Hi 😃 If you buy this “preloaded” what exactly comes on it? Does it come with a near complete collection of Speccy games already on it?! (That would be cool as I’m a total noob when it comes to anything to do with downloading roms etc.😖😝) Thanks 😊
It comes with some free games if i remember right. All you need to do is copy the game files to the SD card. There are plenty of places to find Spectrum games.

Is there an option to slow down the tape loading to give an authentic experience if desired?
Not with this device. You could get a ARDUITAPE/CASDUINO/TZXDUINO device which is a tape loader and loads games at the original speed.
I got mine 4 days ago, its FAST, i mean FAST.
