What a great, easy to follow video. If only this was available a few weeks ago it would have saved me a few headaches!! I have WSJT-X up and running on Linux Mint with my FT817ND and a MiniProSC also. I just need to find a way to sync my clock with the NTP servers. Nothing I try seems to work.

Just moved to Linux ( Windows yuk) However, I can communicate with FT-817ND and SignaLink but when I hit tune on Z817 it trips an IO-error. Have any ideas?

+John Hawk Hi John. First thing that comes to mind is baud rate. Make sure the bald rate on the 817 matches the 38400 for the z817.

Checked still at 38400, Stange critter, I'll track it down and let you know the fix. Thanks for the reply. Great content by the way. Side note do you have an X-108G? If so would you buy it again? A little more power would be nice at times.
