- Hey im Ed and welcome aboard sailing optimist. I have decided at 28 years old to ditch the normal life and start living our my dream. Ive managed to sell, beg and mainly borrow (thank you good credit) to buy my dream boat! A 1997 Westerly Oceanquest 35.
This week, I'm trying to avoid burnout after a hectic couple of months of going full-throttle. I know it seems a bit crazy being burnout so young, but my previous 8 years of running companies and having a lot of personal things happen, has lead me to burnout only 18 months ago. And that is something I'm trying to avoid!
Please like & Subscribe and come along on the journey, because let's face it! Life is to short not to do these things, and who knows where we will end up!

Your living the dream life is short, it doesn’t have to be the med home is where the anchor drops ❤
Far too short! I love that saying, Im going to steal that if thats okay! Roll on summer and adventures !
Great episode as ever. What is the name of the battery charger that you have?
I will dig it out and check for you!
Lovely to have East Head all to yourself. 👍
It is a treat! one of my favourite places on earth !
Another great episode 👏👏
Hi Ed, well done for jumping aboard, it makes so much sense where you live instead of paying mad rents. Just an idea for a future video, I've seen you pick up a mooring ball and tie a couple of knots, even the not knot knot. Maybe you could drill down into the - how exactly I did that - side of things? I know I would love to know what you did with that anchor knot (not). It's just an idea but keep on keeping on with what your doing. So far, I'm hooked.
Hey! Absolutely, thank you for the feedback! I will lean into this in the future videos and try and share some of my solo sail tips! :)
Love your style of channel - relaxed and intriguing!
thanks so much! welcome!
