I don't comment much. But every time I do you do reply. That's amazing. You have one of the best TH-cam channels out there. This video came out a little late today. I found myself checking the feed more times then I would like to admit. Great content. Great style. Great attitude. Add sponsored products to the channel if you want. This is a business. You need to provide. I'll be here. Waiting for the next upload. See you next week.
Comments like this make me appreciate subscribers like you even more. Thanks for noticing that I was late with the upload. Thanks for all the continued support James!
Neil, I loved your shop tour. Thank you for sharing. When i briefly saw the garage door, i immediately wanted to know more. I was so happy to hear you talk about it at the end. That is very cool & and it touched me with tenderness knowing it's full meaning. You have two beautiful daughters, and i love when they have cameos in your videos. That is special. Dan 😊
Hey Dan. Comments like this are my favorite. Thanks so much for the kind words and finding appreciation for the little things like that that I put in my videos that mean a lot to me. The girls just made another addition to the door this past Father's Day and I can't believe how quickly they're filling it up.
This channel was a great find for me, so much of the content is relatable. It's great to see how someone else utilizes many of the same things and is willing to share them for all to see. The Firewood processing, heating with it, the older Deere L&G & compacts, Ford trucks, an endless array of home projects. Great video content that was presented with your attention to editing/ video quality. Please keep going with your same format and looking forward to what you share in 2022! All the best to you and your family from MN!
I am somewhat new to your fallowing. I am 65 and raised 3 wonderful children. They are all adults now. Built on, love, truth and use your blessing and talents to help others. Good or bad I am always blessed. Love your shop and your family. Just forced to retire and still love to work. Steel, wood, what ever the good lord will give me strength to do. YOU sir give me motivation and happiness with every video. I love shearing my knowledge with others. And learning new ways to get things done. Thank you so much. Terry Johnson. Friends call me TJ ❤
Hey TJ, I'm glad to have met you here in the comments! I appreciate the kind words and that you're willing to share some of your story with me as well. Thanks so much for checking out my videos and hopefully you can continue to find them enjoyable.
I know exactly why, given the time (and sometimes I do, health issues keeping me from my own massive Project List) binge anything that looks interesting that comes up on the sidebar with your channel logo: it's relatable, exceptionally well-produced, you obviously have a passion for it, but most of all, you are a genuine Good Neighbor kind of guy. By that, I mean you're wholesome yet infectious that I'm always curious to see what you're working on/sharing with your audience. I actually started listing what Good Neighbor really meant to me, but as a reformed author and you being a smart fellow, I'm sure you know what values are dying out in America that I love seeing on your channel. TLDR: don't change a thing! Consequently, there's a handful of channels I'm putting on a shortlist for our next product launch, and I'd be genuinely honored if I could add you to the list, but me being me, it won't release until it's as good as it can possibly be. It's one of those spin-off things that ended up being so interesting for the Million in 1 Uses kind of deal that it's taken over primary development around here. Anyway, I'm not looking for exposure unless it's earned, we're a small family company so I can't/won't shower you in freebies, but a pint sample can is very doable. Don't know if you've set up a PO Box yet, but it seems a common item that a lot of youtubers who accept freebies from subs or whatnot will offer up from time to time before they get too big and need to rent out a warehouse 😁 At risk of being extraordinarily long already, I wish you the best of future success and will enjoy your passion projects before this channel blows up. (Afterwards also, naturally, but with size you'll have to hire a PR person to monitor your comment section. The trivialities of being too good at something, eh?)
Well I appreciate this comment very much. Thanks for such a thoughtful take on things and yes; I feel as if I have a sense of what traits are dwindling in neighbors across America. That community pride and togetherness is still out there, we're just not t seeing enough of it. Thanks for the consideration of being included in your product launch. I am intrigued to know more for sure. I don't foresee my channel getting too big anytime soon, but I'll be glad to help out other small business owners in any way that I can. You can find me via snail mail at: PO. Box 137 Harlan, IN 46743 Thanks for the great comments and for following along with the silly stuff I record.
@@digdrivediy Can't guarantee when that may show up, we're still trying to figure out if it pertains to hazmat requirements even though it shouldn't, but if one day next spring a small can in a square box shows up with suspicious labels from Texas, give it a chance before calling the bomb squad. 😉 Long story shortish, I was working with a small team to fabricate stronger composite jet engine parts right before Covid hit and wiped out our project. I continued working on stuff at home and ended up with this spin-off product that every time I test it on something, I find a new use for it. It'll come with fairly thorough paperwork, but it's primarily designed as an additive for strengthening anything that can be mixed (concrete and 3d printing resin have responded phenomenally above expectations thus far) or painted, and as a side benefit, it doesn't corrode under extreme heat (just discovered it also reverses rust to a point last month!)
Iowa guy here, this is my favorite channel !! You and entire family are so inspiring and close not ❤ always a team effort. Video of shop door memories of your girls, teared my eyes, May you continue building a Beautiful farm, home, dreams, Ya All are a inspiration to all of us that take great pride in our farms. Iowa Friend, Brian Casebolt
What a touching comment. Thanks so much Brian. I really appreciate your support and viewership. My girls just added another addition to that door this past Father's Day. Take care!
I have the markings on the garage side door of my 4 kids hight as they grew up in our home. All on there own and married. About 37 years in thus place. Good memories love the garage door.
I don't comment on many videos on TH-cam and no other TH-cam channel besides yours have I watched every single video. My wife and two young boys watch your videos along with me every week. You do great work with all your projects and your videos and editing are great as well. I really like how you seem to highlight your family and show how important your wife and daughters are to you. You guys are a great team! Beautiful shop and homestead by the way. Your place and projects around your place have inspired and given me many ideas for own place while maintaining it and doing yard work on the 2.5 acre yard. I only have a 24x40 shop that tends to get very messy and unorganized during my small projects but also hope to do a better job of keeping it clean this year. Also hope to get it insulated in the future. Keep up the good work in 2022 as I know you will! Also don't worry about what viewers think about you promoting a product or using something in a video a manufacturer has sent for you to test. It's your channel so do what is best for you and your family. If it helps fund you putting out this great content I don't have a problem with it!
Thanks so much for the great comment Allen. I think the world of my wife and girls so that won't be hard to keep up moving forward. I appreciate viewers like you and all the support. Thanks for watching.
Neil, thank you for sharing your life story along with all the fascinating stories and projects you tackle! You truly are an inspiration to me! God bless you and your family ~ from a very loyal viewer George Pelaez
Regarding sponsors only you can make the choices, if you feel uncomfortable pushing a particular product for whatever reason, people will pick up on it. Heated shop, very nice.
I’ve been dipping into your channel more and more lately. I have a small property, with a small tractor & a decent shed. Thinking of an excavator (“digger” here in New Zealand), and off course a dump truck, neither of which I need. Anyway, I like your manner Neil. As many others have said, very relatable. Thanks for making your content for us. Cheers, Tom
Thanks so much Tom. I'm very humbled to have someone else watching from New Zealand. Hard to imagine for me really :) By the sounds of it, you and I would get along just fine! Good luck with all that stuff you don't need ; ) I think you'll find you won't know how you got along without them! Take care and thanks for watching!
Found your channel about 6 months ago? I really enjoy what you do, the garden tractors, diy, shop content, family life, it's all things I do myself and you do a great job of sharing it. I like that you don't put out videos just to make videos... it's always much better when there is a purpose. It gets old when other channels make videos that feel like there isn't a purpose other than getting people to click. As far as product advertisement goes, I don't mind it as long as it's not over the top. Keep doing what you've been doing, I always look forward to your new videos. I wish you well with '22.
That is great feedback. I feel the exact same way as I've watched a few others where I felt it was a bit forced. Personally I would rather have quality over quantity but unfortunately TH-cam rewards you more for the latter. I hope I can still sustain with just doing purposeful videos so I value your thoughts on that. Thanks a lot Keith and Happy New Year to you and yours!
Neil, loved the shop tour. I watched you on your episode with Tractor Tim with Tim and became a subscriber before the video ended. Your videos are entertaining, educational and often times inspiring. I know each video takes a lot of time and effort to create, edit and finalize. I want to thank you for making them. I look forward to them every week. I hope 2022 is a great year for you and your family.
Thanks so much Mike. I owe a big debt of gratitude to Tim and Christy for helping me get that exposure. I appreciate the kind words and for sticking around to watch more after the TTWT video. Happy New Year to you and yours!
I think you’re on the right track with sponsors. If it fits the channel, then by all means go for it. Give us your honest take on any products you do share. Thanks for the shop tour. Love the old toys.
Neil, Thanks for taking the time to do this year end wrap up, and soliciting feedback. Keep up with the content the way that you do and on a schedule that works for you. I enjoy the professional quality of your videos and how they are intertwined with family and your work situation. As a practicing agronomist, I have to say my favorite was your "Day Job" video! I always learn from your videos on how I can apply to what I want to do. Have a great 2022!
I love watching your channel. You are down to earth, honest and keep it simple so we mere mortals can understand 😊. AS to the sponsors and products, heck, why not. So long as your opinion of them is as honest as you usually are then it will benefit us all. One thing I would say though, keep time set aside for the family. Kids are fun and they will grow up all to quickly. Don't miss a second of their lives. Best of luck for 2022 to you and your family Neil, and to everyone on here too. Andy Sheffield, England
I like the Shop. I *love* the doors. All 3..... the driver's door off the demolition car, the door going into your Office from your parents' house, and the overhead door that Ella and Eva put their hand-work to. Cool stuff.
Your channel is 1 of 10 or so I have followed religiously the last year or so. We are cut from the same cloth and even have some of the same projects on the back burner. It’s great too see others with the same mindset and interests, sometimes that’s all that’s needed to help progress a project. Think we need a video of that jack rebuild/ repair! Lol
Neil, I found your channel maybe 1-2 weeks ago and have been watching your collection ever since. You are great on camera and have excellent editing skills. I am absolutely not opposed to any in video sponsorships. We all do what we have to do to. Everyone else does this, so it won't be unexpected to the average TH-cam viewer. Peace.
Thanks for the content on organization and the motivation to improve. I'm on a mission at end of this year to get much more organized. Please get a railing on that mezzanine! As I have gotten older I don't like slip and fall hazards. Blessings!
Neil thank you for all the work you put into your videos. I'm from Ireland and only discovered the channel today but have spent the day binge-watching your content and love it. Looking forward to your content throughout 2022!
I found many other uses for my shop at my house. My girls love to ride there bikes and play in it. Also it’s a place to hang out with friends. I like your videos keeping it real and give real life issues and successes.
Oh yes. My shop serves many uses other than working on things and I'm very thankful for it. Just a great place to hang out and ride scooters. Been known to play some catch in there too during the winter.
Hey guys! Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, that radio has some miles on it. I had to screw the CD lid closed cause it wouldn't stay latched but I didn't need that screw anymore :) Thanks for watching!
I enjoyed this video Neil. I always like to see into utility buildings & shop. Yours is quite personalized! And quite connected to your family and even your community. Thanks for a great start to my day.
Nice shop and it’s full. I like the history of drawings on the door. Sweet touch. Just keep doing what you’re doing. Take us along with your projects. “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. Thanks for sharing.
That's right! And thanks so much Bob for all your supportive comments. I'm very grateful to have dedicated viewers that seem to enjoy what I'm doing. Happy New year!
Thanks for the insights. Just bought 40 acres on the Calif/Oregon border and am figuring out this homesteading thing. Your channel has been a great help.
Neil you are a salt of the earth kind of person. I think your content is always interesting and your camera work/editing is excellent. Keep doing what you are doing and I know we will all enjoy being along for the ride!
6:20 I have a similar style filing cabinet that I store my power tools in too, it was a CL freebie! It's nice to keep tools out of plain view when the garage doors are open.
Thanks for the inside look of the shop. I personally appreciate all the effort and time you put into your videos and it’s a weekly highlight to watch them. I think products are great if you think they are good quality and useful. I’ve learned about many products from TH-camrs and has made my life better because of it. Keep the great content coming and let us know how we can continue to support you Neil!
I'm just now watching this video two years and some change later. Great info. And I noticed you like or comment on these old videos. I'm just commenting to ty and help the algorithm.
Neil, I just watched this. I watched your entire video series on the JD318 with my now 3yr old son. He’s a tractor fan for life, and I’m sure I’ll end up with one for him in the future. The videos are great. Keep up the good work
Neil i'll be honest i came for the boiler and fire wood videos but what ive gotten since has been helpful and you have always put out amazing content. thank you for an amazing 2nd half of 2021 for me but i cant wait to see what you have going on in 2022. the shop tour was amazing and love it all. if you have another meet up im gonna try and get there because you are such a genuine human as it shows thru your videos. as far as the sponsors i'd say keep doing as you have been cause we all like products that can be used and not be a waste of money!! with the hats, they would be a score with me as i wear a lot of different hats all the time!! thanks again
Hey Will! Thanks for the great comment and feedback. I'm glad you stuck around even for the non-firewood stuff. I just spent all week with a firewood processor so there is more of that to come! Hope you have a great 2022 and hopefully we'll see you in the comments!
Great Video Neil. I for one, have total trust in any products you say are good because you don't wear us out with a bunch of them, the Garage door made me smile, If you ever do leave that door goes with you for sure!!
Thanks Doug. Yep, I'm gonna look silly buying a new door to take an old one with me but I'm willing for sure! Thanks for being a great supporter of the channel! Happy New Year!
Well done, Neil. Nice tour and remembrances of 2021. My favorite was the go carts at Mike's house and your racing shots. Great family and planned projects. You film it and we will watch. Happy New Year and may 2022 bring health, wealth, and happiness. Thanks for sharing.
Such a humble video! Loved it. Awesome getting to know your history a bit. So glad i found your channel months back. Never disappointed!! Take care and be safe. Happy belated holidays to you and your family!
Gday from Australia!! Nice “Man Shed” as we call them here down-under! Not sure the heating system is something we need here but having an Air-conditioned shed would “spoil a man” for sure! Love what you do and thanks for sharing it with the world.
Another great video! Your humility definitely shows through! Product reviews are part of the process so keep evaluating because we trust your insight! Oh and thanks for helping Rob with my Christmas present! We intended to get over and watch the firewood processor in action but our project took longer than anticipated Take care my friend
Thanks for the tour Neil very interesting. I like your channel because you are so natural with it and show it just like it is. Try to watch your videos as soon as I can but time difference to here in UK means sometimes late but you always reply. Appreciate that you don't overpost and yes shorts would be good. Sponsors you seem to have right level and approach. Thank you so much for taking the time to show your world. Happy New year
Great video and merchandise is a great idea. I'm glad you're gonna continue to produce videos. Love to watch them and I'm always waiting for a video to post. Much love from Virginia.
Neil, I love your shop! It’s pretty sweet. I really enjoy watching your videos it instantly makes me happy watching you do your things. I hope to see some things with your garden tractors in 2022! If you reply, that would make my day, glad to see another video from you.
Neil first time commenter, longtime viewer. I truly look forward to your video’s and seeing the variety of projects you get involved in. Thanks for taking the time to take us(the camera) along. Can’t wait to see what you all get into in 2022. Thank you!!
Great to hear from you Mark! Thanks so much for taking the time to make your first comment here! That's awesome. Thanks for the kind words and I'm thankful to have you along! Happy New Year!
I loved the shop tour! Your shop is set up very similar to mine. I enjoy your channel very much. I think you should continue to show sponsored videos to an extent. Only show things that pertains to your channel/life. My Grandfather always told me: "once you get where your going, don't forget where you've been" I like the fact that you stay true to your channel and everyday life and not be someone or something your not. I look forward to 2022 and what it has in store for DDD. Keep up the great work Neil!
That's a great comment Travis so thanks for that. I like your Grandfather's mantra! I'm thankful for the upbringing I've had which I think will always hold me true to my roots. Thanks so much for watching!
One of the best TH-cam channels, the quality of the videos, the content and you as a person make up the channel. I am looking forward to many new videos this year. Greetings from Germany ☺️
So, I posted "first" earlier because I just wanted to do that once. I look forward to our Thursday night "practice nights" in your shop. Each week we get a peek at the upcoming video, we talk about new ideas, I love being a part of that with you. I love it when you throw in old footage of the good ole' days, Grandpa and Grandma. Each Sunday I check my phone multiple times just waiting for the notification of your video. On the day of the power outage I thought to myself "somethings wrong" no video. I know it's a lot of work, but keep doing what you're doing, if you need to cut down on the editing time, understandable, you're creating something that can be looked at and remembered forever. Thanks Neil.
Thanks for the shop tour! You have a very nice building there. I would like to build a similar building someday, but with taller doors to fit semi trucks and larger farm tractors.
Love the content, keep it up, on your timeline, not ours :) and for product reviews - I completely agree with your plan. Use products that you like and work for you and showcase them, and don’t show products that you don’t like!
I am all for honest product reviews! Keep them honest and anything you like i would bet most of us would also. Look forward to 2022 and God bless from idaho.
Thanks a bunch. Glad to have that feedback. I think most guys must feel the same way. I'll review what fits and what I like! Thanks for watching and happy new year!
Keep up the good work with the videos. I look forward to your videos every Sunday and I was getting worried that we were not going to get a video this Sunday.
I always look forward to your videos. I watch lots of TH-cam, and sometimes youtubers get too big for their britches and ruin their own channel with promotional items or things they are getting paid to show. I like the fact you never ask for subscribers or donations, i really do. Its nice that you usually respond to my comments, but I understand the day may come when you wont have time for that(which is fine, family comes first). Im looking forward to 2022 videos. I remember your garage door from previous videos, hopefully as your daughters age they remember how important that is to you and continue to draw you a picture every year.
I really appreciate that feedback on the sponsors and subscriber requests. I often wonder what people think of that. The TH-cam "school of thought" says we're supposed to ask but I figure people know what to do so no need to beg. Thanks for the support and understanding in that regard. I hope those girls keep it up too. I'm gonna be hounding them come father's day even when they're "too old" to draw on Dad's door. :) Happy New Year!
Great video. I have a collection of history that makes me smile stuck up on my shop walls. . I’m always surprised at the amount of comment you reply to and all the work you put into your channel. Many blessing for 2022 and let’s get Bill repowered.
Thanks so much Marcus. I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes stuff on the walls. I've got a good video in mind with that exact subject. I've been thinking about it for a long time. Bill is on the list for soon to start projects so I hope to get him in here. Thanks so much for watching and always being supportive!
I really appreciate HONEST product reviews ANYWHERE I can find them. Even better when someone incorporates those products they review into there own lives. There's a TH-camr called PROJECT FARM that does all sorts of product reviews and testing. I have watched 90-95% of all his videos. Please let us know of any products you have used and found to be "As Advertised"! I love the garage door panel as well. When my kids were very small my wife put up borders of wallpaper in their big bedroom. She gave the kids permission to draw anything they liked in between those borders. One of the most painful things I ever did was move out and leave that behind. Their drawings were actually on sheetrock between the borders. Probably could not have gotten away with taking them. KEEP UP THE GOOD AND HONEST VIDEOS.
Thanks so much. Loved the story of your kids' drawings on the wall. It would be very tough to leave it all behind for sure. Thanks for the great feedback and appreciate you watching!
Thanks Neil. Like you, I like to ‘save’ to old family tools and other things for my shed (I’m Australian). I also spend time asking my father about the backstory. Over time I’m sharing these stories with my four sons. It’s how they learn.
That is exactly right! I really try to soak it up and pass it on when appropriate. Great insight and thanks so much for watching! (Love hearing from Australia too)
I look forward to what you share in the new year. I really admire your dedication to reply to every comment in some form, while I really like the small community the channel has now, I’d love to see it continue to grow and bless you and your family for the work you put in. As for sponsors, I don’t mind seeing a product if the placement is right and you have actually tested and approve of the product yourself. Keep up the great work, I’ll be here for the long haul.
We watch your channel because we know we can trust your judgment on what is interesting and how to showcase it. Personally, I don’t think you need anybody’s input to help you steer that. Thanks a lot for the content and a great new year to you and yours. 🏴
Dude, this was extraordinarily interesting. Thanks for letting us have a peek into your life in greater detail. You can tell a lot about a man by what he keeps on his storage shelves.😁
Neil, great video. I find you to be informative and entertaining. You hit the nail on the head as for sponsors/embedded products. If you think that it fits with your channel, i.e. the work boots, booster pack, headlights; especially if it something you would have done anyways, then by all means, include it on the channel. Many of us are looking for honest reviews of products that are out there, so we don't just spend our money blindly. I just recently found you looking for content related to John Deere garden tractors, so I am all about that, but your other content is great as well. Looking forward to more great stuff over 2022.
Thanks a lot Andy. I'm glad you find the other video topics worth watching as well. I love the JD tractor videos but I have my fingers in so many other interests that well... I gotta mix it up a bit! Thanks for the feedback on the sponsored products. I think it sounds like most guys feel the same way I do. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Mr. Neil, I enjoy watching your videos, the effort you put in is obvious. You always make interesting videos too. As for products sponsors, I believe it means more when you use the products you promote. I also appreciate the fact you include your family, it’s tricky I’m sure, but it shows how much family means to you! Happy New Year, Stay warm, and God Bless!
Thanks so much Ashton. That is great feedback. I'm glad to hear that folks don't mind the family aspect too. Thanks so much for watching and Happy New Year!
Neil, As a previous subscriber commented below, I first saw you on TTWT and subsequently gave your channel a look ! Quickly became a subscriber and have been hooked ever since. I love how you entwine the family aspect with your content. As a subscriber, I appreciate any product promotion where you think there is valve to us subscribers. Keep up the great work, especially your cinematography skills. All the best in 2022. I'll be watching.
Very glad to have you and thanks for the kind words and support. I'm grateful to TTWT for the help in reaching a bigger audience. Have a great New Year and hope to see you in the comments in 2022!
Thanks for the tour. That’s a awesome shop. Looking forward to following along in 2022. I’m in favor of product reviews especially if it’s something that you will use.
I too am a sub that rarely comments but I just wanted to say I love the channel and everything you do. One of my favorite parts of your channel is the family element that you bring into it. Keep up the great work I continue to look forward to your uploads!
I love hearing that people appreciate the family aspect. I really like getting to include them in the videos and my girls enjoy it. Thanks for watching!
Keep up the good work, we know it takes time to upload and make these videos and we appreciate your efforts. I really enjoy the equipment you show. Like you I have several as well and it can be tough keeping it all going with a full time job. The shop is cool and to open it up to music and family is a blessing. May God bless you and your family.
I love your content and I appreciate that you haven't been very vocal with sponsored products. I see so many channels that push whatever they can get a paycheck for, regardless of the quality or applicability to the channel content. If you want to do more product placements, by all means, it's your channel. I know you won't be pushing garbage to make a few bucks.
I enjoy your channel and look forward to the weekly uploads. The sponsorship opportunities are cool, where I get a bad taste in my mouth is with the merch pushes for 1/4-1/3 of every video that some other creators do daily. Keep up the good work!
Enjoyed the tour! I’m always glad when you come out with a new video. I like product placement. It’s just a good way to share good products we might not other know about. Keep up the good work
Thanks for the tour Neil, I've got shop envy now! :) I too need to take time to reorganize my shop so I can better use it, your video has inspired me to get er done. Looking forward to seeing more in 2022! Don McD.
Appreciate the keeping it real, the sponsor bits here and there are good. Pros/cons of whatever the product, the selling out for sponsorship has led to the demise (for me at least) to a few channels. Best of wishes in 22 and beyond
I love your content always but your shop is great! Mine is much smaller at 26 x 38 yet similar “density”. Watching tools, utilization and organization is some of my favorite subject. Thanks!
from the Netherlands thanks for the video Neil . nice shop tour and explanation video and what a nice personal touch from the Girls . Happy new year and a safe and Healthy 2022 to you and Mrs.Koch and the Girls . Sincerely Hollandduck from the Netherlands
Product endorsements are a good thing for you and the subscriber! Especially if you go through The Good, The Bad and The Ugly! Happy New Years to the Koch family! Here’s wishing to you hitting a quarter million subscribers this year!
Oh boy! Wouldn't that be awesome :) Thanks for the continued support of the channel and being one of my best commenters. You always have such kind and thoughtful comments and it isn't lost on me that you take the time to say something on almost every video. Happy New Year!
Just tripped across one of your videos and watched a few more. Looked up Harlen Days, because my wife and I always love a good local festival, and it looks like you may be a couple counties over. I will be keeping an eye out for this years festival. Loved the shop tour!
Love your channel, projects, and presentation. You exemplify everything my wife and I loved about our time living in Indiana. I wish we still lived there (except for winter lol). Keep up the good work.
I’m a 68 year old woman, who LOVES a good shop. I’m also a tool girl. I also do all the yard work. You just never know who likes what. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much Andy! I'm glad you found it and I appreciate you watching.
I love your channel!! Just a normal guy doing normal stuff and teaching along the way. You keep being you!!
That's it in a nutshell! Thanks for watching!
You are the backbone of America.
Keep up the good work and best of luck in 2022 and beyond.
Great video! Really nice shop, I really like your content keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot Jason! I appreciate it.
Wow, as a dad 21:28 was really heart warming. Reminds me why us men work hard to love our families...
Thanks a lot. I really love it when people appreciate that part of the video.
Don't know if you've set up a PO Box yet, but it seems a common item that a lot of youtubers who accept freebies from subs or whatnot will offer up from time to time before they get too big and need to rent out a warehouse 😁
At risk of being extraordinarily long already, I wish you the best of future success and will enjoy your passion projects before this channel blows up.
You can find me via snail mail at:

Thanks for the great comments and for following along with the silly stuff I record.
@@digdrivediy Can't guarantee when that may show up, we're still trying to figure out if it pertains to hazmat requirements even though it shouldn't, but if one day next spring a small can in a square box shows up with suspicious labels from Texas, give it a chance before calling the bomb squad. 😉
Long story shortish, I was working with a small team to fabricate stronger composite jet engine parts right before Covid hit and wiped out our project.
Iowa Friend,
Brian Casebolt
What a touching comment. Thanks so much Brian. I really appreciate your support and viewership. My girls just added another addition to that door this past Father's Day. Take care!
agree 100 present on the sponsors keep up the good work
Thanks so much Mike and really appreciate all the support you have provided too. Happy New Year!
I have the markings on the garage side door of my 4 kids hight as they grew up in our home. All on there own and married. About 37 years in thus place. Good memories love the garage door.
Just makes it extra special.
Good advice. Thank you!
Really like your channel Neil, keep up the great content , always something interesting.
Thanks a lot Nick!
I don't comment on much, but was sent over by watch Wes work and Dirt perfect about a year or so ago.
@@nickpersenaire4443 Man, I never get tired of hearing that. 👍🏻
Cheers, Tom
Oh yeah, and a couple of things. Love the Fathers Day door, and please don’t “Kill Bill”!
Me too, that is where I heard of you Neil!
Thanks so much Mike. I owe a big debt of gratitude to Tim and Christy for helping me get that exposure. I appreciate the kind words and for sticking around to watch more after the TTWT video. Happy New Year to you and yours!
That's how I found DDD as well. The Huge Oak tree that fell with TTWT, right?
I think you’re on the right track with sponsors. If it fits the channel, then by all means go for it. Give us your honest take on any products you do share. Thanks for the shop tour. Love the old toys.
Really appreciate it Gabe! I'm a sucker for old toys. They all have character even if they're "junk"!
Awesome Keith! I was like hearing from up here in the world of a Grammy. Happy New Year!
Andy
Sheffield, England
Very good advice Andy. I always try to make my kids priority. They do grow up too fast.
I love a shop with a story in every corner.
Lol
Wow! That really makes a guy feel good! Thanks for following along Jonathan!
Peace.
Thanks! Really appreciate it!
The last 30 seconds... Que the water works. That's one Proud and Loved Daddy.
So glad you found the channel Aaron! So cool to think you're watching in Ireland. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video Neil. Love the Father's day door. Man, that radio, I remember that when it was new... Good stuff and thanks for sharing.
Hey guys! Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, that radio has some miles on it. I had to screw the CD lid closed cause it wouldn't stay latched but I didn't need that screw anymore :) Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tour. It's always neat to see how other have things laid out or organized. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Alan!
I enjoyed this video Neil. I always like to see into utility buildings & shop. Yours is quite personalized! And quite connected to your family and even your community. Thanks for a great start to my day.
You bet John. Thank you for watching!
Love your videos, I look forward to sitting down Sunday night to watch. One of the best things is how much you love your family
Thanks Paul. I appreciate that a lot.
Thanks for the insights. Just bought 40 acres on the Calif/Oregon border and am figuring out this homesteading thing. Your channel has been a great help.
Really appreciate that! Best of luck with your build! Happy New Year!
Neil you are a salt of the earth kind of person. I think your content is always interesting and your camera work/editing is excellent. Keep doing what you are doing and I know we will all enjoy being along for the ride!
Very nice of you to say Charles. I'll try to keep on keeping on. Really appreciate you coming along!
i road a Honda 3wheeler when i was like 1st or 2nd grade and SURVIVED it was a awesome ride
Love the content Neil, post some more firewood material! We love watching the constant firewood endeavors. Much love from Michigan!
You're in luck Tyler! I just spent all week with a firewood processor! That video coming soon!
Thanks Chris!
I'm just now watching this video two years and some change later. Great info. And I noticed you like or comment on these old videos. I'm just commenting to ty and help the algorithm.
It's about time for another shop update. But I have to clean it all up again!
Thanks for helping to boost the algorithm!
I love the door that your girls have expressed themselves on. Good job dad😉
Really appreciate it John! Thanks for hanging in there and best wishes to you as well for 2022!
Such a humble video! Loved it. Awesome getting to know your history a bit. So glad i found your channel months back. Never disappointed!! Take care and be safe. Happy belated holidays to you and your family!
Thanks so much Dan. I'm glad you've enjoyed and feel like sticking around. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Gday from Australia!! Nice “Man Shed” as we call them here down-under!
Not sure the heating system is something we need here but having an Air-conditioned shed would “spoil a man” for sure! Love what you do and thanks for sharing it with the world.
I’ve noticed the door in the past, love that they do that for you.
I really do too. Thanks Gliderider!
Great shop tour Neil 😃 Thanks for 2021 videos and there content ! What ever you choose to film or do I’m grateful for the vision happy new year
Another great video! Your humility definitely shows through! Product reviews are part of the process so keep evaluating because we trust your insight! Oh and thanks for helping Rob with my Christmas present! We intended to get over and watch the firewood processor in action but our project took longer than anticipated
Take care my friend
Always appreciate it Mike! You going to be ready to come down and be my drone pilot for videos soon?
@@digdrivediy I hope so hopefully I’ll get to that level soon
Thanks for the tour Neil very interesting. I like your channel because you are so natural with it and show it just like it is. Try to watch your videos as soon as I can but time difference to here in UK means sometimes late but you always reply. Appreciate that you don't overpost and yes shorts would be good. Sponsors you seem to have right level and approach. Thank you so much for taking the time to show your world. Happy New year
I'm glad you check them out Peter! Nice to hear the feedback about not overposting too. I always worry I should be doing more.
Fan of your videos. Liked the garage tour and loved the drawings on the garage door.
Great video and merchandise is a great idea. I'm glad you're gonna continue to produce videos. Love to watch them and I'm always waiting for a video to post. Much love from Virginia.
You sir, are a gentleman! Love your videos and the channel! Keep it up!!
Thanks so much.
Neil, I love your shop! It’s pretty sweet. I really enjoy watching your videos it instantly makes me happy watching you do your things. I hope to see some things with your garden tractors in 2022! If you reply, that would make my day, glad to see another video from you.
I'm glad you enjoy watching Jackson. Thanks for leaving me a comment and have a great weekend!
I love your door with the kids drawings! very cool!!
Thanks Felix. Love hearing from our friends in Germany!
Awesome shop especially the garage door artwork. You inspire me to do better on my own channel. Thanks for the tour, Neil.
Thanks a lot Paul!
I always appreciate all your support Tony! You're a Good cousin!
Thanks for the shop tour! You have a very nice building there. I would like to build a similar building someday, but with taller doors to fit semi trucks and larger farm tractors.
Thanks a bunch Michael. It works for me and the 12' doors have let me get about everything I want inside. Appreciate you watching!
Love the content, keep it up, on your timeline, not ours :) and for product reviews - I completely agree with your plan. Use products that you like and work for you and showcase them, and don’t show products that you don’t like!
Thanks James!
Happy New Year! Thanks for the tour you have a great place. Look forward to your upcoming videos
Appreciate it Vince!
You got everything you would EVER need! Your shop is impressive....Mcgyver of TH-cam!
I really appreciate it! Better late than never; right! :)
I'm super thankful for viewers like you Andrew. Always enjoy your comments and it makes me feel verified in what I'm trying to do. Happy New Year!
We watch your channel because we know we can trust your judgment on what is interesting and how to showcase it. Personally, I don’t think you need anybody’s input to help you steer that. Thanks a lot for the content and a great new year to you and yours. 🏴
Really appreciate that Mark. Happy New Year!
Dude, this was extraordinarily interesting. Thanks for letting us have a peek into your life in greater detail. You can tell a lot about a man by what he keeps on his storage shelves.😁
Ha! So true!
Great! I'm glad most folks seem to be on board.
Great you tube channel! Your honesty comes across in the videos. Sponsors … agree. Once per week video- perfect schedule
Thanks again !
Thanks Matt!
The cabinets in your office are awesome!!!! They don't make those anymore!!
Thanks Greg! Glad to have you watching and thanks for the kind words!
Thanks Brian!
I enjoy your channel and look forward to the weekly uploads. The sponsorship opportunities are cool, where I get a bad taste in my mouth is with the merch pushes for 1/4-1/3 of every video that some other creators do daily. Keep up the good work!
Hey buddy, loved the shop tour. I'd love to have a pole barn home shop like this someday too. Love the down to earth natural style. Best wishes!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed and I really appreciate you watching.
Enjoyed the tour! I’m always glad when you come out with a new video. I like product placement. It’s just a good way to share good products we might not other know about. Keep up the good work
Appreciate it Berry.
Thanks for the tour Neil, I've got shop envy now! :) I too need to take time to reorganize my shop so I can better use it, your video has inspired me to get er done. Looking forward to seeing more in 2022! Don McD.
Thanks Don!!!
Appreciate the keeping it real, the sponsor bits here and there are good. Pros/cons of whatever the product, the selling out for sponsorship has led to the demise (for me at least) to a few channels. Best of wishes in 22 and beyond
Thanks Joey!
The biggest problem with a big shop is that you have more room to store yunk and the longer it takes to clean al the yunk up.
You are EXACTLY right! It catches way too much stuff and before you know it you're buried!
Great shop tour, keep up the great content! Always look forward to the projects you get into. Hope you and your family have a great year!
Thanks Micah! Same to you and appreciate you watching!
I love your content always but your shop is great! Mine is much smaller at 26 x 38 yet similar “density”. Watching tools, utilization and organization is some of my favorite subject. Thanks!
Awesome video gave me some great ideas for my future shop thanks for all the videos in 2021 looking forward to 2022 videos

Appreciate it John. You're one of those top commenters that I am so thankful for always supporting the videos. Happy New Year!
Just tripped across one of your videos and watched a few more. Looked up Harlen Days, because my wife and I always love a good local festival, and it looks like you may be a couple counties over. I will be keeping an eye out for this years festival. Loved the shop tour!
Awesome! We enjoy our little festival quite a bit. First weekend in August (Aug 4,5,6, 2022). Thanks for checking out the videos Nate!
Love your channel, projects, and presentation. You exemplify everything my wife and I loved about our time living in Indiana. I wish we still lived there (except for winter lol). Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much Bob. That's a very nice comment.
