You did awesome with these ICM photos. The scratched textures with the phone bring a unique quality to it, the selective color is really effective to create contrast and you caught the right moments with each of them. I love all four images. They’re all moody and carry interesting expressions. I like how the color pops out. Well done!
Well Jay this is an awesome video!! I heb used this app a few times but didn’t know it was possible to stop the exposure by pressing the shutter button again 😊 What about your best 4… They are al great! Number 2 stands out for me. The lady with the hat and ghostly long coat… I definitely will use this app more after seeing this video 😀 Thanks 👍👍
New kid in the block, here. I've just seen a couple of your videos. I'd never heard of ICM, but I've done my fair share of ACM (Accidental Camera Movement). 😊 If you don't mind my asking, how much processing goes into your photos? If you do edit, do you have any videos of the editing process? Very cool. Thanks. PS: Do you post your ICM photos on IG?
Haha I like the ACM comment! Most of the time I do edit them. Sometimes I will use Snapseed which is a free app. Sometimes I’ll use Lightroom. With this video specifically, I used Lightroom mobile and I picked a default style. I would pick an option from the “dark” category or the “cinematic” category. I didn’t do much else to it than that. I did create a video that showed some of the Snapseed editing but I haven’t done one for Lightroom. Here’s the Snapseed video toward the middle of the video I show some editing. th-cam.com/video/DqABrx_bXL4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=erBZ5P0p2IzBgNGJ I don’t really post much on instagram anymore. It started to feel pointless and overcrowded.
I typically just post on TH-cam. It’s been a goal of mine to get my channel monetized but I’ve been doing this channel since 2016 and still can’t reach the required watch time to achieve it. Hopefully one day. I saw a video from Ted Forbes highlighting a photographer Alexey Titarenko and his album “City of Shadows” and I loved those photos. Not exactly ICM just long shutter with people moving but the concept of blurring things I liked. Then I saw a video by Thomas Heaton talking about Andy Grey’s channel and he does ICM. So combine those and that’s why I started playing with ICM.

How did you get interested in ICM?
