Every NHS worker is a hero, especially after the pandemic and the hardships they had to endure, which included seeing their colleagues become their patients. Footballers are of course stars and entertain us, but people like Alex are the heroes that this country owes a huge debt of thanks to. They deserve much better treatment as well and much harsher punishment for anyone who gives them abuse.
How can you not love and appreciate LFC? They’ve been doing this kind of thing as part of their club culture since the time of Shankly. It’s beautiful to see it continuing in this way, and properly genuine too. Props to VVD, but more so to Alex for what he did, and to John for his sincere gratitude. A great story

As a German LFC fan it's fantastic to watch docus like that. Now you can understand what a great club LFC is and btw Virgil is a great personality. With Kloppo as a manager this club came back to the top, not only in football but as a great deal for the people at Merseyside.
