You know I love your family, I respect you mom a lot but I don't think it's a good idea to adopt a chicken, chickens poop a lot and everywhere Lyly will have a very dirty bed if the chicken goes there...please mom think about it...besides the chickens have a short lifespan...Lyly will suffer

Chickens can live up to 8-12 yrs old. They have a short egg laying span. Up to 3 yrs but sometimes longer.
Mom is pretty resourceful when it comes to making beds and such for her animal children.

Very beautiful, a lovely outfit, a little chicken and a lot of joy and most of all, an amazing baby girl.

Chickens need chicken mash, chicken pellets or chicken grain feed. Dried rice is not good for chickens. It will swell in the stomachs and cause gastric issues. Cook the rice first. Never feed it anything uncooked. Like rice or beans. And chickens need plenty of clean water to drink. And you will need a small chicken coop/ or large cage, a feeder and drinkerer and some bedding/pine shavings to keep it in unless you plan on letting it roam around on the other side by the water. And when it gets older for laying eggs, you will need a nesting box for it to go into to lay her eggs. Around 6 mths old. Unless it's a rooster.
