@@tensprettyI agree. I say this all the time. Let people complain regardless if someone has it worse. This is why people who commit Suicide suffer in silence because people say things like this.
I have never seen anything like this. My brain isn’t processing the “torn” looking edges on her poor cheeks. It looks like liquid latex pulled off. That must’ve been insane to her to go thru. She’s so beautiful regardless- but that still is horrible to go through 😢
And this pisses me off because many tiktokers will put latex on their face and will start to peel it off in front of their boyfriend as a prank but we have girls like her who actually suffers from such skin condition.
When I saw the photo of the "explosion", it took my breath away. I feel so badly for her, not just the appearance, but the pain. I can completely understand how she would not want to go out. It almost looks like bad special effects makeup peeling off. The "gangrenosum" part of the name really describes what happens, gangrenous reaction from her own body, instead of from an external disease. I would think it so much harder to manage when your body is attacking itself so aggressively. Dr Emma is so great and empathetic
I also have pyoderma gangrenosum! Mine began on one inner calf, but spread to both legs, one foot, my breasts and one eyebrow. In my case, it was triggered by Crohn's disease. I don't think the patient or doctor mentioned it in this video, but PG is one of the most painful skin disorders in the world. I was extremely lucky that an online friend recognized pictures of my lesions as being very similar to her husband's PG, and I got referred to specific doctors who were able to help (I've been on Humira for 2 years). I hope this young woman has continued healing both physically and emotionally.
Yup, mine started on a toe, then popped up all over my lower legs, with a few spots on my thighs as well. I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), which is an autoinflammatory skin disease, so that's why the PG started I suppose. Pain on pain on pain 24/7. Ridiculous.
I would try an aggressive elimination diet, like Mikayla Peterson, do beef and water only for 90-120 days and see if it begins to heal. Very slowly add other foods in.

There’s more and more evidence coming out that diabetes may be autoimmune and connected to other autoimmune disorders. And most recently, fibromyalgia has been shown as an autoimmune disorder.

Sending lots of healing light and love to this beautiful young lady 💖
She is so beautiful !!! I am so happy she has relief and progress. I wish they stated her treatment plan out of curiosity. I have psoriatic arthritis and i take med to shut down some of the immune system to help heal the skin challenges.
It seems like Dr. Emma can work miracles!
I’m sorry that you have to deal with this. I hope Dr. Emma can help you.
