Spent a long weekend in the NC mountains at a nice rental property. Saturday evening was -1degree with a wind chill of -22. The wood stove at the place got a lot of use! LBM - great igloo!
Man every time you talk about the about of wood you use I really appreciate how little I use. Thanks for reminding me to be thankful. I think 400 bucks in propane and 6 face cords per year to heat water cook and heat the house is a deal! Brush clean up worked out big time.

Nope, didn't do anything to them. Not sure about the Pine, but the Oaks have all been getting hit with Oak Wilt pretty hard around here. I have like 10-12 more that are dead.
@@Back40Firewoodseems like the oak wilt is worse up north, I haven't noticed any dead oak trees here in KY on my property. Granted I don't have a ton either
