@@ElvenPlotArmour Totally agree, I personally dislike the demonic factions as they, in my mind, don’t really “fit in” to the world or the battles. However now I want to definitely give the Lord of Change a go! Would also be hype to see a tier list for whatever faction you decide to play after the DLC drops! (If it’s not obvious by my PfP I’m preferable to Greenskins…)
Love these videos. I like to try to use every unit for something... It's what I like about the Total War series, even "obsolete" units can still be put to good use in garrisons.
I want to use screamers and flamers more often, I feel like I just stick with pink horrors and chaos warriors until tier 4 and 5 and always forget that I want to use the screamers and flamers. They are my favorite Tzeentch units
They have tremendous payoff but are very micro intensive with little room for error, lest the unit be banished. I'd say 1-2 unit of each in the early-mid game is well worth the cost and adds a tonne of new options.
I do think alot of players don't check total hp stat enough. they look to mutch to armor and maybe wardsave/physical resist. if you look at Nurgle you might think damn these units are nothing special, untill you realise they have 1.5x to 2x the hp of comparable units. combine that with the way the reworked healing works that is alot of hp to drag through
I agree completely with this sentiment. It's like tabletop rule changes, people who don't even play the game will lose their mind initially, but once played the overlooked elements of the game create a more sensible result. HP being overlooked is similar here, as well as the size and tightness of the formation. I do love the research grind for these vids and working out "What is this for? What am I missing and what are the conditions to make it work or fail?" Feel free to share some Nurgle knowledge in the Discord... I have a feeling he'll be requested next!
@@ElvenPlotArmour still heavil disagree on the bird though. tht unit is straight trash. tried it way to many times and cost cost benifit of that unit is 0. hes up there with the tzeench warshrine. cause it staes it's "fast" yet feels like its more often moving at 50 speed then 95. for the rest i can see myself mainly agreeing with your stances. nd the exalted flamers, i think even the regular flamers do the sniping of SEMs/ords way beter then the exalted. and him being more expensive and doesn't have a spreadsht i never use that thing. the flying flamers are straight up busted vs AI cause they don't know how to deal with them if you use your brain.
You love to say Magnus cult but it's pronounced "may-gus" and it's another word for a magician or sorcerer, and apparently one of the "3 wise men" from the nativity story was a magus so Tzeentch really is at work in all things.
Thanks for the great video. I will sub. I play and enjoy Vilitch but i still suck at the game. Any late game army suggestions please that are less micro taxing? And i struggle to kill tanky lords with him
Late game? Chosen - bring 3 with shields and maybe 8 with Halberds (unless your fighting serious ranged units) this is a great way to make a reactive formation with less micro. 3-4 soul grinders in front for artillery support, can put 3-4 Exalted Horrors behind to lower cost. This defensive hub means you can now focus on your Lords and a couple of Lords of Change to use casting as the primary damage dealer. A unit of Doomknights and Changebringers to flank can be key in reserve. Those are all some ideas depending what you're fighting. Tzeentch is far easier in the late game, but early game is very specialised and micro intensive!
It's Old French origin. Ironically, our hip enlightened pronunciation, while closer, is still wrong lol It's alright. I discovered I pronounce "magus" wrong after my last video 😂
I'd argue that Marauder Spearmen are worth getting early game. They line hold quite a bit better than blue horrors. I also quite like Tzeentch Calvary. Sure, they don't hit especially hard but you can get amazing value by abusing their barrier with cycle charging. I'd generally much rather have calvary than screamers for a field battle, but flying units are great for sniping key targets during a siege.
Not only does Kairos himself have the ability to solo armies in the mid game, but in the late game all of his best, highest tier units are S or A tier units. I said it before and I'll say it again: Kairos is THE strongest faction in the late game. An experienced player literally cannot be beaten with just Kairos, Blue Scribes, Aekold, a few Cultists/Iridescent Horrors, and ~10-12 Lords of Change.
good teir list, but, while i think its important to keep costs and the tier available in thought when making a tier list, i think you mightve gone too hard on considering tier available, so you ended up with weird things like flamers being above changebringers
I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers. Quality stuff.
I think the algo wants him to post more, he never gets recommended even though I watch everything. Good stuff EPA! Give us more if you can! :)
Your Empire tier list was fantastic, stoked to see what you think of Tzeentch’s roster as it is one I have not played much.
The Lord of Change has gone from a non-interest to a personal favorite. Difficult to learn but rewarding to master.

This is great! Been a while since I played Kairos. Thanks for helping me pick my next campaign. Excited to rescue Sarthorael
Good luck!

Just dropped a sub. Excellent explanation!
Appreciated! Thanks for watching.

Screamers are MVPs against dwarfs, they kill gyrocoters good
Screamers and Furies are really good for tying stuff up and I found that Screamers can tank a lot due to their animations unless they get surrounded
Your tier lists are great
5:25 "I answer everything". Okay wise guy, whats your pin number? ;)
Love this video btw, the first time finding your channel.
Haha cheers mate, welcome!
Thank you!
Cheers!
my favorite faction
and i absolutely suck at them
Sucking with Tzeentch is 'step 1' of playing Tzeentch. :)
Slaanesh is my favorite faction, and I still suck at them. So I understand how you feel.

Thanks for that mate. I'd assumed the pronunciation was like "magi" or "mage", but apparently not!

I'll see what I can do :)
EPA, do you ascend your generals to demonhood? By the way, excellent work!
Thanks mate. Yeah, I ascend them. I always run one of each lord and ascend them both because I like variety and ... well, it's awesome lol.
What I take away from this video is that it's not called melee attack/ defense but mallai attack/ defence
It's Old French origin. Ironically, our hip enlightened pronunciation, while closer, is still wrong lol

Nurgle please!
I think in tabletop warhammer the pinks spawned two blues when they died
Yeah, they must've cringed at the idea of a 20 unit army turning into a 40 unit army roasting people's PC's 😂

Do you know if you can recruit zarthoriel with the serrated legendary lords mod?
I do now. Thanks! :)
