@@dingbat19 Agree - Earls Court was mind-blowing, still, the greatest concert I have seen in my life from the greatest band and I'm now 60. It's a universal spiritual journey in sound and light from IMHO the finest guitarist to play ever, Yes there are other greats but PF is the GOAT. As I saw in another post, his wife said that Gilmour has trouble with words, but put a guitar in his hands and you will get pure mastery and storytelling.
"Comfortably Numb" is the greatest song ever written. I'm 80 years old and have followed "Pink Floyd" since "Saucerful of Secrets". 😊

I’m 53. My mother took me to the film when I was in 4th grade because my brother told her it was a cartoon. Hahah . It really touched my psyche. I’ve been a fan ever since. And wow there are people who do not know of Pink Floyd’s greatness. Makes me weep

I'm almost 62 years old now, I've been listening to Pink Floyd since my youth, so for ~50 years now, but this song is one of my TOP FAV since it was released in 1979.

Chart music has always been garbage but the likes of Floyd, Zepp, Sabs, Purple, Hawkwind etc etc were never chart bands in their day, they were always outside the box or alternative. There is some terrific new music out there, but as it was 50 years ago you have go out and find it, it doesn't come you. Ime 67 now, and i am still going to concerts (albeit by myself but I don't give a shit) and still loving it. Because you don't like modern music doesn't make it crap, it just means you don't like it. Sounds to me your just stuck in particular era and that's a shame, you've missed out of so much
Best thing of having seen that live is that Gilmour's solos NEVER got interrupted… as it should ever, ever be.
I saw this in the states at Soldier Field in Chicago. It was pretty much like this, but about a thousand times better. The sound of the guitar goes THROUGH you. The lighting at times blinds you. It is a full out attack on the senses. Pink Floyd live is an experience you never forget.
Amen to that. They take you on a ride you just can’t forget and never want to.
So I know there's a few different mixes and different versions of this performance, and I was at Earls court to witness this live and it was immense. I've watched this song hundreds of times and watched most of the reactions. Run Like Hell matches, if not betters Comfortably Numb. But I'd like to know how and why the Chicago show was a thousand times better. Or do you just mean because it was live and you were there ?

@@flubblert oh right. Maybe it's just me. I just wondered what you meant. Yes the experience of it live was amazing. The lights from the mirror ball, sparkling in your eyes. It was like you were in a trance. Although there may have been other reasons for that ! People have since wondered why the crowd wasn't absolutely going crazy. But in that moment, having that experience for the first ever time, we were transfixed by it all.
I was at the same show '94. Life changing. Did you notice if you stared at the reflections of the mirror ball the whole stadium looked like it was spinning..?
I saw them live in 87 and 94. Incredible. What you can't tell from the video (look at the ceiling and you get an idea) is how insanely bright that mirror ball is. It was like they used aircraft landing lights on it. Looking around, you got the feeling that the entire stadium was spinning, and it felt like you were soaring through space on a sonic flying saucer. I'll remember it vividly until the day I die.
I just came here to make the same comment. I saw Pink Floyd the exact same years as you, and that disco (mirror) ball caught me so off guard, I almost lost my balance. It was insanely beautiful! By far one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I could feel the music just vibrating through my body. I’ll never forget that experience!
You don't listen to Pink Floyd, you experience Pink Floyd.
I had the privilege of being at this live show at Earls Court in London. I wept through a lot of it as it was pure sensory overload. The lighting was awesome and there are just no words to convey the sheer magnificence of the performance. It has had a lasting and profound effect on me and I wish everyone could have the opportunity to experience Pink Floyd live. Unforgettable and an impossible act to follow.
The whole Pulse Concert was so ahead of its time. What they pulled off in terms of light show synchronized with the music was cutting edge and has probably even remained unmatched ever since! Bear in mind, this was 1993 and the best computer back then was an early Pentium or something! And of course: David Gilmore is a guitar God! And some say that the second solo of comfortably numb played by DG on the pulse tour is probably the best guitar solo ever played on this planet. The Stage-Show definitely is! It’s just jaw-dropping - as you perfectly proved! :-) Other „musts“ from the pulse concert imho: „high hopes“ and „Shine on you crazy diamond“!

To this day this show and their stage presentation hasn't been surpassed.
They were doing this kind of thing long before Pulse. I saw them in the 80s and it was just as impressive.

NEVER interrupt a guitar solo with David Gilmour! Especially not twice!! Now that that's out of the way, check out "Sorrow" from same concert. Saw this concert twice and there is no bad song. You may want to watch the whole concert. I'm an old lady and seen many, many of the greats but nobody has ever topped this concert!

You know the rules , when Gilmore starts a solo stop the video and rewind a tad then talk a bit then play it but never ever stop playing it , but as for stopping it before the end is sin full and as said below doing it bleeding twice is really bad , hell fire even Americans say sorry for doing it and they never do it again .

That solo gets everyone stunned the first time they see this, I love that watching their face when it comes. The guitar is an extension of this man’s soul. It’s another voice. It’s divinity. Religious.

Being a boomer, I think everyone has heard Floyd...but clearly not. Until now, you lucky man! Lucky coz you've got a whole new Pandora's Box to look through with Floyd's back catalogue. This is one of their epic songs and Dave Gilmour is one of the world's best guitarists so a great place to start exploring one of the greatest Rock bands ever.
I have indeed heard of Pink Floyd my friend, I did say at the beginning but I have never seen this live show! This was amazing!! Just amazing! You are right though I need to learn so much more about this incredible band!

I've seen Pink Floyd four times in three different decades once in 74 for Dark Side of the Moon and 77 for their In the Flesh tour when Roger Waters was still with them and that may have been their best concert Believe it or not! I saw them in 87 for momentary laps of reason tour and I saw this Pulse concert in 94! I've seen around 100 concerts from AC/DC to Zeppelin and everyone in between alphabetically and never seen a better concert than Floyd!! Those other groups, some of them were phenomenal concerts but I'm sorry Pink Floyd concerts are a step above! Every song in this 94 Pulse concert is equal to most other groups finale. Comfortably Numb wasn't even the finale song "Run Like Hell" is! You should check that one out too!! I really do think the guys in Pink Floyd are from another planet!?!
Last comment, "Marc Brickman" was the lighting engineer for this concert tour and the guys in Floyd basically gave him a blank check and said "see what you can do"! And he saw what he could do and so did you!!

It doesn’t matter how many times I watch this, it still gives me goosebumps. Congratulations you have just seen the greatest guitar solo ever. If you are so inclined, you can’t do wrong by reacting to ANY of The Pulse performances. My personal faves (aside from Comfortably Numb) are High Hopes, Sorrow, Keep Talking and Run Like Hell.If you don’t plan on reacting to any more then do yourself a huge favour and watch the show in its entirety. I guarantee your mind will be blown. Unfortunately I was so close to going to this but personal circumstances prevented me. Biggest regret of my life!
I was at this concert, mesmerising is one word that comes to mind. this whole concert was so special. Watching this brings back such good memories, and i still get goose bumps. great reaction :)

Ahhh yes.... the obligatory "I was at this concert" that we see on every Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin video. At last count, at least half a million people on TH-cam have claimed they were at this Pulse concert. Who knew Earl's Court was that big?

I've been a Pink Floyd fan since the release of their "Dark Side of the Moon" album in 1973, I was 17 years old. I've seen them twice, one time was The Wall world tour in 1980, that was the most incredible, phenomenal, Show or Performance I've ever seen!
It was a complete Experience.
Pink Floyed was formed in London in 1964, they have sold over 400 million albums worldwide. "Dark Side of the Moon" album sold over 55 million copies and went 14X Platinum, it was on Billboards Top 100 Albums of all-time list for 962 weeks, that's over 18 years on the list! More than double the 2nd place album.
...and with the kind of music being produced today, it is certain that this record will never be broken!
They are just something else, the amount of you that have seen them is so amazing! I would have loved to have seen this show!

I was there the night this was recorded at Earls Court about a 3rd of the way back. I can't put into words the effect this solo had on me, Gilmour's guitar was plugged into my soul, I heard and felt every note. About a quarter of the way into the solo I had tears running down my face but I wasn't crying.

I was fortunate enough to have been at the Pulse concert in May of 1994 which was the last time Pink Floyd performed as a group in the USA. As a musician myself, I must say that this concert was the best I have ever seen. Throughout the entire concert I along with the 70k plus audience in attendance were totally mesmerized by the sound, video and lighting. It was an ethereal experience never to be forgotten! Cheers, Dave from Connecticut, USA. Fun fact: Pink Floyd had 3 identical stage set-ups including lighting each costing $5 million dollars. While they playing a venue, the other 2 stage set-up were on the move and being set up at future locations.
It's called a "rolling rig". Floyd were probably the first to do it, but many others have followed since, Stones, Maiden etc.
It's expensive, but it keeps spaces between dates at a minimum, which is easier on band and crew.
After watching and listening to your reaction to this classic, all I can say is, YES! 1000% YES! For the complete ride, you really do need to watch the whole Pulse concert.
Yes, I was there - at the Chicago stop of this show anyway. Gilmour can project emotions through his guitar like nobody .... ever. And yes, their special effects are 2nd to none because they have more money than God. You should have seen the last two Roger Waters solo gigs. Holy crap. Pink Floyd is and always is my favorite band, because they transport you to heaven.
I wish more people would react to mother from the Wall concert 1980/81. This gives a much more accurate picture of the real Pink Floyd when they were performing all the songs that Roger wrote.
especially in the Roger Waters show," US and Them," the factory that grows over the audience and in Amsterdam no less, beyond normal imagination. And there is nothing normal about this band's imagination. Pink Floyd did do a lot of psychedelic drugs. Most of us did as well and the audience was as high as the band. Was so much fun.
One doesn't merely listen to Pink Floyd, One experiences them!
Saw this live at Earle's court twice, fucking amazing, the best band in the world by a mile, still gives me goosebumps.
This band is a living LEGAND! I have so many precious memories of their music due to my father when I was young. We would sit and chill in the living room with the lights turned down low and just chill ax to this song. When we would go on road trips he would put on one of their CD’s and we would jam together. My favorite album by them is Dark Side Of The Moon. They have so many phenomenal hits it’s always so hard to choose one favorite. Im so glad my dad was such a huge influence on my musical taste. Music like this is hard to come by now.

Saw the Pulse show in Columbus, Ohio on the Pulse tour 75,000 people. Comfortably Numb was surreal, wanted the guitar solo to go on forever!

Back in O.C. Calif when I was 30 my wife heard a commercial on the radio about a P.F. show coming up. Knowing I am a Floyd fan she called the radio station (KMET - LA, “The Mighty Met”) to get information on the concert, The DJ on live radio Cynthia Fox…. said...."Congratulations, YOU are caller number 10, YOU just won tickets to the show and the Sound Check Party before the show"...
I met David Gilmour back stage. He gave us both a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I told him his music will stand the test of time with anything from Beethoven or Mozart. He smiled even bigger. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know. . I told him in my eyes he’s a “Legend“. He thanked me and said “Enjoy the show”…. during the concert after the song “Money” he looked right at me and said…. “On saxophone, another Legend, Mr. Raphael Ravenscroft” … acknowledging my comment to him. It is my favorite moment in over 300 shows I’ve seen.
I asked David…. How do you create those awesome solos?… he said….. I sit on a stool and listen to what Roger, Nick and Rick put down and play along. I listen to what I played and pick out what I like, then I put the pieces together into one piece then learn to play it as one. Our fans are fanatics for our shows to sound like the albums so I must play it correctly each time in a show. I have the concert Brochure and album on the wall with David’s picture centerfold.
All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible. The Red Fender Stratocaster he used for this concert in the Guitar Collector World is ....PRICELESS
You are very correct. I've seen a few reactions to this, and no one else is as aware of the effort that was put in to this. No other concert could compare. But when you are performing the greatest guitar solo ever, you may as well make it the best visual also. This is just legendary and such a combination will never be replicated.
The wailing with the flower opening, starting at 11:44, is the most powerful musical experience I know. Have experienced it thousands of times and it still gives me goosebumps and tears in my soul - every. single. time.

Ooh, this is a big one! I was raised on pink floyd, my folks were huge fans! This was a great show next to the delicate sound of thunder. If you ever wanted to analyze anything, 'dark side of the moon' deserves some time and energy. Love these retro-reactions!

I was there. It was the most incredible concert I have ever been to. The music, the lights, all of it was off the charts crazy big and over the top. Plus, what you got at the show, that you can't get watching the video, was that you could feel the music in your body as well. David's solo in this song was so good that it brought me to tears. I have NEVER seen another concert that comes close to what I saw that night.
I’ve heard this song this a thousand times, including live (I was a steward for three nights when Floyd played The Wall at Wembley). It still blows my mind.

When I saw them, it wasn't even the last song, Run Like Hell was. I remember walking out of the concert stunned. Like I had been ubducted for a few hours and then spewed back out to the real world.

First concert my wife had ever been to - recently got married and started to share things about ourselves, and she was impressed..... just to see your reaction to things that were during a time you may not have been alive during both warms my soul and feeds my passion for Pink Floyd.
I really enjoyed your reaction to this video. It allowed me to re-experience the memory of when I saw this live (Pulse Tour, 1993).
The entire show was beyond anything I could have imagined. You need to remember that this was happening live, in person, THIRTY YEARS AGO! It was so far ahead of the times that it is still, today, ridiculously impressive. There are no studio, computer generated, visual effects, added to this video. Everything was really there, in real time, in the flesh. The atmosphere that existed in that stadium, that evening was truly supernatural. Comfortably Numb was already my favorite "Headphone Escape". That evening, the entire show up to that point had already created for me, an alternate state of mind.
When this song started, a "Next Level" experience began. I became entranced. There were so many things happening visually and sonically. My attention was constantly jumping around, I didn't want to miss anything.
It was a powerful, experience, on a spiritual level.
The friend I had gone with later told me that I stood the entire song, with my eyes and mouth wide open. My head darting all around, and upwards at the light show. Tears streaming from my unblinking eyes.
I remember it as, crying in the presence of perfection. Witnessing the impossible become a reality. Yeah, it was that powerful an experience for me. No other show, before or since, has come close to that level of engaging my consciousness.
By the way, you mentioned "light houses turning" or something similar. I think you were referring to the revolving speakers that were onstage. They are called "Leslies" (after the inventor). These were (are still) the largest Leslies I have ever seen. Their effect was absolutely apparent during the show. Especially during the featured keyboard/organ parts. Search; 'Leslie Speakers', Wiki has a brief but informative article on them as well.
You have become my favorite "reactor" to watch. It is always a fun time. Keep doing what you're doing.

Feeling like you just woke up from a dream, was always the way with Pink Floyd. I think they KNEW how to tap into the part of your brain that is working in your sleep.
Finally!!! I've watched countless of reaction videos to this performance and, surprisingly, you are the first ever to give proper credit (and a proper reaction) to the lighting. The solo in itself is amazing, but when you add the visuals, it's jaw dropping.
I was lucky enough to see this live in 1994, the only time Pink Floyd came to Portugal. I was 13 years old then and was completely blown away when they lit up the mirror ball. I had never had such a powerful "wow" moment until then.
Other live moments worth checking:
- The Wall Live (Roger Waters) - I cannot give you one specific song to check, because the whole concert is an experience. It was THE best concert I've ever been to so far in terms of sound clarity and visuals in general. The whole concert takes the cake over the whole Pink Floyd concert in the The Division Bell tour (even though this performance of Comfortably Numb has no competition);
- "Ghost Love Score" Live Wacken 2013 (Nightwish);
- "Hollow Years" Live at Budokan (Dream Theater) - another outstanding guitar solo.
- "Fading Lights" Live at Knebworth/the The Way We Walk Live version (Genesis) - the musicianship is just amazing.

I am 70 years old and have played in bands all my life. This is the best lights, best show, best performance, best guitar solo ever. I played with some incredible players and I’ve also seen many guitar players who are technically superior to Dave Gilmore, but…..no one has his combination of skill, taste, and ability to make you “feel” every note he plays. The band as a whole is impeccable. For me….the only band I’ve seen live (twice) that can compare to Pink Floyd is Supertramp…..they are my #1 & #2 ….all time bands. Number 3 would be Steely Dan or, The Doobie Brothers.

I'd say Gilmour is exceptional not for HOW he plays (although he's still among the very best), but WHAT he plays. He manages to tell complex stories without words with his solos. And these stories evolve from show to show. The only other guitarist with similar ability I know is Bryan May.

Thanks for this great video! This brought back a lot of good memories! I've seen Pink Floyd live twice and was there for PULSE LIVE. "Comfortably Numb" was always played last as an encore. I love Pink Floyd and will never forget this experience!

I saw this show live in 1994 and it was amazing. What everyone seems to forget is that this song was just one song in A TWO HOUR LONG LIVE CONCERT. I also saw THE WALL live in 1979 at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood. If you will watch THE WALL you will see this song is part of a ROCK OPERA and learn WHY he was being SEDATED BEFORE THE SHOW.
I was there, 10 rows from the front, just left of centre. The greatest musical experience of my life! I live near to where this concert was performed, Earls Court, London which is sadly no longer there, every time I pass I think of that night. An absolute masterpiece of sight and sound that will never be repeated!
"Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits Alchemy LIVE is good as a unique performance. Maybe not such big by stage effects because there is nothing compared to Pulse Concert, but musically is really unique.

I’ve got to say,, blew my mind and was in tears at time. The lighting,, the whole sound was immense ,, seen then a few times now but that was the best performance ever , period. 🙏🎶 🎸, I’m 56 and been a fan of there’s since I was 16,, awesome band. 👌
I have seen both Pink Floyd (on this same tour) perform Comfortably Numb live and have also see Nightwish live. It is a toss-up as to which was the better live show. PF gets the nod for overall sound quality and their light show. Floor gets the nod for vocal ability and overall stage presence. I think they tie for complete epicness! Both shows were must see and beyond fantastic.
I saw Pink Floyd 5 times between the Momentary Lapse of Reason and Pulse tours, and have seen over 150 concerts in total. I always thought nothing would come close to PF closing with Comfortably Numb followed by Run Like Hell. It was simply the most intense audio visual experience of all time. Nightwish on their recent tour closed with Ghost Love Score, followed by The Greatest Show on Earth. And while they did not have the overwhelming visuals that PF had, they put themselves squarely in the conversation for best ending to a concert ever.

I was on one of the conserts they had in Oslo in 1994 on Pulse-tour. Still today almost 30 years later, I'm thinking of that consert. It is by far the best consert I've been on. And the best thing about it. There was no smartphone with cameras that disturbed the show. 40 000 people could have focus on the music and breathtaking lightshow. If there is one band I wish I could go back to watch once more live, it would be Pink Floyd.
I am now 63😕and have been to hundreds of gigs,I was there at that concert, gilmours solo on comfortably numb, was incredible,the emotion, the sheer volume,the atmosphere there was electric,it honestly brought tears to my eyes, feel so privaliged to have been there, and to think I nearly didn't get there, but that's another story🤗♥️
There's no other solo that so deeply touches the emotions as this one.
I love to see your reaction and am so glad you younger people can still appreciate music from my era. I’m s 65 years old and I was lucky enough to see them twice in my life. You ask what was it like to experience them live and all I can say it was so profound and in my case spiritual. I mean that solo little rips the emotion out of your soul and stays with you all your life. I’m so glad you appreciate this kind of music still to this day. I’m afraid the likes of David Gilmore are few and far between.

I can watch and listen to Pink Floyd all day. Absolutely my favorite band of all time. Saw them live on April 21st 1994 at the Oakland Colosseum.
I went to their concert when they came to Australia. It was a mind blowing experience. The guitar solos of David Gilmour were unbelievably magical. It was one of the best concerts I've ever been to and a memory to keep forever. Also my ears were numb for several days. If you magnify your reaction by 300 percent to real life that was how good it was. Love your enthusiastic reactions by the way.
Saw this show in San Diego. Best concert - hands down. The audio was the perfect volume (full and not to where you couldn’t enjoy it. It was also the best mixed concert I’ve ever been to. Every voice and instrument and effect heard clearly. And as you mentioned - the visuals were beyond anything I had seen. When the lights hit the disco ball the place went crazy/er! Great vid! TY!

Absolutely brilliant I was there and watched it live and even though the video is stunning being there was unbeatable. The whole audience remained completely silent until the music ended and did so throughout the entire concert. We were about 35 rows back in the centre and its the best experience I will ever have.
I'm 63 and I have seen Pink Floyd 3 times and this was the last time for the Pulse concert, during this song I felt like my soul was leaving my body right up until they slowed it down for the finish. If you think just this song was something then you have no idea how the entire live concert felt. I'm sorry that you'll never be able to experience what so many of us have experienced through the years with Floyd but turn it up, kick back, dim the lights and relax and you'll get as close as possible.
The feeling that Gilmour puts in his fingertips of his left hand is so great that he transmits it to the sound. You have to be born with that gift to be able to do that.
That music sounds like a dream, at the end it's like you'll wake up from an inner journey, that's why the audience doesn't move during the performance.
I was at pulse in Miami orange bowl. The sound was insane, that wrapped the stadium with surround sound and since there is no roof the giant silver ball came out of the ground and went up to the air. Being in Florida we had a crazy tropical rain storm which only enhanced the light show, with the rain drops passing through the lasers, incredible!☮️❤️

In the tape/DVD is good, but, live is Amazing. The light show it still in my eyes after 40 years. Pink Floyd concert is a full body experience.

I still have a tear now, after hearing this so many times - because I still remember hearing this live. Sydney January 1988. And you're right. At the end, of the song, even in the nosebleed section of the Entertainment Centre, it was like being in a trance.
And I'll be crying again next month. I'm flying to Rome to see a particular event at the Circus Maximus.

I am very proud to say I saw Pink Floyd 5 times in the late 80s and 3 times in the early 90s including this tour. Never again will there be a concert production like they always did. They never needed an opening act because they were the only thing you needed to make your night. I get shivers remembering how I felt every time. I definitely consider myself very lucky to have lived during this time to experience such musical greatness.

Hi, I was lucky enough to attend a Pink Floyd concert with my son, I think in 2019 (before the pandemic) at the Arena di Verona... the structure of the show was exactly the same: The immense circle that sometimes surrounds itself with lights, other times is used to project images or videos. An incredibly WONDERFUL show.
Lights and colors alternating continuously, nothing falling from the sky, of course, but we had the full moon in front of us.... I, who have been familiar with PF's work since I was a girl, occasionally clutched my son's knee tightly to keep from screaming with immense joy.
The band was the same as in "PULSE," and of course David G. was wearing his legendary black T-Shirt.

I was there, side of the stage right above the keyboard player, Rick Wright, and because of the light show, it didn't matter where you were in the room, you were included. It was f*****g awesome: the sound the lights, the atmosphere, the company I was with. It still remains the best gig I ever went to.
I saw Pink Floyd’s pulse concert on May 1 1994 in Birmingham Alabama USA. For me it was the best concert that I have ever seen,felt and experienced! The experience of the show was absolutely amazing and mind blowing! David Gilmour is an absolute outstanding guitarist hands down!!

As an older viewer -- I don't know how I missed this on your channel, but so happy to see you do this one!! My favorite Pink Floyd song, along with Wish You Were Here. And, yes, they do take you away to somewhere else. I have never used drugs or drank a lot. Who needs to when you can listen to music like this??????? My mom used to get so mad when I'd go in my room, turn off the lights, and put Pink Floyd on!!!! But I didn't have to worry about anything while they were on (normal teen rebellion).
I saw it two nights in Foxboro Massachusetts, one was totally clear, the other cloudy and foggy. The two shows had such different vibes because of the lighting effected by the weather. The foggy night had this weird diffused look while the other show it was extremely bright a completely different experience. The music for both shows was unbelievable. I can still picture the ball rising up off the field and opening up, again the effects of the lighting for this was so different each night. It was a very memorable experience.

I didn't see this exact taping, but I did see Pink Floyd (PULSE LIVE) on 7/18/1994 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. It was definitively the most EPIC concert I've been to in my life. Thanks so much for sharing this so I could re-live this incredible memory!
I was there. It was just like this - only better. This recording has awesome audio - it's as close as you can get to being there. But, after seeing dozens of shows throughout the 1980s and 1990's, no one got the sound so perfect as Pink Floyd - it's a sound that went directly to my brain - the best sound system I've ever heard. And that disco ball really did cover the entire stadium with whirling shards of light - it was absolutely spectacular!
I saw Pink Floyd LIVE once in the early '90s, the Division Bell Tour. Best Concert ever. There is just so much going on all over the stadium than just up on stage.
