Hello, Rocket is Beautiful! We must have his twin brother named Rusty! He weighs 10 Pounds and 51 inches long...The advice you give has worked spot on With Rusty for 2 years...He is mad at is dad now for allowing a male puppy in the house... Our Grandkids came to visit with the puppy.. Rusty goes to the Vet spa for nail trim and health check every 6-8 weeks.and has never adversely reacted to any animals Dogs, cats, birds. However he has never had an animal where he is the King..Don has to be very patient with him because Rusty goes full on HULK MODE and wants to show pure dominance... Keep up the great care and advice...GO ROCKET! Don and Cindy Sullivan

The way he slides down the couch in the very beginning is adorable!! Those are great tips! Are you sure those short clips are him!! Holy balls 🚀 you are a 🦖 now and looked like a 🦎 when you were smaller!! So adorable how he just closes his eyes and enjoys his rubs!!
@@Rocket_The_Iguana that’s amazing his growth!! Just means he’s lived a healthy lifestyle! You should hold him against your chest and then put the comparison you showed when he was a little 🦎
Rocket how do I train my iguana to attack on command I can't have animals with fur so I got an iguana and he is my best friend but I have no dog for protection I need him to alert me when people are here and I need him to attach if he is needed to I live in a bad neighborhood and I'd like to take him walking without a leash as well
So, I have an iguana that's between 2 and 3 feet long (don't know the exact age) and small children (2 year old and 3 year old) I got the iguana as an emergency rescue. I grew up around a well socialized female iguana. The problem I've had is that trying to work a full time job and rebuild my business that went belly up due to the covid economy has left me not interacting enough. I want to socialize it to the point that I can trust it out of its enclosure but I'm unsure if that would be reasonable with my kiddos or with the way I haven't conditioned it to being handled so far.
It should probably be ok as long as it’s not in mating season but definitely would be wise to watch it first around them to make sure it’s not being aggressive or territorial with the kiddos
I have a question. My iguana Georgy, he will love all on my and lick all over me and play with me and then all of a sudden he will bite me. He is not biting really hard or shaking like they usually do when they bite but it still hurts. Is there any reason why you can think that he would do this. We were told that she was 2 when we got him and we have been working with he over the last year. Please help. I love him to death but I am still scared of him.
Hi, just be patient! Try to find out what triggered him to dominate... it is a biological trait that unfortunately you may not be able to fix. Some Iguanas are just gonna be the boss..My experience is that if he was calm and cooperated, or put up with you before, patience is the key.. One tip..when you approach him/her don't make eye contact, and stay level or just a little below. This will help make him feel not threatened By you. Good luck! GOTTA LOVE OUR SCALY KIDS! Don
He knows he's the shit🥰 Love it ♥️♥️♥️

I’m trying so hard to tame my blue iguana. He’s not even a year old yet but he was eating out of my hand now he wants to kill me everytime I try
I was say on the days that he acts out to just try easing in and petting him on top or side of his head that may get him to calm down
