- This was very easy to make and the possibilities are endless on what you can put in it. All the items I used I have bought recently at The Dollar Tree. Omg this is perfect!!..shadow boxes are so expensive I never thought to glue frames together that’s just genius!!!..

And the lights are a great touch, with effort , they can be worked into different positions .. Lol

FYI fellow penny pinchers… choose anything but the red and white batteries from the dollar store if you can. They leak… often. Blue ones are fine if your store has them.

Sharon Williams I've made a few shadow boxes out of the banks the DT had off and on and so many people wanted to make 1 but couldn't find the banks, so I've been racking my brain on another item I could use that most Dollar Trees would carry and that's when picture frames came to mind, then had to figure out how to get the depth..well this was the end result 😁 my brain needs a vacation lol

This is so pretty! I love the idea to make the shadow box out of frames. Very creative.
The decoration is adorable. Very creative. You only need 1 frame to make a shadow box. You can make the depth from thin wood, or strong cardboard (just make frame that fits in the part that glass sits on. Put the glass on first, then deep frame, and decorate and put on the back. Beautiful though!

bella Puchi. If u know the style. Or theme that parents are doing for baby room. Nursery. U can make one with those colors and style. Makes a great gift. Plus they can actually use it as well for room decoration. Or even family tree. Type. 3d tree. And have some type of charms or tags with names on branches. Can keep and add to it as ur family grows. Might have to use bigger frames. For that depending on size of family.

Love the idea of creating a box frame connecting multiple frames. Can diy so many different scenes such as a jungle with dollar tree animals toys or a doll house or simply a flower bouquet, very creative.

Another cool idea, if you have a printer at home, you can print any picture you want for the background. If you don't have photo paper, you can print the picture on the opposite side of the picture that came with the frames from the Dollar store

You are really becoming a nice scene builder. Did you ever work doing window dressing in a department store? It's a similar kind of thing on a bigger scale, of course. Once you get into making your own flowers and things like that some day, you will get into the zone and lose track of time doing these DIYs. Thanks for sharing!!!
No I never did window dressing but growing up my mom would help me do posters for school and she kinda rubbed off on me. I lost track of time today making this. Took me 2 hours and I almost forgot to pick Ava and Alex up from school. lol... Now I'm picking the glue off my nails and fingers
Sometimes, you can use nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol to get the glue off easier. If that doesn't work, you can try what's called witch hazel, but that's also a good astringent for your skin. :)
