Wow I can really relate to these poor people. I had three Neighbors From Hell. Who lived across the street renting out part of the house and then using the garage as an office for psychotherapy. She had no waiting room so all the people ended up on my lawn or in front of my house fighting with each other because they're unstable. Then the guy next door had four dogs he let them bark non-stop couldn't even go outside to eat because the dogs were always out there barking. Had another neighbor on the other side of me with one dog. Same thing let the dog out and just let him bark all day long. Couldn't even sit in our backyard. It was a nightmare. It helped make a dent in my marriage also. I was very sick and my husband was going through his issues. I know the neighbors from hell no consideration I don't know how they could stand the constant barking. We got divorced and sold the house and said goodbye. I've never seen anything like it. The things the landlord across the street had to say to me or vile and disgusting. She said she hoped my children were born retarded. After she said that I found out that she had a daughter that was disabled. I can't even fathom the way that poor kid was probably treated. This woman was mentally ill and just horror. It's over now thank God I'm in a nice quiet neighborhood but the law protects the guilty, not the victim

I have been selling Security Systems and Cameras for 23 years. I hear these stories all the time. My advice. Don’t talk to or confront the bully. They hate being ignored. In a note book document time and date of everything said or done. Call the police and show them your note book. The police should then talk to the bully. If problem persists keep going back to the police but remember do not talk to or confront the bully.

Had a neighbor like this once that police were well aware of so already he was on the wrong side. I ended up getting him so mad one time hoping he would swing at me, exactly where I wanted him. Made sure there were witnesses and even fell to the ground to make it look good. That was all I needed for a self defense claim. I beat the brakes off that man, I whaled on him for 3 minutes straight. I waited 4 years for that moment. He never called the cops because he knew he swung first and fell into my trap. He never said a word to me after that, occasionally flipping me off when he drove by but that’s fine, I would just wave at him and smile.. lol was hella worth it.

But the Canon XA11/15 are considered pro-level HD cams and run under $2k, I don’t recall off the top of my head but certainly there are decent 4k cams at that price, though Canon/Sony tends to be 3k + for something really good. Not that it wouldn’t be 4k.. but the lens would have to suck and it’d be riddled with issues. I’d spend 400 on an HD Handicam and at least know you get decent quality. (I’m not saying you know this or not, just, I sure as shit wouldn’t trust a 4k that cheap when good HDs are over 1000). Also are they saying the security system was 70? my husband and i bought 5 acres to put our house on because we were so sick of terrible neighbors . 2 years later a guy bought the acres next to ours and was living in a CAMPER trailer with a porta-potty on the back side of his hill, draining down into the creek below. it only got worse over the years as he started a full blown junk yard. since my husband past a few years ago this man is slowly but surely encroaching onto MY property! he has cut down the saplings along the fence line that divides our properties. since his property is so full of junk he has begun coming up w/excuses to drive his large bulldozer and other large vehicles over here. i am about to lose my mind ...

I’m trying to sue my last landlord. The lower tenant was pacing in front of my window saying he was going to shoot me because I called the cops on him for ripping locks off my washer and dryer. The landlord told the cop i was not all there and not competent to make decisions because i am disabled. I have my paralegal degree but have agoraphobia and social anxiety disorder. I can’t do people. I was tormented until I moved and the police report says the landlord was kicking me out because I was disabled.

The cops should be citing the neighbor every time they are called out and the video shows that the neighbor has committed an unlawful act. After about the fifth appearance before a judge and his fifth $500.00 fine, he may get the picture that he needs to knock off the crap.

This is NOTHING compared to what I have to go thru with my neighbors!!! I just had major brain surgery and they keep coming over to my house and bringing me home made cookies and treats that are delicious, especially these coconut ones that you can put on ice cream and microwave just a little bit and they melt oh so nice. When I was gone for the surgery they came over to my house and took ALL MY MAIL and saved it until I got back from surgery then the moment I got back to my house they came running over with all my mail and gave it back to me. They text me if they haven't seen me out and about in a while and make sure that I am "okay". This is just the beginning of all their treachery. Oh the pain and anguish I go thru. Did I mention they go to my church too? My goodness.

One day our dog broke through our invisible fence and was wandering the neighborhood while we were gone, and I get home to a squad car in the driveway. they told us it was all somehow our fault. about three months later, it happened again and the neighbors claimed our dog cornered their daughter and their little rat dog, and was barking and growling viciously. Keep in mind this is a dog who is sweet as can be and will jump right in your pocket and be your best friend if you let her, and will even run and hide at the slightest loud noise. So they made up this bullshit story. The cops told us if they have to come out again she would be labeled a vicious dog and would have to be put down if anything ever happened again. Instead of coming to us and talking it out like normal human beings, they just skip everything and call the police right away. Fucking asshats. Next time they're little mutt comes into my yard, it's getting a double barrel full of rock salt. Or an unloaded airsoft gun magazine.

When I was a teenager I lived with my single mother and my younger brother. We were poor and had to live in a crappy apartment. The woman who lived in the unit right next door absolutely hated us for some reason that we never could understand. To get to our front door we had to walk directly passed her door and every time we came home she would yell obscenities at us through her door screen. We endured her verbal abuse for four long years before we were finally able to move. We never knew why she hated us so much but it was awful, especially when we had company come over. It was so embarrassing. She was just a miserable disgusting person, I guess.
I had terrible neighbours as well for a couple of years and it truly takes a toll on your mental health. I’m glad they moved and I’m glad you were able to move. People like that are just miserable inside. You’re absolutely right.

My friend had a neighbor who would play music extremely loud outside on weeknights. He would urinate in his yard and shoot guns at a stump while he was drunk. She called the police on him several times. It escalated because the police couldn't do anything. Then he started walking around his yard in a speedo and whenever my neighbor was outside, he would expose himself to her. Whenever she would try to sit on her deck, he would get a chair and face it toward her from his backyard and stare and say things. He would yell things at her, and every time the police were called by her or other neighbors, he would stand and beat his chest like Tarzan and yell "I win" at them when the police left without doing anything. She bought surveillance cameras and took pics with her cell phone. Then she found out he didn't own his house like she had been told. He rented it. She found out who owned it and basically harassed them until they made him move out. She also had to take him to court over exposing himself. She lived with that nightmare for a long time before being able to get him out. There should be better laws about harassment from neighbors.

The police does nothing! I had an incident with auto repair guys down the street from me where they were on my driveway and were so rude! One of them stared at me, watch me get my little one out of my car and continue to stare and block the sidewalk. I called the police and they literally said, if there was no physical attack or death threats, there is nothing we can do. Meanwhile im alone with a small child fearing for my safety because bullies can roam around and nothing is done to them.

Domestic abuse situations where people were being stalked and abused for years or murdered because restraining orders do nothing. Wow I can really relate to these poor people. I had three Neighbors From Hell. Who lived across the street renting out part of the house and then using the garage as an office for psychotherapy. She had no waiting room so all the people ended up on my lawn or in front of my house fighting with each other because they're unstable. Then the guy next door had four dogs he let them bark non-stop couldn't even go outside to eat because the dogs were always out there barking. Had another neighbor on the other side of me with one dog. Same thing let the dog out and just let him bark all day long. Couldn't even sit in our backyard. It was a nightmare. It helped make a dent in my marriage also. I was very sick and my husband was going through his issues. I know the neighbors from hell no consideration I don't know how they could stand the constant barking. We got divorced and sold the house and said goodbye. I've never seen anything like it. The things the landlord across the street had to say to me or vile and disgusting. She said she hoped my children were born retarded. After she said that I found out that she had a daughter that was disabled. I can't even fathom the way that poor kid was probably treated. This woman was mentally ill and just horror. It's over now thank God I'm in a nice quiet neighborhood but the law protects the guilty, not the victim

Made sure there were witnesses and even fell to the ground to make it look good. That was all I needed for a self defense claim. I beat the brakes off that man, I whaled on him for 3 minutes straight. I waited 4 years for that moment. He never called the cops because he knew he swung first and fell into my trap. But the Canon XA11/15 are considered pro-level HD cams and run under $2k, I don’t recall off the top of my head but certainly there are decent 4k cams at that price, though Canon/Sony tends to be 3k + for something really good.
Not that it wouldn’t be 4k.. but the lens would have to suck and it’d be riddled with issues. I’d spend 400 on an HD Handicam and at least know you get decent quality.

Cops say, "We can't do anything." That's not true. In most, if not all states, there are harassment laws, if you can prove it. The videos do just that. The cops should be citing the neighbor every time they are called out and the video shows that the neighbor has committed an unlawful act. After about the fifth appearance before a judge and his fifth $500.00 fine, he may get the picture that he needs to knock off the crap.

This is NOTHING compared to what I have to go thru with my neighbors!!! I just had major brain surgery and they keep coming over to my house and bringing me home made cookies and treats that are delicious, especially these coconut ones that you can put on ice cream and microwave just a little bit and they melt oh so nice. When I was gone for the surgery they came over to my house and took ALL MY MAIL and saved it until I got back from surgery then the moment I got back to my house they came running over with all my mail and gave it back to me. They text me if they haven't seen me out and about in a while and make sure that I am "okay". This is just the beginning of all their treachery. Oh the pain and anguish I go thru. Did I mention they go to my church too? My goodness.

Those sting ball claymores are pretty gnarly. Remember those ones used in Jackass for a stunt? The ones used for protecting embassies and stuff for crowd control. Those things would be pretty effective. More so than paintballs. plus a paintball firing that fast would just break right away. Those stingball mines would be perfect. I tried making my own once because of my Jackass neighbors and their dog that kept coming into our yard and digging up all the gardens, eating our dogs food, tearing up our trash, and shitting all over our lawn (not to mention taking a chunk out if my dogs ear once). instead of calling the cops, we would politely go to their house and ask them to keep their dog inside or on an invisible fence, and they were complete beligerint assholes about it. One day our dog broke through our invisible fence and was wandering the neighborhood while we were gone, and I get home to a squad car in the driveway. they told us it was all somehow our fault. about three months later, it happened again and the neighbors claimed our dog cornered their daughter and their little rat dog, and was barking and growling viciously. Keep in mind this is a dog who is sweet as can be and will jump right in your pocket and be your best friend if you let her, and will even run and hide at the slightest loud noise. So they made up this bullshit story. The cops told us if they have to come out again she would be labeled a vicious dog and would have to be put down if anything ever happened again. Instead of coming to us and talking it out like normal human beings, they just skip everything and call the police right away. Fucking asshats. Next time they're little mutt comes into my yard, it's getting a double barrel full of rock salt. Or an unloaded airsoft gun magazine.

When I was a teenager I lived with my single mother and my younger brother. We were poor and had to live in a crappy apartment. The woman who lived in the unit right next door absolutely hated us for some reason that we never could understand. To get to our front door we had to walk directly passed her door and every time we came home she would yell obscenities at us through her door screen. We endured her verbal abuse for four long years before we were finally able to move. We never knew why she hated us so much but it was awful, especially when we had company come over. It was so embarrassing. She was just a miserable disgusting person, I guess.
I had terrible neighbours as well for a couple of years and it truly takes a toll on your mental health. I’m glad they moved and I’m glad you were able to move. People like that are just miserable inside. You’re absolutely right.

My friend had a neighbor who would play music extremely loud outside on weeknights. He would urinate in his yard and shoot guns at a stump while he was drunk. She called the police on him several times. It escalated because the police couldn't do anything. Then he started walking around his yard in a speedo and whenever my neighbor was outside, he would expose himself to her. Whenever she would try to sit on her deck, he would get a chair and face it toward her from his backyard and stare and say things. He would yell things at her, and every time the police were called by her or other neighbors, he would stand and beat his chest like Tarzan and yell "I win" at them when the police left without doing anything. She bought surveillance cameras and took pics with her cell phone. Then she found out he didn't own his house like she had been told. He rented it. She found out who owned it and basically harassed them until they made him move out. She also had to take him to court over exposing himself. She lived with that nightmare for a long time before being able to get him out. There should be better laws about harassment from neighbors.

The police does nothing! I had an incident with auto repair guys down the street from me where they were on my driveway and were so rude! One of them stared at me, watch me get my little one out of my car and continue to stare and block the sidewalk. I called the police and they literally said, if there was no physical attack or death threats, there is nothing we can do. Meanwhile im alone with a small child fearing for my safety because bullies can roam around and nothing is done to them.
