Hey Johnny At Stenner some kids legit dug 70cm-100cm deep holes in the jump line on black. For the people who can’t clear them all, like me, it’s kinda ruined the fun. My mates and I filled one in and the kids who dug em showed up and started swearing up a storm, saying “it’s illegal to do that” I said it’s illegal to dig ‘em in the first place and they were like “but we had no choice!” 😂😂😂
It's the same rules that Boomers has. NO CHUNKY MTB TIRES ON THE BMX JUMP TRAILS. It just really bothers me that these bmx trails cost $70,000 to build and no one bothers to water the jumps before riding them that includes the smaller kids section and everyone ignores the sign that tells you not to be ridden with CHUNKY mtbs tires. The sign is right were you start next to the entrance to go left to the smaller section, or right into the big mainline section. You can't miss it unless you're blind. And there's a tap with a hose for wetting the take offs and the landings berms ect. Its so the dirt packs dowm and stops cracking and corrosion. But no one bothers to do the right thing. It's almost impossible to keep public dirt jumps well looked after when kids and others don't look after the place. But I try my best. The older ones that backbone bmx built had a steel bar going across the main roll in which makes it almost impossible to ride them, unless you have a key, which you can only get by becoming a member of the A.C.T. bmx club through backbone bmx. That would be the best solution to stop mtb riders ruining the bmx jumps. And that's what vapour trail and evolution mtb jumps with 20 jumps in a row perfect for mtbs. Alot of time (especially Tyson jones penny from backbone bmx went through a lot to get them built through the government. because our "hidden trails" had to be destroyed because of some goodie goodie told the fucking council and demanded they be torn down. Mtb riders need to learn bmx edicts before riding bmx trails. Because there's rules in the bmx world that mtb don't understand. And I'm just curious, how would you rate stromlo compared to Boomers??
Hey buddy, you don’t need to come here and preach to me 😂 I’m a life time bmx rider, I helped build many popular trails and understand what you’re talking about. However your sign isn’t going to stop anyone riding the jumps on public grounds, the big set I understand why no Nobby tires should be riding them, however the small set I couldn’t see an issue with. Boomers is a private bike park, you can’t just walk in off a public street and ride them. Perhaps there needs to be signs at the clubhouse and online about it? Stromlo was fun, but boomers is worlds above, I’d have stromlo at a 7 if boomers is a 10,
I dunno what they expected tbh building BMX jumps in a public MTB park that gets used by 99% MTB traffic, then complaining when MTBs ride on the trails. They should have built them next to a BMX track or somewhere better located.
Can’t get over how sick this place is!
It's so cool for you to be recognised in Canberra for your content ❤
Pretty awesome 😁👀

@@JohnnyThe_Gikr you can’t do anything! I’ll just have to stick with the blue jump lines 😅
@@JohnnyThe_GI’m pretty sure the council is filling them in soon! They got caught red handed
@@JohnnyThe_Gthe kids also ruined the lips on double black (I’ve never ridden it) but they look really bad now
@FISHYY_MTB yeah man just keep hitting blue until you’re confident enough for black 👌
19:20 I made it in the video!
