  • OBSCURIST TOURIST 047 - The Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona was built in 1956. It is a wonderful example of organic architecture, incorporating the natural elements around it into its design. It was commissioned by Sedona rancher, sculptor, and one-time Frank Lloyd Wright student Marguerite Brunswig Staude, who was inspired to build the chapel after seeing on the Empire State Building for the first time in 1932.
