Thank you from the bottom of our blue & white hearts (mine & my Dad's tally 150 years of support, as we watched on). The atmosphere at ikon was incredible, the sunset, under the lights footy, fireworks and smoke. The full throated happy north crowd. Real 2014 finals vibes.
I grew up watching footy at a time when you got to the game early, watched the U18s, then the reserves then the seniors. with the little league playing at half time, so one club many teams isn't such a strange concept for supporters of my vintage. If the 2's or U18's made the GF, they were the pre game entertainment back then, so you scrambled to get tickets and get to the ground early to support them and hopefully see them win their premiership.
Great effort by the North AFLW team to not lose a game all year and win the grand final. I think the womens North team are good enough to go back to back. This win was special for the whole club and I believe will spur the Norths AFL men team to have a much improved 2025 and beyond
And also what a ridiculous decision to have the presentations facing away from the grandstand.. we all got to watch the back of the presentations... I get they wanted the crowd for the background for TV, but it just sucked for us that were there
To the north media team. Can you explain why the f bombs were dropped by some of these players on media tv. Aren’t these people supposed to be role models. What about the young girls watching these big heads dropping the f bomb every second word post match. Ve.rynpoor and unprofessional. If a, male afl player did this he would be canned from all quarters.

I thought Kearney was best on personally. Jazzy was great in tight, but Kearney was electric and provided so much drive.

Kearns was mammoth, such a powerful next level performance. Those baulks, passes, give & gets. Brilliant.
But 35 touches and 13 tackles from Garner was also immense!! Especially with 20 minute Quarters
Tess craven was BOG for me. Got us going early doors and was everywhere all match.
