No way! I saw a video of you climbing the Eaglet last fall and it sparked my interest in climbing. Then after many months of training and lots of expensive gear, I finally climbed it with one of my best friends last Saturday it was my first time leading a multi pitch trad route and my second trad climb ever. I would highly recommend going up the right arete at the top of the third pitch the exposure was fantastic. I’m so thankful for all the wonderful people that this sport has introduced me to and I can’t believe it all started from watching you climb the eaglet. Thanks for all the content and inspiration Noah!
You are right, At some point in lead climbing you have to take yourself outta the pan and into the fire and do the set. It definitely takes courage to do it. But, with all of you there it had to feel epic for Bond to do it and have that support to guide the way up 👏👏. Was amazing to watch 🎉
What a sick accomplishment getting everyone up there. Bond is such a badass to lead that last pitch. Also did Jaidon climb barefoot the whole time? Lmao
I don't climb, I don't even watch climbing videos, and somehow I came to take a look after I saw a Shorts and watched all the way through and subscribed. Like someone said, production quality too high! Amazing Noah !
Have you ever heard of the alpine butterfly knot? It is better than a figure eight on a bight for having people in the middle of the rope as the alpine butterfly can be triloaded, and is just a tiny bit more safe
Hella sick spot. Looks amazing. What a beautiful day that would be. We have tons of climbing in CA, but I haven't seen anything that looks like that. I would be so happy to spend a few days out there...
Saw this video, realized it’s a 3 hour drive from me, and just climbed it yesterday. So epic! Absolutely insane taking 8 people up there lmao. Thanks Noah!
so I did this sometime in the early 90s, but I could swear we came up from the other side of the notch. we just had underhill spire pic and nothing really in the way of a guidebook. trail was adventurous IIRC, but it was cloudy and we couldn't see spire from notch. maybe 1 long pitch and 1 short to the top. don't remember any bolts/pitons other than maybe at the summit. I think the climb was rated maybe 5.6 at the time and looked intimidating from base, but it was really just stepping up on a couple ledges on the spire. our standard rack was a set of nuts and 3x gen1 camalots. probably placed 2 of them & slung a bunch of trees. i thought it was about 20% of a cannon route and too much technical dirt and too little climbing. but we may have been completely offroute! whole route was licheny and looked seldom done at the time. from your drone shots, looks like there might be a lot of quality climbing on the wall behind it.
Another awesome video! Trying to tackle Cannon cliff next time your in the Northeast hit me up?! Live in the area would love to meet up and do some climbing either way
I hate to be that person, but safety needs to be talked about. But the handling of the GriGris as at minute 7:18 is grossly negligent. No brake hand, the hand completely encloses the Grigri and thus completely suspends the safety mechanisms. And honestly, there is simply no reason not to use the belay device as intended. I fully agree with you that sometimes you have to consciously take risks, especially when climbing to experience beautiful things. But this situation, it is an unnecessary risk. Except on that: Really stunning mate. Love this climb.
Thanks for the comment Calvin. She hadn’t even clipped anything in at that point so just pulling slack through is all that’s needed not like a hand on the brake strand is gonna do much
I feel like if you have only 7 friends those are all actual friends, and the fact they all joined you speaks volumes. People have 20-30 "friends" these days but would struggle to get one of them on a mission like this. Cherish that, its rare.
7 people on top of a spire, someone who hasn’t touched a cam before leading the last of a 3 pitch route 200ft off the deck, and bro at 7:40 giving her so much the leader so much slack defeating the purpose of even having them in the grigri….this kind of dumb shit is why there are AAC accident reports.
Yes! Dive right into the deep end to learn how to swim. People are too soft, gymie, and scared nowadays. Love to see some are still rad enough to jump in feet first and not afraid to get wet. Btw great presentation, well done!
Amazing. I’m friends with Bond’s dad. We fish together. That’s enough excitement for me! Well done, kids.
Wow
Fascinated sir
Definitely one of my favorite videos you have made. Production quality has gone thru the roof! Keep up the good work!
Cheers Daniel!! Hope to keep upping it every time!

Thanks so much for this awesome comment Dan! Psyched to hear about your adventures

Nice to show people you do not have to do incredibly difficult routes to have an amazing adventure.
That's exactly what I'm talking about!
What a sick accomplishment getting everyone up there. Bond is such a badass to lead that last pitch. Also did Jaidon climb barefoot the whole time? Lmao
Right! and yeah he did climb the whole thing barefoot
@@NoahKane wow my toes could never! What a beast

Pretty amazing spot! I'm sure there are some way more amazing things in CA though!
Soooo underrated, can’t wait to see what’s next
Thanks Grant!

sick man. So cool to see something close to my neck of the woods. You're everywhere! I'm looking to do TWZ this winter too and I loved your EPC vid
Cheers dude! I'm excited to hear how your TWZ adventure goes!

Wonderful place.....
Amazing video. Very proud of my amazing niece Bond!
You should be! She crushed it
Girl at 12:52 is so cute 🥰
RIGHT!
Mountain climbers would be the best people to be with in a zombie apocalypse
call me when the time comes
I love how one of the guys is using a target bag to carry his stuff
haha right
God this is so well made!
Thanks Ethan!

This is awesome 👏🏾
Thanks Nyree!
Your Videos always inspire me to go more climbing
That's the idea!
„Will it even hold…“ is funny, considdering, the block on top probably weighs 20 times as much as all of you combined 😂
Amazing

What a good day. Great video.
THanks Yuliya!
Where are climbing at rumny over last weekend. Thought I saw someone that looked like you
Lol me 2 I thought I saw him at bonsai
Man. I would never be able to do this. But thanks for trying to share it with people who cannot actually do it ❤️
My pleasure!
Never knew of this climb when I lived out there. Cool video but… pretty drones aren’t allowed there (NH state park).
I didn't use a drone, just a 360 camera on a really long pole
Thank you for a pleasant pastime!
of course!
You should try the Northeast Ridge of the Pinnacle in Huntington's Ravine, Mt Washington.
It's a fun 7 pitches 900ft/273m 5.7/5a trad climb 🤙🏻🤙🏻
sounds fun!
So rad dude
Love this content and love seeing your friends featured.. was starting to think it was just you and the trees (jk)
Good story telling mate!
Thanks Levi!

Great video! Is the chimney too tight to wear a small backpack?
Yeah a little too tight
People wowed that he got 7 of his friends on the eaglet
*me wondering how the hell he has 7 friends*
Super sick vid! When you coming to Colorado?
Bro i'm here now
@@NoahKane Come to Colorado and climb independence with me and Jake Morton
Wow cool vid noah
thanks dude!
Super hero's brother and sister ❤
I'm normally good with heights, but 9:55 made my stomach drop.
When did you start climbing
My grandpa
Was a amazing free climber at 70
Cool
I would like to invent a a new thing a mix of rock climbing with cliff jumping, climb to the top then jump off
You might have to explain a bit more... you had me at JUMP...?
What is your camera?

Pretty fucked up to climb one of the most popular routes in New England with a party of 7.
We were the only ones there that day - only ones in the entire area infact
Mantap
Nice
wondering if they simul rapped with is so fun
Or will it fall over? Lol right. No one hops on a spire if there's a chance it will break😂😂😂
Haha ik - gotta build the tension for the youtube fam tho
Sounds like Jon Hopkins, what's the music please?
This looks sick, we gotta climb together sometime
For sure!
Really nice climb! I am intrigued by the barefoot climber? Why he does that? (Seriously the idea has been on my mind for a while).
Haha I have no idea! To feel the earth!
Lmao I live here
Oh my got very interesting I'm from india
