@@benchallenger7421 yup. Officially no. But unofficially there’s a way to bypass it. Saw some simple trick on the net to fool the gt3 to get the ecg to work. Believe the so called hack could work on watch 3 with ecg.
they'll launch in Europe also in a few days if I'm not wrong, just received an email from Huawei saying that they'll release a smartwatch with EKG that's from the watch pro series
This is a very cool Update yes, but im waiting so hard for Suppoting Pictures in Messages and Voice Messages on the Watch 3/Watch 3 Pro and GT 3/ GT3 Pro and of cause that you can not only hear Voice Messages on the Watch also you can answer with Voice Messages direktly from the Watch too.
I am very satisfied with the huawei watch 3 pro, unbeatable quality, but I am from the Czech Republic or in Europe, if you don't know where the Czech Republic is, but the update is still nowhere, but otherwise I am satisfied and I would also appreciate an update where it will be possible to start a conversation or a better selection of music because there are not many songs. Hi! I live in Croatia and I am not so satisfied with the Huawei watch 3 Pro. Quality is ok, but software is bad. I can not calibrate altimeter and for this matter I am always under the sea when I stand 1 m above sea level. Altitude and barometer sight all time straight line. There is no graphic diagram.
Same in UK no version 3 I am still on the summer update 2 1 239 I think. Searched etc. and see nothing on when others will get version 3, if any one knows? May try Huawei chat or something. I have checked on watch and connected pixel 4a via health app but says currently up to date :(
@@milivojfilipovic9974 agree with you, I had GT2 and you could calibrate altimeter. It was way more smoother. On Watch 3 Pro when I switch from watch face to custom tiles (to bpm graph) it takes up to 5 seconds to refresh the graph. NFC is useless, I don't find Wifi as a big advantage, and battery life is shorter than on GT2. And there is a weird bug, if you use a watch face which has a widget to show your sleep time, it will show you for example 7.5h instead of 7.30h. On GT2 it shows your real sleep time, and it was easier to find a watchface (at least for me). Pozdrav
I just recently purchased a GT3 pro and came across your video. Very happy to do so, but here’s the thing, when I go on the sleep mode app, just like you’re showing on your video, I get information how long I have slipped and how many maps I have taken if I have taken any. But I get no information as what was showing on your watch on the video. But when I do sleep at night my watch automatically goes into sleep mode, but I cannot find where you can turn it on or turn it off.

Sleep mod it was active on my wach even when i got the wac last year , i can't control it but soon as a fal a sleep the wach automatically enters in the mode , now its better if it can be controlled .
Im still looking for option to strart separate stopwatch during sport activity...this would be very usefull function for me, hopefully they will implemented soon
Finally got v3 on my Watch 3 Pro. I'm not impressed, I would even say that I'm disappointed. This watch has so much potential which hasn't been used. No diving mode in v3. Still no possibility to calibrate altitute and pressure. I don't like how the tiles aka widgets for bpm, spO2 and temp look like.
Need your advice deciding between buying a huawei gt runner and saving money or buying the samsung galaxy 5 pro. The main issue I have with the gt runner is the lack of play store and an abundance of apps. This will be my first smart watch and I'll be a casual user and I'll mainly use it during exercise and listening to other things outside of the gym. Is it worth to spend the extra cash to get the galaxy 5 pro? Is the app handicap for huawei that bad or am I over estimating it
The GT Runner is great watch but Huawei software is still a bit incomplete and lack great apps. The Galaxy Watch 5 pro on the other hand is not pretty looking but the software(WearOS) is phenomenal and has lots of great apps but the battery( mostly 2 days) can’t match up the great battery life of Huawei GT runner. So if you can afford the price tag of the Galaxy watch 5 Pro and don’t mine the basic look of it then i will say go for it.

Considering that the watch3pro has the same waterproof rating as the GT3pro, then why does the watch3pro doesnt come with pre-installed freediving mode? And how to install it? Hey man, the free driving mode is only available on the GT3 pro and can't be download on the Watch 3 pro. You might probably find a third party free diving app in the Huawei app gallery. For straps you should check AliExpress there are lots of cheaper silicone straps there.

This will never be a daily charge device, i have AOD constantly on, all the sensors, bright screen and with sleep mode on during the night i get 5-6 days out of it.
Hey man, the battery is still great even with this update. I'm still getting 4 days of battery life even with AOD turn on, received lots of notifications and calls.
I hope it is, as I'm a GT3 user and there haven't been any updates for a long while now. But I'd recommend Watch 3 over GT 3, however it's your decision. Just that I regret buying it.

I'm in South Africa. My watch 3 doesn't want to connect to my P40 pro. I've tried everything. It does connect to my Samsung S20 plus, and I've tried with these new Huawei and it connects. Just not with the P40 pro. Could it be a Software issue coz I have realized that P40 pro doesn't have all the latest software updates compared to more recent Huawei phones.
I don't think it's a software issue because I have connected the watch to much older smartphones like Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 7 and its work. Probably there is something you are not doing right. Have you try resetting the watch or delete the Huawei app and reinstalling it or scan the QR code to take you to a much newer Huawei health app.
This is connected to a non-Huawei phone? Because if it is and Huawei starts rolling out updates on being able to answer calls too, well that's it for Sammy watches

Hey man, when you receive calls from those apps(Line WhatsApp etc), the watch rings and shows you who is the caller but you can’t pick the calls from the watch.
I bought watch 3 Pro the used one. Looks like new and half of the price. I do own Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. For sport i use Suunto 9 Baro. I love Watch 3 Pro because of the design. However the apps ummmphhh..

You have to wait for the update. I believe you will receive it soon because Huawei is rolling out the update to all Watch 3 and 3 pro. I received it this early because I'm here in Asia.

Hey man, I try it with my IPhone s7 and I couldn't reply WhatsApp messages and other third-party apps, I could only reply sms. I would recommend connecting the watch to an Android smartphone if you want to enjoy all those features.
@@egokhanturkmy understanding is, gt series are more of a lean design, specifically tailored to health, sports and basic notification. Watch 3 and 3 pro are smart watches. The watch 3 & 3 pro series have much bigger ram. 2gb to be exact and able to run complex apps when you throw at it including text input. Gt 3 series I remember have 32mb of ram, which is 0.032gb. Way less capable than its elder sibling. This is why despite watch 3 pro is old, it is value sell price is still higher than its younger brother gt 3 pro.
@@egokhanturk what Huawei is trying to achieve is a lower hardware spec and more emphasis on premium quality material while keeping the price affordable. GT3 pro comes with sapphire glass and titanium housing. Nothing in the market looks and feels as elegant and premium as this. I’m sure the designers were well aware watch 3 pro users don’t necessarily use the Wi-Fi and cellular option often. Maybe this is the reason why gt series omitted such features. Additionally they may have figure out having killer spec won’t bring much merit since newer android os and iOS restricts bespoke features to their own proprietary watch os.
Hi mate, my GT3 pro has the same issue as yours. No text reply, no superlink and some other features that are available on my Watch 3 pro. I don't understand why.
HarmonyOS 3 is being rolled out for Watch 3 first , still gradually. So for GT 3 owners like you and me, will have to wait even longer :( Hopefully when it arrives, it will also have the reply feature like the Watch 3.

Got the harmony OS 3 update on my Watch gt 3 pro today. There is no Superlink and no option to type your own message on a keyboard for replying to a message... Bullshit
I'm loving the case and overall look & finish, a friend bought one on eBay for way too much if I ask me, the price and software limitations are very real. The New Watch 3 pro with ECG is only available in China and I don't think it will ever be release worldwide. The watch 4 pro might be the one with ECG that will be available worldwide.
Jaja no bro, the chipsets of all gt2 models are not capable to run the new harmony os :( only for watch 3 and 3 pro, and a version "harmony lite os" for the gt3 models

really disappointed about slow updates, no monthly updates as Sammy provides...And the bad thing is that you can't find a watch that's looking like Huawei watch 3 pro, Sammy looks like a toy, Pixel watch it's a joke , and the rest doesn't even matter

For the benefit of other viewers, the watch 3 pro in China has a newer version which comes preloaded with Harmony 3 and ECG just like the gt3 pro.
But the new Watch 3 pro is only available in China.

Replying messages will be possible only when the watch receives HarmonyOS 3 update but as of right now(running HarmonyOS 2.1) that's not possible.

when i put the watch3 pro on power save mode....it is auto connected with mobile....how can avoid it ? because the setting for bluetooth is disappeared on watch

You have to wait for the update. I believe you will receive it soon because Huawei is rolling out the update to all Watch 3 and 3 pro. I received it this early because I'm here in Asia.

Hey man, I try it with my IPhone s7 and I couldn't reply WhatsApp messages and other third-party apps, I could only reply sms. I would recommend connecting the watch to an Android smartphone if you want to enjoy all those features.

This is the Watch 3 Pro and it has 1.5GB of ram. The GT3 Pro is the one that has 32mb and from my experience everything is good 👍🏽

@@egokhanturkmy understanding is, gt series are more of a lean design, specifically tailored to health, sports and basic notification. Watch 3 and 3 pro are smart watches. The watch 3 & 3 pro series have much bigger ram. 2gb to be exact and able to run complex apps when you throw at it including text input. Gt 3 series I remember have 32mb of ram, which is 0.032gb. Way less capable than its elder sibling. This is why despite watch 3 pro is old, it is value sell price is still higher than its younger brother gt 3 pro.

@@egokhanturk what Huawei is trying to achieve is a lower hardware spec and more emphasis on premium quality material while keeping the price affordable. GT3 pro comes with sapphire glass and titanium housing. Nothing in the market looks and feels as elegant and premium as this. I’m sure the designers were well aware watch 3 pro users don’t necessarily use the Wi-Fi and cellular option often. Maybe this is the reason why gt series omitted such features. Additionally they may have figure out having killer spec won’t bring much merit since newer android os and iOS restricts bespoke features to their own proprietary watch os.

HarmonyOS 3 is being rolled out for Watch 3 first , still gradually.
So for GT 3 owners like you and me, will have to wait even longer :( Hopefully when it arrives, it will also have the reply feature like the Watch 3.

Got the harmony OS 3 update on my Watch gt 3 pro today. There is no Superlink and no option to type your own message on a keyboard for replying to a message... Bullshit

The New Watch 3 pro with ECG is only available in China and I don't think it will ever be release worldwide. The watch 4 pro might be the one with ECG that will be available worldwide.
I updated to that last week.. no message notif.

You gotta Enable notifications in the Huawei Health app. Go to the app then slide down to Notifications then turn ON Notifications.
