    you can use velcro dots or strip to keep the battery holder in place

    I will have to try that! You could probably use double sided tape for the fairy lights :)

    By far the easiest method for sublimating on glass. I have not had a failure yet :). Thank you for sharing. I was able to wrap the lights round the spacer and then secured the control to the back with hot glue.

    I've used really strong glue dots (Zots?), they hold the lights really well. Love this!

      Not sure if this would work but what about using some tiny pins and wrap the fairy lights around them?

    Fantastic, I have been looking for this type of sublimation. For the UK people, Hobbycraft is the best place to get the Shadow Box's, they do all sizes

    Only thing I have a question about is that my laminate is a little wavy..i.e. not completely flat on the glass…any way to avoid this in the future? Thanks for showing me a much more fun way to do a shadow box compared to the traditional card stock ones…

      Try to smooth it out the best you can. You can use windex to apply that will help smooth it out before it sticks to the glass. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you, I use 2 sided tape to hold the lights, I also use it to hold the battery pack to the back if it doesn't have the hanger to hold it.

  • @thecraftyboston
    @thecraftyboston ปีที่แล้ว

    Could use double sided tape to attached the lights. Also, where did you purchase the taper dispenser???

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      You probably could use double sided tape if it was sticky enough. I purchased the tape dispenser from Amazon amzn.to/3Rm0BMb

    Another question.. does the DTF transfer have to be UV or can a regular DTF be used for this process?

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      For glass you need UVDTF transfers. Thanks for watching!

    Hi there, what type of laminating sheets are you using? I know you mentioned the brand doesn’t matter but are you using self adhesive laminating pouches or thermal? Thanks.

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are Thermal. This is what I used! amzn.to/47kthfa Thanks for watching!

    This is so pretty!!
    #1. What printer do you use for this?
    #2. What is the purpose of the laminating sheets?

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use a Epson F170 sublimation printer. The thermal laminating sheets allows us to sublimate our image to the glass. Thanks for watching!

    Nicely done and very pretty!
    Perhaps some strong double sided glue dots could be used in place of the tape.

    For a larger project, can the laminating sheets be pieced or should I get bigger laminating sheet? Thank you for sharing your technique!

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would be best to buy larger laminating pouches which are available on Amazon. If you piece two together you will have a line. Thanks for watching!

      Ok, now I have a question. I’ve printed my design on sub paper but all the black doesn’t print (which should’ve thought of) but how do you deal
      With that? Ie my cardinal faces are white instead of black

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mandylybeck5511 First make sure your printer is printing all colors by doing a print head check in the maintenance section of your printer. You can also print a purge sheet to see if you colors are all getting printed as they should be.
