OMG!!! My two boys grew up on 250 Enticers, we had two black ones, bought them new. When I sold them once they outgrew them, I literally cried when I saw the new owner drive away with them. 40 years later we still snowmobile together. Those little suckers would wind up to 70 mph on hard packed roads. Wish I would have saved them for the grandkids.
My heart smiled from the time the skates went on until the garage door closed in the end. Happy kids and memories are the best! BYW- you should absolutely teach them to drag race!!!!
Talk about Vintage sleds - they are just perfect for the girls. Funny how language changes once you cross the border - up here in the Great White North, we seldom add the word "Ice" to skate or skating. Regarding all of the Zamboni comments - many moons ago, before our local arena could afford anything like a Zamboni, they used a pair of units that were a barrel laid out horizontally on a cart. They would fill them with hot water, and it would drain out the back out a pipe with holes that flooded a canvas that dragged on the ice behind it at 90 degrees to the direction of travel. Not that you need anything like that, but it would be a cool project for someone like you with the equipment to do it. Enjoy the rest of the winter.
It’s so nice to see kids appreciate something given to them. They lit up like it was a brand new sled! Keep doing what you are doing, you are raising a good family!
Wow what great memories! The pond is worth its weight in gold! And I’m 56 so I share that feeling about the 70’s stuff! Those girls are going to grow up to realize they had a great childhood and the best parents!❤😊
Great video Neil. Made me think back in the early 70,s after we got the chores done we would head out to the pond and go ice skating playing freeze tag.
Nice to see the shock on your daughter's faces! The time spent snowmobiling and ice skating, among other things, are memories that will stay with them a lifetime.
You’re such a dad, Neil! You were as excited about providing the two snow machines for your daughters as they were receiving them. Subscribed last year for the pond build, stayed for the family dynamics. Best part of your channel !
This brings back great memories with my brothers and sis. Our dad ensured we always had dirt bikes for summer and snowmobiles for winter adventures. He lived a full and rich life and passed in 2020.
The reaction when they saw tbe snowmobiles made me cry. What a fantastic dad. God bless you and your family. Also cant be easy making content for us fans so we do appreciate how ever long the video is. Either way what a heart warming video
I absolutely agree with you…..we lived in MN for several years before moving back south to NC….and I hear so many people say they don’t want snow. I love it….I love the “chaos” as you mentioned…it feels adventurous…..brings back that exciting childhood feeling of “are they gonna cancel school tomorrow?”
Sir, I believe out of all the videos I have seen on u-tube ,your channel has the best content. I am envious of the family involvement from in-laws to cousins to wife and daughters. That's my idea of how a perfect family should be. I greatly appreciate you sharing that with all of us to watch. Around the area I'm in you don't see much of that anymore. Thank you.
Ugh I legit had the biggest smile on my face when you showed the girls the snow mobiles and they were happy and grateful. Great job mom and dad you’ve raised wonderful kids! So wholesome 🙏🏼🙌🏼
As a kid of the 80’s this definitely brought back some memories although for us it was old 250 Honda 3 wheelers and 4 wheelers. These memories will last with your kids forever. Great video Neil.
This is the most wholesome video I've seen all year! Love it! What a cool dad to let his kids ride snowmobiles!!!! I would have done ANYTHING to do this when I was a kid!!!
What fun Neil; memories to last a lifetime with your kids. Regarding your pond, somewhere on YT I’ve seen a video where a propane weed torch was used on a skating pond in place of a ice-maintenance Zamboni. Wishing you and your family a blessed winter filled with seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together. Peace brother.
Dad of the Year! It's the best when you surprise your kids like that. Thanks for sharing your interests and adventures. I enjoy you sharing your life and showing how a man, husband, and father makes a positive difference in his family, community and world. I can't wait to see your future 3pt Zamboni build for the ice skating rink!
Looks like fun! I've never ridden a snow mobile. When I was a kid - I always thought they looked fun, and we seemed to have snow here in NW PA from about Thanksgiving until Easter. But now, we just don't get and keep the snow like we used to. I haven't been able to justify the purchase of even an older used one. Looks like you've got two stylish ones now! Like you, I'm a child of the 70s and love those stripes (and the old Broncos!). Great job Neil and family. Enjoyed the Sunday video.
Awesome job dad! You can hear the stoke in his voice when asking the girls if the sleds are fast enough. Great content and vid wishing the Koch tribe a fantastic 2024.🎉🎉🎉
It's funny how it can be too cold to work outside, but never too cold to play! Now for a new project you can cobble together a Zamboni to smooth the ice on the pond. Time to get to work! 😁
I saw a guy make a zamboni with a piece of carpet attached to a storage container with holes one one side and he put hot water in it and drug it around the ice. Worked pretty good.
Memories you all making as a family are so special try to video record them because before you know it your kids be all grown up. I think every day are special with the family and friends.
Good call on keeping them out of that mesh in the new grass. I can only imagine the mess that would make in the track/idlers/drive sprockets. Keep on making memories!
ONE nice thing is I can grow old, and LOVE winter when I can have nice machinery to handle it. Nice benefit for the girls to skate on their private ice pond, AND Dad gets them en Enticer each :)
The look on your daughters faces when they saw 2 sleds in the shop was priceless. I miss the days of running around on snowmobiles,. We never bought the new fancy ones just some 15 year old, or older to mess around with but I think we had more fun than some of our buddies with the new ones. By the way I really liked that Dodge dump truck at your neighbors.
Brought back memories of me racing around on a 70s era Arctic Cat Panther with my cousins growing up in MN in the 90s. Those Yamahas look like a lot of fun, thanks so much!
Love the wholesome videos, of your projects and the whole family pitching in. Great job of parenting. Hint from Canada, if you flood the pond a little bit , it will smooth out the ice. Cheers keep them coming
You are winning. You also are an inspiration because i feel happy when someone who breaks his back can enjoy life like this, and this keeps me pushing uphill ✌🏼
Wish I have had a dad like you are for your kids. But... my mum was the best mum I could have wished for. It's so much fun to see you surprising your kids and how much they appreciate your effords.
Thanks Neil. It's great to see you guys out playing in the snow. We don't seem to get as much snow in NJ as we used to, and it seems that all I get to do is shovel it when it comes. I'm not sure which girl said it but "I'll take the faster one" just cracked me right up!
Family time rules sir, really enjoy your channel. Never enough of your videos Neil, beautiful family and great channel. You are truly blessed as well as we are for you sharing. ❤
Remember the neighbors blue 250 Enticer in the early eighties. If I was lucky I’d get an invite to go along for an hour or two. Makes me smile to see the girls creating these memories that they’ll have the rest of their lives. You’re a great dad, Neil! 😊
Neil we had snowmobiles as kids, an old Moto-Ski and a Starcraft we had them for 4 years, then our dad got a chance to buy two 1972 Rupp American 440`s, from a buddy of his who bought them brand new for his place up North, They sat there for 2 years, he hardly used them, all my dad had to do was go up there and get them, they made some payment plan, so we did a weekend road trip, it was a 4 hour drive to northern Michigan, we brought them home, cleaned them up, got them running with new gasoline and plugs, and we had two of the nicest snowmobiles on the block, they were fast, I think 40 mph, that was fast back then, we snowmobiled every weekend in the winter. I will never forget that the rest of my life, we loved it, your girls are having a riot, that red Enticer looks brand new, good times.
Hello Neil, I came across your U tube channel completely by accident but I have found all of your video's fascinating and I am now finally up to date having watched them all. Thanks so much David. I'm glad to have you watching and appreciate all the kind words. We're just trying our best and enjoying life with family close by and I'm grateful for the people that follow along.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and also some excellent words of wisdom with us. I pray that The Lord's Blessings will continue to be with your family.

Awe creating wonderful memories ❤ I grew up with snowmobiles and ice skates here in West Michigan. My dad taught us at a young age as well. We would race on the “stretch” we called it, next to the Grand River. But the “room to ride” here is disappearing 😢. Enjoy making those memories ❤️
They were both so excited walking in and seeing one for each of them! And pretty amazing girls for shoveling the pond several times to finally get to skate! Thanks for sharing your new memories with all of us.
Neil, you are making memories which they will never forget. (And once they are grown up? The very same "fun" stuff will not be the same. For some reason, the "fun" level - I guess? just does not feel the same, )
Neil, great video as always. I’m going to be a first time Dad in September. I can only aspire to be as great of a Dad as you you are! Great job all around!
Awesome seeing the kids light up with joy on those sleds! when i was young my Grandfather had a bunch of snowmobiles and would trailer them somewhere for the whole family to meet up and ride, it wasn't till later in life did i realize he didn't have them because he wanted to ride but had them to make memories for all of us kids. Man i miss him, anyway , thanks for sharing the memories your making for your family, Well done sir!
As a fellow Hoosier, I can totally relate. Thank you for sharing such wholesome content. As a parent of two young children, I can completely relate to their disbelief and joy with two snowmobiles. Not too many things get better than that!
Back in the late 80s, early 90s, my father bought me a 1978 Atric cat panther. It was a piece of junk. On Friday nights, we'd go behind the house and drive up and down that 1/2 mile long trail all night. The snowmobile would break down every 5 minutes, but I loved every second it. One of the greatest memories I have with my father.
I see a DIY Zamboni in Neil’s future.
Aww, the two kids being so excited and pull starting their own snowmobile with their giant helmets brought a huge smile to my face! Thank you 😊
Meeee too! So wholesome!
Neil, these are the best memories kids can ever have! Great parenting you and your wife are doing!
Thanks so much Doug! I'm reliving my own childhood.
awesome memories.....they will remember this forever. Thank you for sharing.
Neil you are a fantastic dad, they will remember these days all their lives
To see kids outside and just having fun a lot of kids today, just stare at the phone or the TV it’s awesome seeing kids just being kids outside
Drone shots of the girls riding the snow mobiles was wonderful. Glad you were able to capture those moments for the family memories
Plus it was nice to be able to keep an eye on them even when I wasn't riding with them! Thanks Adam!
These girls will remember this experience for many years to come. Drag racing the snowmobiles is lit!!
Awww you are the best dad ever.
You know the girls will be telling their kids about the fun they had on these years from now. Good job building memories for your kids, Dad.
OMG!!! My two boys grew up on 250 Enticers, we had two black ones, bought them new. UND really needs to bring back women's hockey.
The girls took off on the snow mobiles. It was so beautiful, I started crying.
Just fantastic!!!! Well done Sir!!💪🇺🇸
Break those stereotypes that girls only play with dolls. Love it brother
That snowmobile IS the color of our childhood!
Your production quality has always been high, but this one might take the cake. Those girls are getting the memories of a lifetime 👍
Appreciate that
Great Dad, Great family, Great life. 🙏
You just won dad of the year! God bless

I love how you spoil the girls! It is great. Children are a treasure!
As a father of 3 girls I can confirm there's no greater joy than seeing your girls in awe and excitement for something you came up with for them!
that's so cool pops doing this for your girls. simple life is the best! you can't erase memories like this. its for life. Bravo to you.
Fun video to watch, anything family is always good content, nice sleds. Thanks for the video sir, very enjoyable.
Looks like so much fun! The girls will always remember these times and pass it along to their future families
Your a top dad Neil making great memories for the kids
It’s so nice to see kids appreciate something given to them. They lit up like it was a brand new sled! Keep doing what you are doing, you are raising a good family!

I think this week's episode was one of my favorites. I grew up in MN and snowmobiled a lot as a kid - in the mid-70s
Thanks 👍🏻
You did good! Not only got to ice skate, they got to snowmobile. Awesome Family Memories being made. Thanks for sharing!
Great video Neil. Made me think back in the early 70,s after we got the chores done we would head out to the pond and go ice skating playing freeze tag.

I miss playing pond hockey in the 80s. No greater feeling than making family smile!

Hi from Michigan. Hot coffee and watching your videos are now part of my Sunday mornings. Never fails….
Great video! Family time is so so important. The reactions to the second snowmobile were priceless!
Exactly!
Heated driveway and paths are super easy and very functional for people's when we get older.
Bringing back old memories. Fun times !

My first thought with the ice scatting was, I wonder if Neil has searched marketplace for a Zamboni 😁

This was such a great video
The kids obviously loved it
You and your family are living life well
Cheers from Scotland
Glad you enjoyed it

I had as much fun as they did with the snowmobiles, laughing and smiling as well. (But I have never been on one. 78 yr. old Arkansas)
One fantastic example of a happy family, happy life.
Thanks Neil. It's great to see you guys out playing in the snow. We don't seem to get as much snow in NJ as we used to, and it seems that all I get to do is shovel it when it comes. I'm not sure which girl said it but "I'll take the faster one" just cracked me right up!

We had a blue Enticer 300 when I was a kid.
That sounds awesome! Thanks Joe!
Hello Neil,
I came across your U tube channel completely by accident but I have found all of your video's fascinating and I am now finally up to date having watched them all.
It is amazing to see how different life is for you and your lovely family living where you do with temperatures outside lower than inside my freezer here in the UK!!
It is also amazing how adaptable your girls are, dipping oil in your machinery and driving tractors at their age!! some children in the UK are incapable of sharpening a pencil at their age all credit to you and your wife / family for the comprehensive upbringing that your twins are receiving.
Long may the video's continue it's really amazing to follow you and your family life through the seasons, it must be lovely being part of such a nice community with neighbours that you can rely on if you need assistance.
Best possible regards David.
Thanks so much David. I'm glad to have you watching and appreciate all the kind words. We're just trying our best and enjoying life with family close by and I'm grateful for the people that follow along.
Your so blessed, truly an American family
Love your videos Neil and familys your kids had very much fun .
Thanks 👍
The girls loved the snowmobiling!! 😀
Good morning & God bless you all
You and your family are the heart of America......thank you!
Those retro ones are sweet! I’ve only ridden once in Ohio on an old school JD one at my wife’s family’s farm. So much fun!
What an awesome home and family. Absolutely living the dream. What more could anyone want??
Great buy Dad! They looked so excited. Bet they will make great memories with those machines.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and also some excellent words of wisdom with us.
I pray that The Lord's Blessings will continue to be with your family.
Thank you so much!
Nothing like the smell and sound of those snowmobiles, especially with the first ride of the season. I completely forgot about the Kiddie Cat. We had one for the kids way back when. And finally, HOCKEY! That alone makes the pond worth the effort. (for me) Another pleasant Sunday morning. As always, thanks again. See ya on the next one.
I appreciate it.
7:55 is what you live for, the genuine reactions like that is what makes putting in effort worth it.
Yep!
Heck yes you should be teaching them to drag race. Those are memories that last a lifetime Neil.
Congratulations! I'm sure you'll do great!
Awesome family fun. Great memories made. Nice to see not all expensive latest machines. 👍
Great video Neil. Your story telling skills and videography is amazing. Fun watching the girls ride and have fun.
Thanks a ton!
