    Awesome board and great sounds; very nice and chilled comparison of two of my favourite pedals. 👍👍👏👏
    I love these lo-fi sounds and Gen Loss and Lossy complement each other very nice. 👌

    I had the Gen Loss Mk 2 and sold it. It did not sound right unless it was after a reverb or delay to me. I think it had to do with the way they attempted to get the analog dry through to work with this type of effect, which is pretty much impossible to do right, due to it taking time to process. That and I had a really hard time doing subtle. I even ran it through my HX Stomp so I could mix dry signal in however I wanted. I gave it a good 5 months, still couldnt bond with it. But I am sure some people will love it. I was much happier when I sold it and got a Strymon Dece. Just something for people than run across this to think about. Cheers.

      The chroma console does a great Genloss like sound as well! I wonder if you would like it more being completely digital! But yeah thanks for the comment man, always great to hear different perspectives!

    Fantastic board man, wow.. It's like what I want my board to be. Haha.. Been tempted to get the microcosm but honestly think I'd just use that mosaic setting all the time. They need to make a small pedal that just does that.. lol.
    Great sounds btw. They work surprisingly well together..

      Man! I really appreciate it!
      And yeah that Mosaic D should be a stand alone for sure!

      People spend decades building boards, and they are never done lol

      @@masterofreality230 yupp, me included. It always seems to feel like I'm about to be done tho.. then I'm not.

      @@13aphomet I actually am about done (I swear) lol I have a good analog drive section with a Morning Glory and Halberd v2 and a couple others going into an HX Stomp XL then in the loop of the HX I have a Volante going into a Ventris into a Deco v2. I really just want to add a Cali 76 CD to the front and Rat type pedal and I really think that will be it!

      @@masterofreality230 Right on! Sounds like a great board. I just got the Deco v2 myself. I'm running it as like 4th in chain, right after drives. Where you run yours?

      @@JackSole17 i got the hologram microcosm and the chroma on the way. Been looking at getting the lossy and gen loss mk2. Do they compliment well or are they redundant?

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@synthsamuraiproductionsI think they complement each other amazingly, a suggestion tho is that the chroma console has a very good Genloss sound, so use it for genloss and just get the lossy!
      Or get them both aha that’s a great option as well!

    You might consider the following, as constructive criticism: 1. the video might be too long for what it offers. 2. Focus should be on the sound, the gear and its uses, not about you personally (sounds harsh, but I don't know which other way to say it).

    • @JackSole17
      @JackSole17  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The things that you point out are actually intentional, 1. I want the videos to seem relaxed. and 2. I made the channel to share my personal opinion on guitar gear! and on TH-cam, it's all about building a community of people who like the videos you create, not trying to make every individual viewer happy! Your comment is just your opinion of what the video could have looked like, and that's why it's cool that you can create a channel and make a video however you want to! I hope this perspective helps!
