Spurs fan here, writing a comment through tear filled eyes. What a lovely thing for Eric to have met Kenny D and also having gone to the last game of the season. This sort of thing is what the clubs should be doing to connect with the fans, no matter what age. Much respect to L.F.C. and Nivea for their kindness. Rest in Peace old son.
And from a Manchester United fan, I thought this was absolutely brilliant and heartwarming, kenny dalglish is an absolute legend for sure and to me this is one of the best things about football, connecting people, it was great to see Eric beaming with delight, may he rest in peace
From a Man Utd fan, I have to say how deserving and what a top guy King Kenny is. Liverpool are a class team and he would have thoroughly enjoyed his day
I'm not a Liverpool fan but have been an admirer of both the club and in particular two men, Bill Shankley and Kenny Dalglish, above all, for their integrity, who would have thought from a lad originally from Buenos Aires and a lifelong Boca Juniors fan. Congratulation to Eric, may he rest in peace, wonderful to see this.
the end of that video just broke a heart i never knew i had, so pleased Eric got to meet Kenny and see the lads play on the final day of the season RIP Eric Y.N.W.A
Kenny Dalglish is a legend and among the icons of world football!! He was awesome for Celtic, Liverpool and Scotland especially against the "auld enemy"!! Oh ..how we miss those British Home Internationals!!

Fantastic!! A true gentleman Kenny, one of the greatest players of all time,RIP Eric, people like you make football the beautiful game, from a Celtic supporter 💚🍀
Rest in peace Bra Eric, I know your spirit is with our boys. I've been following the Reds for 50 years now from South Africa. My wish is to see them live before my dying day. Once a Red, always a Red.
I'm a 47 yo die hard Mufc since the early 80s & I can honestly say my favourite player of all time is Kenny Dalglish. Best player I ever seen & I know he went to every Hillsborough victims funeral. What a player What a man ..
From a Manchester united fan , this was wonderful yet sad but shows just why we all love football , R.I.P Eric , glad you had one final day to remember on you journey , well done kenny dalglish :)

Huge respect to Kenny Dalglish and Liverpool FC for that heartwarming act of kindness to that gentleman. Absolute class all round! Now where's that hanky as I've got something in my eye!
Reminded me of my old man who also passed away in june. We got to see Liverpool beat leeds 6-0 with my son. It is because of the older generations passion for Liverpool that so many millions are now Liverpool fans. At the match another old gentleman went out of his way to show us where our seats were and told us to use lift when the gane was over he told a steward to wait at full tine to guude us to the lift. I think villa do a vip ticket free every week hope Liverpool do the same. Liverpool fans make the club and so many support the club because of fathers/mothers and grandparents. RIP Paddy Quinlan and Eric YNWA
