I’m teaching my littles to disagree appropriately! We aren’t using all of the specific language but I remind them that screeching and kicking is not disagreeing appropriately and acknowledging, “That was disagreeing appropriately! How did that feel in your heart?!” “Great!”

I been putting my kid in time out for about 2 years now and I’m starting to notice that it’s not enough she will say sorry for not listening calm down on her own say she is going to listen but still fight me a second time so idk weather or to keep using that.
