    Wait. That radius gauge, that type is used for neck. To adjust the saddles, I think it is best to use the "under string" radius gauge. If you use a bridge radius on top of the strings like this video, the strings will not be the same distance from from the frets/neck because they have different thickness. The issue will be most apparent that the high E string will be farther away from the fret than the low E. Using an under-string gauge accounts for the different diameters of strings, and then you can also change string gauges without affecting the radius.

    I often file the bottom of the saddles instead of shimming. Might as well make it right permanently
