0.85 of Normal Consistancy is a standard value for water content to be mix for setting time test

Normal consitancy is water cement ratio in genral language,for initial seting time we mix 85% of normal consitancy ...It id prescribed formula supposed if normal consistency 30% then we writte water required for initial settings time = 85×30/100....So it's become 0.85×normal consistancy
