@@LuisitoM432 when It comes to Hondas I'd spend around 5K-6K on an EG6 as a budget build but meant for mountain passes , swap an affordable starter engine like a B18C SiR-G and tune it from 185hp to 200hp and add Honda's factory LSD diff and coilovers and strut bars , and sways to improve the handling and buy a 500 dlls caliper kit , and hyperventilated disc brakes to improve the braking .

I had an old 98 accord v6. Although I didn’t turbo it I made that thing track ready by gutting it and adding all the bolt ons possible for the car. It was fun until I crashed it.

My first car is a 2001 honda civic ex. I bought it two weeks ago and I bought it from a ricer. Car was "lowered" (heated up the springs), "straight pipe" (no catalytic converter, let alone exhaust), and a couple aftermarket parts. I'm restoring it to oem, but maybe one day it'll be a a non riced tuner.

You only need to spend crazy money on a civic if you’re making a drag/dyno queen. You can build one to around 250 horsepower and have a mean track weapon. Isn’t that what supercar owners always say? “Hurr durr muscle cars only go in a straight line”? Build a track beast. Put a ricer bodykit on it and an anime waifu vinyl wrap to complete the humiliation.
My friend had a twin screwed 08 civic SI and it gave my 08 whippled mustang GT/CS and run for its money. And I have 505whp and 486wtq. Both manuals. One of the funnest races I’ve ever been in. I was actually nervous he’d pull on me.
