I have Starlink. Before getting it when it was in betta almost 3 years ago, I was never able to stream anything. Never would have even thought of subscribing to Netflix. Now I can stream anything I want. It's been bullet proof for me.
Country Australia here - Starlink is cheap and the most reliable internet connection service I’ve ever used. Life changing for those of us living in the bush. 🇦🇺
Australia and the UK seem to be the only ones getting several Twisted Tales. Apparently on December first in Australia, Be Prepared comes out, where Scar sends Nala on a secret mission.
I live in the east Texas sticks and the only reliable internet is my phone's Hotspot. Starling has recently become available here and I've been thinking about getting it. I guess if it works in the Aussie bush land it ought to work here then haha
@@therealajnelson From rural California, I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. I used to have to use my hotspot all the time because my old satellite was so slow and laggy. I've had Starlink for a year and a half, and it's been amazing.
I have followed StarLink and was an early adopter. I won’t ever go back. I’m confident that thing will be much bigger than most understand. But I know their competition knows what’s going to happen.

The scary part is no off grid, no choice to not be part of society. So glad it helps, but it is a double edge sword. Robots, robot dogs, scary stuff. It is happening anyway, no matter what, but wow!
Life can be lived again without the need to carry a cell phone and be connected to the internet everywhere you go. social interaction with zombies walking or anywhere outside with there heads down sending text messages back and forth to someone else while trying to talk to them is a real ignorant behavior. an addiction that damages social capabilities only. We can learn again to think for ourselves and research the truth on our own instead of stupidly looking it up online .
I live in one of those rule areas you’re talking about pro in Florida where we had two hurricanes the last one we had a satellite from a different company the pole that was sitting on was knocked over and broke the satellite. We were without Internet for five weeks. Which is understandable, considering the devastation that was going on at the time and the cleanup, but dish when we called and told them what happened They said “we don’t do poles”. and after doing some research and talking with friends, we now have Starlink. So far so good.
But the only satellite internet to my knowledge (at least here in my area in Canada) with speeds as high and latency as low as Starlink, and without data cap.
As someone who lives in a rural area where my internet options have been limited, and has had Starlink for the past year and a half, I can say it has truly been a game changer in my life.
In all reality, this is a smart business move. Of course support will get backed by the governmental power. After all it is a “ I scratch your back, you scratch mine”situation thats how the world works
@carlosmora567 Amazon is coming out with a competing product, but it will likely suck for at least a couple of years and will always be 5 years behind Starlink. Hopefully it will at least be serviceable and compete on price.
This is huge depending on how much traffic the system can facilitate. At the same time, this has Antichrist vibes all over it. It makes me glad to no longer be a lad.
3:55 Frequencies that goes through walls have a lower capacity. There is a capacity limit with radio waves, so StarLink will likely not be common in dense populated location. But it will definitely give competition to bad service in those location.
I wonder if Elon did more for Trump’s reelection than we know. Elon seems to be Trump’s Consigliere since after the election …There were no stop counting in the middle of the night although PA was going to, but then started counting again after a Wisconsin dump. We’ll probably never know but the RNC was monitoring a lot more with teams of lawyers etc. vs. 2020.
Starlink would be great for my yacht except that I'd need a commercial licence, aimed and priced for multi-thousand passenger cruise ships. Without that its terms and conditions forbid changing country (when I might cover three or more in a day), let alone continent (it's only 8 miles from Europe to Africa!). $2k/month is a bit more than I wish to pay for TH-cam.
No as someone who works in broadband industry Star link will not take over the market. Fiber is way to fast and reliable, and so is Cable. Wireless tech will never catch up and be as reliable as wired connections.
I've had Star link for 2 years. I wouldn't be able to watch you guys. I live in the Middle of Australia. Star link is brilliant. I get better internet than people in the Cities. Downloads are around 200mps, It takes far longer to upload, around 40mps. However it only cost me 200 dollars for the dish and they came and installed it and it costs me 130 Australian Dollars or $84 us dollars a month for unlimited internet. I have ZERO complaints. Plus, It completely runs on by My Solar Panels and battery, Again that is Musk. A Musk Battery and solar, No Bills! Lucky the sun is out everyday and it barely rains.
I’m one of those wild Van life ladies who travels around the US, including areas where there’s no cell coverage. I’ve been thinking about getting StarLink because it’s kind of scary to have no contact with the world.
Going to have to disagree when it comes to Musk and space exporation. He has done nothing when it comes to actually exploring space and he isn't going to either. And so that people know, the landing rocket is not new tech developed by Space X. Its old old tech from the 90s by NASA, what Musk is doing is taking old tech and refining it for comercial use. Wich is how its done.
It’s more so that the impact of Trump’s win will be very widespread across all industries, including the entertainment industry which Pro normally covers. I’m tired of the orange man coverage too, but chances are that will blow over in a few weeks.

They still are trying, NC rep Wiley Nickel is proposing a shadow cabinet in opposition to the executive cabinet
