    Oh man, where to begin. I'm usually not impressed by dry oscillator sounds but as soon as you started moving the waveform slider I instantly recognized the familiar and very unique sound of my CS01. You guys absolutely nailed the sound and vibe of the original, and the added features makes this a really powerful synth. Everything sounds so musical, and I am just giddy as a schoolboy at the thought of having a CS01 on steroids in the box. I'm putting my real one up for sale today.

    I've been testing the demo version. Really great synth so far!
    Only thing is...Maybe it's just me, but I'm not getting enough vibrato intensity from the mod wheel compared to other synths. Hopefully in a future update that can be tweaked a bit.
    Also, for a free plugin idea... to have the speaker module as a separate fx plugin!

    • @alkal_alkal
      @alkal_alkal ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I think it'd be cool to be able to scale the intensity. But then I guess we start to go away from the simplicity esthetic. Still, better control of the vibrato and what you could control with the MW would be nice.

    Just tried this synth, I like it as a gritty alternative to the usual suspects. I hope you can add the following to a future update: sine wave to oscillator waveform (different smooth analog tones), a switch for a sine wave sub oscillator on oscillator 1 (more meat on bass tones), a dial that turns sidechain into tremolo, a formant filter type, and a switch under the chorus switch that enables a phaser.

    • @wouterdesmedt1736
      @wouterdesmedt1736 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. I have the same issue with Softube's tape echoes. It sounds really great when pushed but introduces so much noise in a mix I often find myself compromising between character and noise floor.

    • @wouterdesmedt1736
      @wouterdesmedt1736 ปีที่แล้ว

      I take that back. In this case, the noise only appears at the very lowest settings of the battery slider, and only occurs at the end of the envelope tail, which is a great feature to abuse!

    Why is the Pitchbender by default 1 octave, most people want that on 2 semitones or 1 whole tone / note ? Then you want to change that and there's no information 'bout that very important function.
    Not the first time that I have this issue with Synth's, guess that I gonna loose one hour again for searching this function. ✌🏼🤞🏼
    By the way I'm using the iOS version, this synth has a good sound with a nice interface.
    But no control over the pichbender interval makes it for me useless.

    Great sounding synth sadly there are not many bread-and-butter sounds. Mostly graffiti sounds that you won't be able to make much music with. Baby Audio needs to create genre-specific patch banks available for this to be useful for most music makers. Only a hand full of classic sounds that have and still to this day stands the test of time. Great synth, but not many useable sounds. smh
