Parts Bin Volvo Cannondale Retro Mountain Bike Build

In this video I’ll be building this 90's Cannondale Mountain Bike purely from stuff that is just lying around in the parts bin. I won this bike on a popular auction site for £23, it was just for a parts donor really as it's way too big for me. I stripped it, took what I needed and then the frame has just been hung in the back garden doing nothing since. Over time, parts have accumulated and I decided to put together what might turn out to be an ok bike for a grand total of zero cost.

Nothing special this one but the frame has just been hung in the garden doing nothing. I thought I'd give it a cleanup, see what parts I have in the bin and try and make up an 'ok' bike for pretty much no cost. How do you think it turned out?

Yeah not on this one. I do that on rebuilds but this was stuff I had already hanging about so they were clean and ready to go. I’ll try and find a nice dirty bike for next time! 😊
