I couldn’t agree more. I ordered my Willys Wrangler at the end of 2021 and received a 2022. 8.4” Uconect, V6, 8 speed automatic, cold weather package ect. I’m currently getting around 23+ MPG. I’ve owned if for a year and four months. The Willys package is by far the best bang for your buck. I see a lot of pro and con videos, but I have no cons. I love it. You will too. Buy one, you won’t regret it.
I have owned my willies since 2020 it is a 2021. I ordered it right before shit hit the fan and it only took about three weeks to get as you will see from my channel if you choose to look at it, I have used this vehicle, heavily off-road, not only does it hold up in the woods it’s been a very reliable fun to drive daily driver. Are there a few things I’ve noticed that could be better yes but that’s with any car.60k miles and no issues in 2.5 years I think that’s pretty damn good
I ordered my 2023 Willys back in September and still pending it being built. I got it pretty fully loaded along with the sky roof for 5k under MSRP. I can’t wait to get it.
Last year i factory ordered a Willys Sport. 2 door, v6, manual, soft top, and sarge green. Purposely ordered the Willys Sport as i am one of the few (1% of the population) who does not get turned on with gadgets, screens, etc..... i could easily had bought a Willys (non-sport or rubicon) but again, not interested in the complicated features and all that. Anyways, mine has been 100% perfect. Oh, let the record show that my JL is a "true Willys" just like your tester. Options don't make one Willys more real than the other. Would have liked to see some trail riding on your tester. Good vid!
I ordered almost the exact same trim earlier this month. I opted for the tech package on top of the base. So Willys 2 door, V6, manual, soft top and tech package (power doors/windows/Alpine audio) and I think my sticker is/was 44k. How long did it take for yours to be delivered to the dealership?
We just pick one up here in AZ. The 4Xe has tons of incentives, and so we couldn’t resist and drove her home. Talk about space age, my goodness we are used to driving carbs, and drum brakes. This girl blew our 71 Charger out the water with horse power and torque. Let’s just see if it will last 50 years like our Charger
Great review, I'm in market for a new vehicle wanted something where I could not worry about my vehicle in any weather and something that has ground clearance. I like the willys I'm curious thought about the mud tires. Would these be good in snow here in ny? I've had wild peaks on old cherokee Laredo and that thing was like a tank.
I have a 2021 JLU Willys in all black but pretty much configured exactly as in the video with one exception. I have the 3.6L with eTorque. I considered the 2L turbo, but don’t like the idea of a direct-injection only motor. If the 2.0 had both port and DI, or even just port injection, I probably would have sprung for that. Anyway, I don’t mind the 3.6 at all. I still get decent fuel economy averaging about 21mpg combined.
I got Willys Sport with power locks and windows by ordering half-doors for extra 2500$. These factory doors are really easy to sell cause they fit any Wrangler JL, and you basically get yourself a Willys sport for the price of the Willys (minus LED group, which is not that great considering aftermarket headlights are way better). Unfortunately, for 2024 Stelantis a-holes figured it out and removed the Willys Sport trim, additionally doubled the price for the half doors.
I drove a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4 door before and it had that 2.0 4 cylinder turbo…I was actually shocked how much get up and go it had. It had way more than enough power to do what you need to and I actually got really good avg fuel mileage all things considered. Only thing I didn’t care for was the death wobble. Would strike often in the vehicle and pretty ridiculous, especially the first time it happens to you on the freeway and you’re going wtf
I struggled with this for 6 months or so…. I narrowed my purchase down to 2, Subaru outback wilderness and Jeep wrangler JL Willy’s - ultimately went with the wrangler. I still turn my head anytime I happen upon a outback wilderness 😊
@Trail Pass Still enjoying my Willys ecodiesel. If i were to change out, 392 would most likely be my choice lol 470 horse power, and 470 torque maaan. The 3.6L Pentastar V6 would definitely be my next choice when it comes to the Willys edition, or wait for the hurricane engine
@Wolf_Dominguez yeah I would love to try the 392. I really like the turbo 4 but that hurricane sounds great! I'm not sure how the 4XE would be but that has serious torque too.
Can you tell me where you got the cover for the area just below the gearshift on your Subaru outback wilderness. I know that’s not from this video but I figured I would put it on your most frequent video in case you don’t check old ones. Thank you very much.

Willys is my dream jeep. One day I’ll buy it.
I believe in you!

I have the full Willys package with the eco-diesel and its a beast.

Awesome, I'm sure you're anxious to get it. That roof is really neat!

I completely agree! I think the willys is really the sweet spot for a true enthusiast. Thanks for your comment!

I have a 4xe Willys and love it. Has a interesting analog/modern feel to it which is super cool
The Willy's 4Xe is the real winner in the bunch. 470ft lbs tq! and if you're just driving around town daily, you can do it all on electric battery.

I'm going to look at and potential buy a '24 Jeep WIllys this morning. The truck keeps pulling me back..giving up being able to haul stuff.
Can you take the doors off?
Very interesting to hear the history. I will stick to the Subie but a Jeep would always be 2nd choice.

diesel is best engine ever offered for Wrangler, they should've kept it
Ordered a black 4 door Willys with the One Touch Sky Top in December .. It was just shipped last week .. super pumped . Should I get it lifted ?
Awesome, congrats! I think they already have a nice look to them stock. I would definitely leave it at factory height for the first little bit.
@@TrailPass I think I will leave it as is for sure . Free 6 months of Surius radio too ! Cant wait
Great review! Love my JLUW ecodiesel!
Thanks for watching. Now that the diesel is discontinued, what engine would be your choice?

Great review! This is certainly my favorite trim!
Thanks for watching and the kind words!
I have the 2.0L turbo, good power but it sounds like a vacuum machine tho.
Locker for the 2024 version!
I saw that too. Wishing it would get the upgraded tow capacity and full floating rear axle like the Rubicon now!

All good sir! We actually don't have any kind of cover. Our outback is completely stock.
does the rear seat fold forward like on a 2 door
Just purchased a 2024 Jeep Willy’s with the 2.0 turbo everything works great except fuel economy but I guess you don’t buy a jeep for fuel economy!
It would be really really great if I really really never heard really really again.
Is pronounced Willis or Willeees?
