I remember you saying that you were having a mild winter in one of your videos A little while back. And somebody said you guys were 2 weeks late. That's all folks and everything might be back to normal. I'm 35 miles west of Atlantic city. Man it's really cold here. We got 5 inches on a outside table. It's a temporary winter. The weather geeks say that in around 5 days it'll be 58. But of course it's cloudy with a touch of rain. But right now it's super cold but nice an sunny. Ha ha, which one do I go out side and split wood on. Damm the more I talk the more I want to go outside and get a hot burn barrel fire going . It's close to the splitter. I saw you snowblowing so now it's time to split. Ye ha
I hope you find the right buyer that will treat it with respect. You put so much into that studio. The carefully selected props out back. The massive amount of time you have there. Awesome vid that day Chris! Thanks for showing us the new boots 🔥💯👍. Total snow so far this year here in central NB is apx 6-8” I’ve only used the snowblower once so far.. it’s a different kind of winter up here too! ❄️💯👍. See you soon! Andrew from NB :)
Bought a snow blower when we built a detached garage with three times the concrete driveway I dad before. Rarely used in last 9 years, but twice in the last month with deep wet snow. At 72 I still can do it on my own, just a little over an hour and I get it done. Wouldn’t want it any other way.
Got about eight inches here in northern NB last night. Just waiting for my mechanic to install the wiring and brackets on my truck for a snowplow. No more shoveling for this guy! GNI
Nice job Chris. Tuesdays storm was a regular mess with snow and rain. Cleaned up nicely. Last weekend was the worst mess I have ever seen. Rain from the east. Snow from the west. Blizzard conditions. Turned into four inches of concrete topped with eight inches if wet heavy snow. I snowblower the eight inches and then chopped and shoveled the concrete ice chunks. Hi Wayne. I got a twenty five cent tour of the studio. To say it is incredible is an understatement. Any venue you could imagine, Chris has built the backdrops. Then go outside and there are su flowers and other flowers. He cuts an s through the sunflowers soo there are different angles of light. Then all of the outdoor props. The creek, benches. the truck, the old fieldstone wall thst they built as a backdrop. That was before the tractor. The wildlife that is in the average. Place is absolutely a hidden gem. The craftsmanship and pride in his craft is second to none. The photography world will be loosing one of its greatest assets. I studied photography in college. I sucked at it.
@@annmariekowalski7505 I have not had the full tour and have only seen what he has shared on videos but seeing the work he has put into a what was basically his hobby. @waynetharp HI with everyone running around with cameras on their phones, and social media, there are many Ansel Adams wanna bees. I grew up in Spencer, WI (central WI). The school superintendent at that time lived across the street from school. His philosophy was, “If I can make it to school, I see no reason why everyone can’t.” It didn’t matter that there was 3’ of fresh snow and we lived in the country, we had to get ready for school.
Morning! Mini-snowta is far away mythical place where they have an air filled trophy case for their Lombardi Trophies, sounds like a scary place to live!
In the day, snow days were rare for elementary and high school kids. If the school bus lost traction, the kids would pile in the back for extra weight over the drive wheels. Now I am at the age where my snow removal philosophy is "If I didn't put it on the ground, I ain't gonna move it!" LOL We got the double whammy of 2 snows last week and several days of below 0 degrees temperatures. That's normal for Northern Iowa this time of year. Stay warm and safe.
Nice video Chris. You certainly have a lot of shoes/boots. I did that double snow blow job on my sidewalk at the beginning of this last storm. Shoveled about 20" off my deck though. Lots of exercise for an old guy. Finally got the majority of the east/west hwys open around here yesterday. 45-50 mph winds with the storm shut everything down for about 4-5 days. GNI
Question When you get bad weather like snow and extreme temperatures, do you have a whole bunch of people that want wood that day? And if so, how do you normally handle that situation? I know it did cost me more in gas just because of the road conditions. My drive time was more and also it took more of my time. I delivered all day today. I make a video EVERY day and have for 3 1/2 years now (1300+) and you will see what I do every day for free, I think that is a great price for what you paid.
Where's the little electric blower? you send it back or keep it for your wife. we only got about 3.5 inches from the storm here in southern Maryland. was a little chilly this morning at 13 degrees. we haven't seen seen temps like that in 4 or 5 years. expecting to get another 3-5 friday. Stay warm. thanks for sharing.
Little extra time this morning, I went back and watched episode 22 where you split in below zero. Needed motivation to get off my Pelosi and get to work!
Here in Quincy, MA just outside of Boston we got a couple of inches yesterday then it turned to rain and when I got home from work it was like shoveling wet cement, snowblower was not a option, it sucked.

I sprinkled the ice with bird food just to get traction on the walks and driveway This really might not be snow, but frozen traffic bond.
I didnt understand why they closed schools that day either. It didny get bad until around 4. We ended up getting 14ish from that storm, but most it came after dark. I had knee deep drifts on my driveway. i have a snowblower on a small tractor , so it wasnt too big of a deal.
