As a teen with dwarfism, I can relate to this alot. Half my family is below average height and I get picked on. I have this kid at my school who can pick me up and throw me like a basketball with almost no problem.

you can also use chairs and shelves. they are a short persons best friend believe me
My creative solution to reaching high up things is a homemade staff I spent a unreasonable amount of time creating
And then one of my tall friends welded a steel version of my staff so I use it now :3 I have to store kitchen stuff lower down tho

As someone who grew up being the shortest in any room, and am now about average height, I genuinely cannot get used to people who are significantly shorter than me because it legitimately is so shocking. But I have been on the other side of that coin, so I stay quiet about it as much as possible, at least in person. I get that it is a bit of an "I am aware" for the short person but for the relatively tall person it is very much a novelty
I was always huge.
So yeah, I feel you on the tall person thing.
And I've made it a thing to almost never reply early, because I have awful timing and half the time forget when a comment was posted.

The worst thing about this is that we never see what happens when the "loading bar" gets fully loaded

I’m 5’3 in a family of giants (father is 6’3, mother is 5’7, brother is 6’3, ect.) and I’m most likely not going to grow any taller considering I’m getting somewhat close to 17 years old now, so I found many of these pretty relatable. Love these

Relatable. As a shorty midget pants myself, I experience:
-People mistaking me for a lower year in school due to being short
-Inability to reach high areas without climbing and potentially getting hurt due to being short
-Being made fun of for being short
-Feeling uncomfortable near crowds of people who are not short due to being short
-Feeling odd whenever a person who is older than me is shorter than me or is not much taller than me due to being short

Today I learned you shouldn’t yell at children for being short. They can’t help it and their parents will get mad at you for breaking into their house at four in the morning. I also learned that taking the children to a secluded location away from the parents before yelling at them is also frowned upon.
One of the downsides of being short: You can not be seen easily when crossing the road. Increases likelyhood of getting hit by a car.

@bacon hair probs because the blood strem is shorter in the short people, which can make it really hard to exercise because your heart is already pulsating blud through the entire body already, thus reaches the conclusion: Short bodies make it harder to keep check on your weight. As someone on the opposite end of the height spectrum (5'9" at age 14), I seem to have the opposite problems. When trying to buy jeans, I always have to find the longs in the smallest size possible because I have a tiny waist but really long legs. Its so bad that only one store near by has longs in size 0, and even that just barely fits anymore. Also having people constantly ask if you play basketball or volleyball, even if they're complete strangers and you were just minding your own business. It also tends to be old people in my experience who think its ok to harass us about playing sports. Most of the time they don't give up after a simple "no" either. One time my mom got asked by a short old lady in a thrift store. She was tired of being starred at and asked all the time, so she asked the lady "do you play mini golf?" and something else I can't remember. The old lady shut up and was shook by what my mom said. I think that was the first time the lady heard it from the other side of it. Thats the kind of thing I want to do at some point later in life when getting asked if I play basketball.

I relate to the gym teacher calling me lazy to a painful extent. Despite being about 2/3 of everyone's heigh growing up i was still told I was lazy and to re-do the mile run because my time wasnt good enough. The injustice of it all never leaves you.
When I have to get things that are high up in the kitchen I get a stool and climb on top of the countertop. But, I also use my smallness to trick people.

...that reminds me of me playing hide and seek with my class back then when I was about ten years old. So we were doing a sleepover at school and we decided to play hide and seek before it's getting dark. They forgot me and almost left me alone .... outside the whole night... Well xD
A important skill short people could need is woodworking. You'd be surprised how much a saw and a lot of spite can fix. Lowering how high a coffee table is, making foldable stairs that allow you to get to the top shelf without assistance, *sawing a tall person's legs off, and permanently showing how many problems short people have to deal with cause no-one made custom sized furniture or extendo-arms.* or just to make a cool lookin wooden owl, the possebileties are limitless!

Mirrors seem to be made for dwarfs, I almost only see my neck downwards and being small leads to having more space in a plane or public transport.

I am lucky that I have about the same shoe size as my mom because then I can just borrow her shoes from time to time.
But it really sucks if you have large yet rather slim feet. So that the shoes I want to wear are either too wide on the sides or I would grow out of them too fast. On the other hand if I find a good pair of shoes then usually last about a year :)

Being tall is also a problem. There is constant fear a short person is out to get you, and also trees become a hell to deal with.
