You can't go on rampage killing people in their own homes and at a concert then expect to get away with it. War is ugly, Israel is losing so many young soldiers in Gaza and innocent people are dying in Gaza, it's heartbreaking. Hamas has to go, they started all this.

You are clearly wrong. The media relate to “women and children” as civilians, and they also doesn’t have any basis for the claim that the amount is disproportionate. In fact, any reasonable professional who estimates the proportion of terrorists to civilians conclude that the proportion is very impressive in a good way.
Don’t forget that many if not most Hamas terrorists are under 19( so-called “children”) and that women take roles in Hamas as well.

Israel and Hamas are not negotiating directly. This is shuttle mediation. You need to listen to what the mediators are saying, not Israel. Qatar and Egypt are very good and experienced negotiators. You can talk badly about them just cos it’s not the result you wanted, but that’s not an objective approach and you can’t expect reasonable people to agree with you.
