@@andrewmarcdavid Sure, he was uninformed, but it's not professional to go off insulting and name calling him. Ironically, you're the one "looking stupid" with that reaction. You're the reviewer and supposed professional; explain his error and be better. You could instead have answered why you didn't include a battery life comparison of the latest competitive MacBook.
I'm not a regular watcher nor subscriber, but based off this interaction I'm inclined to watch reviews elsewhere.

The Snapdragon and Intel version each has it's advantages and disadvantages. Choose the 9345 Snapdragon version if you want off the charts battery life and low fan noise and the 9340 Intel version if you want compatibility and better graphics but with a shorter battery life and more fan noise. The lack of available ports on both versions of the 2024 Dell XPS 13 as well as any dongles in the box is a definite bummer! Thank you once again Andrew for your stellar review!! 👍😁

thanks sir, for this one, this solves a lot of doubts about the machinery, and you greatly bring out the most important critique out of them, the one that nobody has been talking about till now, that is practical usage experience, the points you touch about the haptics, the touchpad and very particularly the capacitive row, some like the look, some don't but you said it "it works.." and that thing does it.

Nice devices, but I'll keep my Microsoft Surface Laptop 7. Waiting to see someone offer a 2-in-1 configured with the Snapdragon SoC (Other than the Microsoft Surface Pro). May also wait to see if a 2-in-1 sporting the new AMD Zen 5 becomes available. Imagine a 3K Lenovo Yoga, 2-in-1, with stylus and an 84-100 snapdragon and 70Wh battery. That would be something to see.

My biggest concern is testing my trading software which is traditionally needs x86 ( reason Im leaving mac) Tradingview Desktop, Quantower (tested, no issues), ninjatrader is in progress.

Hi Andrew! Thanks for the in-depth reviews as always. I'm currently trying to decide between the Dell XPS 2024 models with the Snapdragon and Intel processors, specifically for heavy Excel usage. Excel is critical for my work, especially with large datasets and complex formulas, so processing speed and efficiency are key. Could you possibly share some insights or even a demo on how these two devices compare in handling intensive Excel tasks? It would be incredibly helpful in making my decision. Keep up the great work!

My conclusion regarding the graphics chip was that it is pretty similar to the Arc graphics when it's native. Which makes me hopeful that it will be good on that front soon too - assuming these Arm processors sell well and most developers make native Arm versions of most software.

Both run Power BI, Python, Excel, and Power Point presentations for the private sector. The Intel version can run all X86 software without problems and better for photo/video editing, especially with the OLED model & 100% DCI-P3 score. The Snapdragon X Elite version has far better battery life for those that travel (flights & trains) for work/leisure, better CPU for programming, and faster RAM.
Unfortunately, both are horrible for ports. However, a lightweight dongle can compensate for $20. A $20 dongle usually include an HDMI 2.0 port, 2 or 3 Type A ports (5Gb/s data transfer speed), and a SD card reader. For those that want to use a wireless mouse at work or home, those dongles with a Type A port are essential. Also, the HDMI 2.0 port is helpful if you want a monitor at home with 4k 60hz display. The SD card reader for professional photographers.
