A chicken is not a proper pet for Lyly. Give it to a safe farm. Btw, there should be water and feed put out for the chicken all the time… especially the water. Water available 24hrs a day. A puppy not too young or a kitten would be far better and much cleaner in the house.
Can't have a puppy Lyly is afraid of dogs.
Maybe she would be afraid of she started with a puppy that then grew up with her like Tommy did.

I am amazed how the cat hasn't harmed the chicken and the chicken doesn't seem to be scared of or bothered by the cat, or LyLy. Very sweet and loving chicken. Please don't let LyLy crab at the chicken and pull it's tail. She is going to hurt the chicken if you allow her to continue to hit, crab and drag it. The chicken is to docile and sweet for that.
