serendipity450 Thank you! The mega packs have a ton of paper. In the past I’ve tried to do the video in the same style as my 6x6 paper pads, but it was very difficult to craft. This style was easier for me and I didn’t feel overwhelmed to add full voiceover. 😊

And thank you for the tip with the diagonal sketch! ^_^ I will use it, and that sketch became my favourite the moment I saw it in the still picture of the video preview!😍
sophyamary Aw, thank you! 😊 There does seem to be less waste with 8x8 paper. Although 6x6 paper pads will always be my favorite. And they are pretty standard here in the US. I only get 8x8 paper with Love From Lizi kits. I didn’t think I would enjoy the diagonal sketch as much as I did. You will see me using it again. 😀
I really like your videos! I can’t buy every kit, but I had to order some of the peel off stickers. They really make your cards pop. The S&H was a bit steep, but I’m worth it. LOL Thanks for making it look so easy.

Oh wow I just came across this video and I have the same paper in a 12x12 pad I bought at Joann’s a few years ago. I used some of it but just couldn’t figure out how to use the pages with insects. Thanks for this video
I LOVE these as always!!! My favorites are the “Just For You” Carr with the butterflies and teal specialty paper (teal is my fave!) and the pink card at the end with the thank you die! Amazing job once again and I’m so, so happy you keep making videos! They’re my happy place. 😍

Hey girl! So I had a question. You always mat all your layers. Do you just make the mat layer an 1/8th inch bigger? Leaving a 16th of an inch border? Or do you do a 1/4 inch bigger leaving 1/8 inch border on all sides?
veronica Walters Hello. I usually cut my matted layers 1/8” larger. So it leaves 1/16” of a matted border. Once in awhile, I’ll do 1/4” if I want a wider layer. 🙂
This is a truly impressive number of cards from a pack. Great work! I have to ask, though, do you ever get burned out when trying to finish a pack or paper pad in one go? I always have all the best intentions of finishing a paper pad before moving onto the next because I REALLY don't want lots of scraps around, but then it's like my brain stops being able to be as creative once I hit a certain point. Maybe it's just me. Your videos continue to inspire me to keep pushing through until the papers are used up. :)
Heather G Thank you! Most of the time, I’m fine using the same paper collection until it’s finished. There’s a reason I prefer 24 sheet 6x6 paper pads. The mega packs from Love From Lizi are still a fairly new thing for me. I haven’t gotten bored with any of them yet though. Especially since there is such a huge assortment of designs in each pack. Finishing off a paper pad is not for everyone though. And I think if you try to force yourself, that just makes it harder. Card making should always be enjoyable, in my opinion. 🙂

Cherie Pemberton With very intricate dies, I put a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper, then run it through my die cut machine. It makes it easier to remove the die cut without tearing the paper. 🙂

You said you use wax paper with the dies. How do you do that?
Cherie Pemberton With very intricate dies, I put a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper, then run it through my die cut machine. It makes it easier to remove the die cut without tearing the paper. 🙂
