    Sick interview. Hage has got a fluidity to his game that is one of the best in the draft. Each movement is economical and he glides on the ice between opponents. He is a bit bow legged and reminds me of Gilbert Perrault, he's got a great vision, never looks down on the puck when it's on his stick. Watch out for Hage, he is going to be Kirby Dach calliber.

    Stop it with Michkov, MTL had good info on Michkov from Bobrov's connections in Russia, they knew what they were doing. Hugues said they were looking at how Vegas won the cup, they wanted a big complete R shot D.

    Same thing happened to me (many years ago) - flying into Chicago and diverted to Milwaukee. Took many hours but at least I wasn't taking a connecting flight.

    The reason Celebrini was under the radar was in part because there was no drama around where he would go. Unanimous first pick. The drama before and during the draft was who would go where for the rest of the first round. This year’s draft was particularly difficult to predict which made it very enjoyable.

    If he has Kucherov level talent, then three (maybe 4) GMs should be updating their collective resumes. PK Subban tried to bring some exposure to the game, but was vilified by the good ole boys. Crosby and McDavid are not giving much more than cliches and that's it.

      There is still a "russian" factor when dealing with players from russia...so it explains why Demidov fell a few spots. Montreal would have likely taken Lindstrom over Demidov; but in 5 years in a redraft, Demidov might turn into a top2 pick...time will tell !!!

    Chicago more or less did the same thing the Habs did last year. Passing on a potential Russian star for a stud d-man. Time will tell if either team has any regrets.

      @@beelzeebub1 true but they opted for some pretty good offensive talent. When a team has a definite need for an offensive weapon that's there for the taking but decide to take a d-man, it might end up being regrettable.

    Why is Demidov not refered to as a generational talent?
    Why is he not talked about as being better than Bedard?
    Its crazy to me how treat euro players.
    If Demidov has kucherov talent well thats generational talent way above anything Bedard can ever hope of achieving

    • @moviestoshare813
      @moviestoshare813 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They’ll be comparable.
      And it’s a fair point why Demidov isn’t being given more credit than he does.
      But I wouldn’t say Demidov is gonna be miles above Bedard.
      I think they both can put up 120pts in their best years.

    • @Elvetos
      @Elvetos หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@moviestoshare813 From what i saw last year, Bedard has been given all the best minutes to shine, He was playing all the powerplay of CHI, mostly offensive starts etc. Not many players in the NHL get this treatement and in Bedard's case he's to light and to fragile to sustain a long lasting career. IMO

    You would need so much netting so the puck doesn't destroy the screen… you could play a NBA game in the Sphere but a hockey game is not going to happen because if the screen gets destroyed it would bankrupt the nhl.

    Montreal got a really good player with Hage at 21st...but they would have probably taken Eiserman instead if available. Then it would have been seen as Montreal getting 2 amazing steals in the first round...and finding their two top6 players they needed !!!

      No chance Montreal would have drafted the guy who refers to himself in the third person and has to be motivated to play defense, all while saying he has a good two way game. He's exactly the profile they don't like.

    So Columbus Anaheim Chicago San Jose all missed Demidov?

    • @moviestoshare813
      @moviestoshare813 หลายเดือนก่อน

      San Jose got themselves a guy who’s an hybrid between
      Peak Jonathan Toews & Sidney Crosby.
      So you can justify that.
      Anaheim & Columbus got themselves two BIG BOYS
      who will probably BOTH be BEASTS come playoffs time.
      Chicago are the only ones who TRULY missed imo,
      bc I think Levshunov doesn’t have the Hockey IQ to become a star.
      But yeah POINTS WISE…
      Demidov will likely do better than all of them.
      Don’t forget….
      Cale Makar went FOURTH in his draft.
      So don’t act as if it’s IMPOSSIBLE
      that the best player available can be passed by a couple teams in the draft.

    Havs have eyes in SKA Moscow, they have scouted both players and preferred Demidov.

    Demidov is a play driver, Mitchkov is a Laine type only as good as the player passing him the puck.
