  • Quick demo of the DR Power Trimmer Mower in action. I have a ton of brush and out of control berry bushes that have to be trimmed every year. This is my go to tool for that when we can't get the riding mower to do the work due to the stumps, ridges, etc.
I do not work for the company, nor am I sponsored by them. This just happens to be one of my favorite tools in the barn for heavy duty lawn work!

Thanks for the video but it's always a good idea to brush the grass of your breather area. Makes for a cooler engine.

Nice. Our new Premier model arrived yesterday. We have one of the larger DR Brush Mowers but my wife wanted something smaller and easier to handle. Before that we had the old Bachtold style DR Brush mower and used it initially clear our land of brush. From my research on which one of these to purchase, it's important to know how to adjust the trimmer head belt tension as a loose belt can cause low power at the head or even cause the head not to spin.

Have 2 as well; one we bought had a Kawasaki engine the later one a Briggs & Stratton. These Dr’s have saved a lot of time & money & are definitely worth their price. We did get the self propelled model which has variable speed and the trimmer moves !

We have had one of these on the farm for twenty years or so, it's getting a bit tired and was needing parts thrown at it every year for the carburetor so i ordered my new one. Can't wait to get it going as it helps keep my yard trimmed in case of lightning fires which are a danger in the summer months inn Montana. With good maintenance I'm hoping the new one lasts as long as the old one!

Thank you for sharing the link to this video!...WOW..talk about a Brush Killer, this is one hell of a machine. I should be receiving mine in the next 2 or 3 days. I don’t have anything near as tough as thhose berry bushes on the acre here, only wild texas Weeds and grasses that is about 18 inches high. My Ryobi string trimmer did a great job on them last year.

Awesome, just ordered one. The regular weed whackers are much harder work. Looking forward to this..

This is the Premier version of the DR trimmer. Love it, one of our most used pieces of equipment. I also found out that DR is a Generac company, which they're known for good products and generators too.

Looks like he had on the super tough twisted cord, it's strong enough to cut a leg off

Fairly certain most all DR trimmers take up to the .175 twisted line, which should destroy most vegetation. I have a different brand walk behind that uses .155 line & it handles thick growth pretty well.
