  • The yearning to know God, is one of the deepest yearnings of the human heart. It is at the core of every religion, but many of those Religions are simply reiterating the transcripts of someone else’s divine experience. As grateful as we are to have those records of the masters who have come before us, what about the GOD that YOU KNOW in your HEART to be REAL?
    When you make contact with the Divine, then something really magical happens. Things clarify. You start to have a greater purpose to everything in your life. You know which team you are on. And you go all in for all life.
    Shawn Chester is one of the most disciplined warriors in the medicine world I have ever known. For anyone looking to follow the initiatic path of the spiritual warrior, to heal your trauma on the way to a higher purpose, check out what he is offering at thenativeguides.com/.

    This Ram Dass quote comes to mind as I listen to you Aubrey "The melodrama of fanaticism is a form of spiritual materialism: you make spiritual life into something else to acquire, like a new car or television set (or new recruit for your 'army') Just do your practices; don't make a big deal out of them. The less you dramatize, the fewer obstacles you create. Romanticism on the spiritual path is just another attachment that will have to go sooner or later".

      Woe. Facts. That quote puts it all so succinctly. Although I am reminded of the words of Sri Rammana Marharshi… who said spiritual ambition is simple the stick we use to stoke the fire of devotion, and it gets burnt up in the process….

    Powerful. I'm appreciating this as a woman, as it's everything I'm experiencing right now. I've always been very feminine and this interview is helping me see how much I've been balancing my masculine side. Resonates very much and gives me hope to keep going as a warrior 💪🏻❤

    • @LTTPUK
      @LTTPUK 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He isn't balancing the masculine - he's promoting toxic masculinity with all the military language and fighting and not respecting the power of the feminine, or the feminine warrior.

  • @BeeBlot
    @BeeBlot 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

    Great conversation. And the feminine has a "dust yourself off" element, a warrior aspect just as the masculine has a nurturing side. These are important to discuss lest people get the idea that we're simply 2 dimensional beings.
    And on that topic, I've found that killing my demons did not purify me. But the practice of Chod did. This is an ancient Buddhist practice developed by a nun, wherein we invite our demons to tea and have an interview asking 1) what do you want? 2) what do you need? 3) how will you feel if you get what you need? Then dissolving into the essence of that feeling and feeding it to your demon. You do this until it shifts and becomes something else. Repeat until it becomes your ally. It's a form of integration.
    There's also the practice of Tonglen, similar to living kindness, except you breath in dark and breath out light, then as you breath in dark, you take in your troubles, then breath out light, then you do people you know with similar troubles, then people you don't like, then the world....
    These are perhaps more "feminine", but totally ferocious disciplines. 🙏

    But I've learned partaking in ceremony, at least after getting through and transmuting all these layers of darkness and trauma and releasing anything that wasn't mine, is that we take everything in life way too seriously. It doesn't always have to be something that we're trying to accomplish or something that we're trying to gain or something that we're trying to improve upon. More often than not it is simply to just be in the experience and relax and dissolve into the experience. My so "purging" became laughing the cosmic giggle and dancing! And when I learn to do that during ceremony it helps me to relax into my everyday life and not being so serious all the time trying so hard all the time to accomplish something or achieve something. Most of the damage has been done in our world is because we're always trying to accomplish things rather than just being here. And the God that I know the one who revealed himself to me during a moment of complete sobriety and outside of ceremony, and I say "himself" because it seemed to be a more masculine energy but a very compassionate masculinity, like a cosmic best friend or brother more so than a father, but still had this fatherly and motherly energy. That God showed me how much peace and joy and love is within us and that we don't need to do anything to achieve those because we already are those. We just need to accept the invitation to relax into our experience. Which is difficult because our ego wants to take the reigns and make us believe that we have to work for those things.

      Very true. We have been conditioned to perform like circus animals. And we need to break free from the chains and let go of any fear from the whip or perceived master. Coincidentally, towards the end of my last ceremony, exactly that happened, spontaneously, most of the participants got up and were dancing, singing along to the music. Only a few slept on, somehow! It was amazing!💞

    • @loboboho7841

      @@maverick6461 Amazing! Words can't even begin to touch what that feels like. And the best part is, when you have freed yourself, even for just a moment, words aren't even necessary. I remember during a ceremony I felt this urge to move and dance. And for a moment I resisted it... like "don't do that! Why are you dancing right now?". Almost like an aspect of me was going to judge me or make me feel bad about letting loose like that during ceremony. And then that's where the lesson for everything in life came in. I realized I had been resisting that dance for too long in my everyday life. So instead of asking "why am I dancing" it bacame "why not" and I let the energy move and dance through me. The struggle I have is integrating that and carrying that way of being through each and everyday. How has your experience with that been??

    • @maverick6461
      @maverick6461 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@loboboho7841 yes, I resonate with that too. It's probably something from what an adult said to you during your childhood. Exactly right though, do as you feel, so long as it's not interfering, interrupting anyone else. It's your journey! During my 5th ceremony, so still a novice, I was still heavy with the ayah, but had sat up. I saw someone dancing by the musicians and I thought, how can they be standing up, let alone dancing! Now I know how. 😜

    Wow, 10 minutes in and here I am 🤣. I have been trying to figure out what The meaning of don't turn around is. I have been receiving the message spiruitally for some years now. Then I saw a turnaround cleaning means to deep clean a house for new occupants. All the trauma has weaponized me. To be sure that the trespassing that only escalates in nature will not happen again without dire consequences. Through all this I have learned of traumas I carried from other incarnations, but the ones that I experienced this time, I now recognize the energies leading up to where I could conciously choose to decline. Can't do that if you are so fresh and so clean clean. It's obvious to me that having been through so much shit comes with abilities, wisdom, gifts, power, perspective,. That these forces want to have control over, without having done the dirty work. They know things and set up and line up situations for moves that put them in line for the drivers seat, or other harvesting opportunity.

    I've used psychedelics twice, and I don't see a need to use them any more. When I hear someone say they've used ayahuasca hundreds of times, it catches me off guard. Everyone has a different journey, but I really believe you shouldn't become dependent on these drugs for connecting to the higher power, or even for happiness. It's definitely worth giving yourself a regular hiatus because when you return, the effects are that much more profound.
    One of the biggest things that occurred to me after coming upon my spiritual awakening was a lack of dependence on drugs. I no longer need the dopamine boosts to keep the "demons" at bay. I use marijuana now as an occasional tool, and it get a lot more out of it now than i ever have when i was abusing it.

      I think you might be missing the point--there are forces one may encounter in transpersonal consciousness that are NOT you and will actively try to prevent you from achieving your goals, whatever they may be. You have to learn to impose your will on those situations. Sure, at the ULTIMATE level all is one, but down here, just chanting "all is one all is one" in the face of oppression will get you nothing but crushed.

      There is a lot of nuance to this topic...and in many ways is a discussion as to what chakra you are primarily operating out of...engaging (battling)with darkness, imo learned from experience, is falling into a trap and you are just going to have a degrading battle...this is what some 'things' actually feed off of...give it a whirl and see how many rabbit holes you go down and what your state of attention is like...yes, there are forces out there that are not you and the first step is merely discriminating that, oftentimes that is enough to keep on moving without bondage...and yes, sure, there is a time and place for exercising the will...another facet is in the wisdom that the secret to changing is just by doing something different (brighter, better, healthier)" this can not only be applied personally but to the collective. The most powerful/effective position is to truly realize there is no separation and there is no you( little y)..that cuts through it all.
      This video cuts right to the heart of this discussion and I feel what the first commentor is saying:

    I feel so much that you are are speaking to me straight through spirit, it’s lonely and I’m grateful that your fighting for us that are struggling to find our way and the courage to continue without giving up. Staying on the bean is a tricky and slippery sloop without the resources to into one purpose. This has helped give me hope.

    This world is so unfamiliar to me of the mystics or new age spiritual (forgive my ignorance), this is the second podcast I have heard and the emotion of Gods love that is so so attainable in whatever form or relationship that is personal to you that came through this mans journey was so so beautiful even in the storm and to where he is now with his experience and work is just amazing and reminds me of that supernatural courage and unconditional love thats there for the taking if we want it...Nga mihi aroha from NZ

    brother, that opening prayer was rockstar. thank you. that was powerful. i also appreciate that you dont act like you know everything. especially what we are supposed to be doing and our purpose. i also am a warrior. i will do whatever the divine desires. for several years i have patiently been impatient so looking forward to the next download, breakthrough or other awesome gifts. now im so glad that it is being perfectly timed exactly tailored to teach me in a way that it causes deep change and new understanding. we still all are just in the infancy stage of this awakening. we are about to get our minds blown. im getting levitation and fucking lazer beams that can shoot our my eyes. if the trees can wave hello. then i can get lazer beams.

    I belive im dealing with the same bird entity that shawn is iv seen it in physical form as well. There are so many others that aren't able to see their enemy. I would love to hear more of his experience with that. I feel like i just kinda learned to live with it because i got so tired of the confusion and feeling like im just chasing my tail but hearing him say he had a simular experience has kind of lit that fire under my ass again.
    Thankyou !!

    Visualizing 2 spirals that overlap. If you clear out the space of what part of yourself experienced the hardships, that space is vacant and already the size of occupancy,. Navigating through this with vacancy is asking for trouble on repeat, because eventually you have a bus full of entities that outnumbered the captain.

    I've had similar experiences but torn between speaking about it or what I've taken from Abraham Hicks and not focus on the dark side of the stick but the light side and therefore it doesn't exist. I pray for peace light love and compassion every day and the patience for them to see it too.
    Id like to know/do more.

    45:44 There is no team light or dark. You being the virtue today can be the policeman 👮🏻‍♂️ of judgement tomorrow. The dark night of the soul is the recognition of even the smallest darkness in yourself , you refuse to recognize. And it will show up around you until you surrender to the recognition of that aspect. Non duality now.
